If I could leave zero stars, I would. I went to get a full set. Explained to the lady that I needed a natural tone due to my job. At first the color looked to be natural. But then she began to paint pink over my nail that made it a brighter pink color, which made it look more fake than natural. I said it was okay to paint over but she refused to help me. Another lady came over and asked me what the issue was and I explained to her. She asked me if I wanted a color over it, but after the encounter I had I just wanted the nails off. I thanked her but said no, I'd just like to take them off. She also became rude. Was rough taking off the nails and shoved my hands away after she finished and told me not to return. The nail files and buffers that were used on me were VERY used, felt kinda gross thinking about all the other people's nails who used the same nail file? This place has a few good nail techs like Tony but most of the people here are sketchy . Today the lady who appears to be in charge attempted to do my wife's nails was really sketchy. First I advise if you are getting your nails removed do it yourself as the don't have acetone to soak them off. With that being said I believe it's due to time when removing her nails they rushed and ripped them off we get our nails done regularly and this woman did not care about ripping her nails off to the point where her nail started bleeding. We've been there where we tear all the way to the nail bed and it hurts. Well i tried to look at my wife's nails because she was complaining that they hurt way more than usual and i seen it was bleeding and the lady snatched my wife's hand and glued the broken nail back on to her finger! The worse part is how she went about it trying to pretend like it wasn't as bad as it was. The people that work there are nice and happy to help. If you don't like their work they will fix but no refunds. I have never needed either. John is very fast, he can do fills in less than 45mins. He has some 3d nail art options and whenever I got my nails done here they lasted longer then 2weeks. Gail almost did my pedi. She does a really good job, takes time massaging you legs and just a really nice lady.. Adore her!! They specialize with the colored powered and have a wide selection of choices. The shop also has waxing available but I wouldn't recommend it. My normal wax place is out of the way so I thought I would have my brows done here to save time. This place is filthy and they don't sterilize the equipment used for nails. I waited about 25 minutes for my turn today. I wanted an acrylic removal.There's a lady whose station is to the left of the desk where you check in. She told me to sit at her station while she attended to a couple of customers paying. She was wearing one glove, I'll get back to that.. I sat at her station and saw that she didn't get a chance to clean up after finishing the last customer. There was a towel across the table with nail clippings on it. Their was some dirty nail clippers and cuticle cutters on the towel also. So I sat in the chair and waited. She came to me, sat down, picked up those just used dirty clippers and asked for my hand ! She was going to use them on me ! I asked her if she was going to clean she looked suprised, not expecting me to question. She said it's clean. I said no it's not! There's someone's nail clippings on this towel and those clippers where just used. She said "if you don't want me to do it you can go somewhere else". I said, "Yes, I can and I will! I will go somewhere clean!" I left. Also, she never changed her one dirty glove. So she worked on someone's hand, handled money and credit cards with the same dirty gloves and came to work on me...NO THANK YOU!! BUT I guess things happen for a reason...when the shop i usually go to in IB (J&T nails) pretty much lost a customer! Long story short...only cause I was referred by a friend to come see TONY! So this review would have been 5 stars, but initially when I walked in (they took walk in quick) they didn't seem very welcoming... I also had sat down and heard a client telling the nail tech tht her nail looked "weird" and he totally ignored her and kept on doing what he was... so I quickly thought twice about my decision... but at tht exact moment- I heard "I'm ready for you"- There he was TONY with a big welcoming smile, very professional, funny and listened to what I wanted before even starting... he asked questions, made sure I liked the shape, length and truly took his time! He had a customer. After me, he excused himself to go tell her personally tht he was sorry he was behind. I was amazed at Tony skills he shaped them so great, the gel polish was put on perfectly and he didn't even have to go back and clean up the extra gel tht can get around the cuticle edges ... I was impressed! Overall I had a very good experience with Tony. It is a little pricey, however if it is a good job, good customer service and will last me long... it's worth it! I have psoriasis. Anyone that knows what it is knows it's not contagious. I initially told the lady doing my manicure and pedicure I had psoriasis. I know it's not appealing to the eye. ( Keep in mind it's been months that I haven't gotten a manicure or pedicure because of my insecurities with my newly diagnosis. ) On top of the constant starring I got from the ladies and other girls in the shop, the way she went out of her way to point it out to me as if I didn't know it was there. It was disturbing and made me uncomfortable. And again I said it's psoriasis. You would think if you touch hands and feet all day you would know what kind of skin conditions people have. My friend stayed behind as she was still doing her nails and said everyone was saying "alcohol alcohol alcohol." As she vigorously begins to clean her hands and station. On top of speaking another language we all know what they were saying was not pretty. All in all this is BOTH of our first and last time coming. The disrespect is outrageous. And no I didn't tip which is very unlike me because money is not a problem. But a tip is EARNED and not given when you feel disrespected your entire experience. I have never been more disappointed in a nail visit in my life. I got a regular pedi and full set, I didn't take a picture bc literally every time I would look at my nails I would get annoyed at the experience all over again. They get 1 Star bc they were nice and took me right away, however! I got a regular pedi not in a spa chair and paid the same price as if it was a spa pedicure. It hasnt even been 2 weeks and my toe nail polish is chipping from all my nails. My acrylics were the worse part. They were chunky and textured and did not have an even shape. It's been less than 2 weeks and 8/10 nails are lifting around the cuticle, 1 is chipped and 1 broke. The nails have chunks of acrylic under where my natural nail is. I almost wish they didn't so speedy work so they can take their time and do quality work. This used to be my spot back in the day (like 2007ish) but unfortunately IMO they did not get better with age. I won't return, not good enough for the crazy amount your pay. read more

First of all let me start by saying this is the my first trip and final trip here. It's beautiful inside, but that's honestly the only thing nice about this place. I walked in and wasn't greeted right away like the other spots I've been too, when I got seated in the pedicure chair the lady stared doing a bunch of stuff without asking me.. I'm assuming their was a language barrier and that's why she needed others to come and ask but I ended up having to pay for stuff I didn't even know I had agreed too. Then once I was done and moved to a manicure chair, the lady who helped me seemed very confused. She couldn't get the old gel off my nails and proceeded to file it down which took FOREVER, then she laid a clear coat on but it wouldn't dry, even under the lamps, she had to keep calling for help over and over and in the end just decided to pain over a wet bottom coat, she started painting my skin & had to stop each and every time to bring out her nail polish remover, only to do the same thing over and over. Finally someone noticed my frustration and came over, the lady that took over was really nice but didn't listen to what I wanted. I asked for a single heart in 2 of my nails and she did the heart, but then added all these dots around it. I didn't feel like arguing at that point and I did NOT want to see that acetone being pulled out again so I left it as is. Ended up paying about $87 and I'm not happy at all. I went in Friday less than 24 hours later gel polish was peeling off. I went back and showed the lady behind register my receipt and told her it hasn't been 24 hours and looks at my nails. I've paid 15 dollars and 20 dollars for gel polish at other places and lasted weeks ( I has gel on Friday and it had been about 14 days wasn't done here!) I was asked if I remembered who did them and I couldn't see her, so she asked which chair I sat at so I told her. Then asked if I wanted same color, and I said no, thinking there might have been an issue with the polish. So I was asked to sit at the chair I sat the day before. I was brought the sample of colors and a different lady that did not help me yesterday sat and asked to see my nails. The look on her face was uncomfortable she looked as though she was mad. Minutes later there were like 4 swarming around me, and it continued with different ladies looking at my nails and speaking in their language saying only God knows what. She starts to file away the gel polish and tells me " I do same color not different color" and I told her no, I was told I could choose a different color, they brought me this to choose" so she says "I change color I will have to charge you" at that point I'm LIVID and I say You will not charge me I'm not paying extra for poor work. Then some man that works there tells me" we will redo color, not different color" I told them they are being rude and have very poor customer service, I asked her to remove what was left of the polish and to give me a refund, and I WOULD NEVER SET FOOT IN THERE AGAIN!! This place was close to my house so I thought I would give it a try, big mistake I got a pedicure with an older guy first of all he was so aggressive second he turn the hot water on my feet was on fire I kept telling him the water was hot he ignored me and and told me to put my feet in there anyway. He took about 5 minutes to do my pedicure he didn't even put lotion on my feet or clean my toes all I pretty much payed for was a color change and still charged me 25 bucks. By far the worst Nail salon, I have been here before a couple years ago and was very satisfied with the service and the work but this time was beyond horrible. I came in today to get my nails and toes done for my bday this coming up Saturday and of course the mess up my nails. The girl that was doing my toe nails did my nails in like 15 minutes when it usually takes up to 40 minutes sometimes. She than finished and did no ask if I was satisfied, she put on the flip flops and told me to go get my finger nails done. After a while a decided to look how my toes came out and come to find that the sides of my fat toes were not painted and one side was actually stuck to slim with paint, I have never seen such horrible job. A second lady came and unpolished my fat toes and repainted them and AGAIN one of the fat toes were 1/2 polished on the second coat and it was so obvious I can't believe she didn't notice. Now the rest of the toes she painted over them and now I had 4 layers of I dried nail polish on my toes, CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT?? Jen the one doing my hand nails, was nice enough to offer to paint my toas since the first 2 ladies weren't successful on there job. Now Jen cut my cuticle badly on one of my fingers. But whatever I gave them 1 star because there's no other option. I'm definitely NEVER COMING back to this place....... they can keep there business. This has been my go to nail spot for about a year now & usually I have a great experience but what happened today was the worst nail experience I've had anywhere by far. I showed up with long nails that had gel powder over the top, I told the nail tech they looked like acrylic but were my nails. She proceeded to use a tool that looked like nail pliers and started breaking my nails. Not only did this mess my nails up but it hurt. I expressed to her that usually they file the powder off however she said no because my nails were too thin. Finally she hurt me again and broke my nail so bad so I told her nicely, I'm really sorry but I will be going somewhere else. The first picture is what my nails looked like when I came in and how long they were, the last photo is the one hand she worked on and how she left my nails.
