Horrible experience! I tried to give this nail salon a second try but I refuse to spend my money where I'm disrespected. The customer service is poor, quality of work is atrocious and cost is over priced. The nail technician who removed my acrylic initially insisted on removing my nails with "used" nail tips. I suggested that my nails be removed using the soaking method to prevent any damage. He seemed annoyed but complied. Between soaking and using the electric buffer, it took some time for the acrylic to be removed. What I was most concerned about was how harsh the buffer was on my natural nail which caused intense nerve pain due to the continued buffering. When I brought this to his attention he continued as though he did not care. I requested an apology and realized immediately that this nail salon was not worthy of my money. I requested an apology and could not wait to get out of there! The lady who took over for him was just as unpleasant. I would not recommend not would I be returning to this salon. read more

If there was a minus star rating, I would give that. Connie did my two teen daughters' nails and they were very poorly done. The gel powder extended over their skin on the sides of the nail and cuticle. It was not defined or neat. The paint did not reach the edges or sides. They were the worse nails I've seen in my 30 yrs of having my own nails done. I politely asked Connie to remove the gel nails from their nails totally. I wanted it all off and back to the natural nail (the way we entered the salon). She took the nail clipper and clipped off the long part of the nail jagged and said get out! I refused to leave with their nails in that condition, because they could not even use their hands. I would have had to go to another salon to have the jagged, 1/2 done nails removed. I asked her again to remove the nails from their nails. She got really indignant and cursed me in front of my daughters. Words I cannot repeat here. I threatened to call the police if they refused to remove the gel from their nails. Two nail techs made her go to the back and the two of them removed the nails. It was a horrible experience, very sloppy work and unprofessional. As a result, I also reported the salon to the BBB. read more

This business should NOT be in business. Came in with my 10 y/o daughter and signed in as instructed. Selected our colors of choice and waited. And waited. And waited as my daughter and I got bypassed a couple of times consequently as they called on other customers to service.. I decided to mention it to the staff and they were extremely rude and obnoxious. What is the purpose of a list if it's negated. Does it matter what the color of my skin is or is the value of the Caucasian customers money worth more than mine? After they asked "the other" customer group repeatedly-who was here first. Excuse me, I stated. Check the list, it's clear. We were here first and have been waiting patiently and overlooked several times. They began to yell and flail their arms in their native tongue and 2 customers that were being serviced looked at me and said "If I were you, I wouldn't give them my money. The service here sucks and we won't be returning". A split second passed and I kindly picked up my purse, grabbed my daughters' hand and exited stage left. Unfortunately, our neighborhoods have been saturated with nail salons with those that don't care for their customer base but this is who we have resulted to giving our money to. I visited this place with my friend on April 11, 2014 for the second time in about two years. My first experience wasn't the best, but was better than the last. Initially I felt they were over priced for the level of service I received. When I went a couple weeks ago, I got a rushed pedicure, and as the lady tried to clean up the polish around the edges, she botched her polish job. When I tried to get her to correct it, she ignored me at first but finally fixed a couple toes. I also asked for a gel fill-in. After being given 3 different prices, we settled on $25. I then experienced attitude from one of the women, and the same polish mishap occurred with my nails. A couple days later I went to a place near my house in Silver Spring and come to find out, I didnt even have gel!!! I'm completely pissed and will never even look at this place when I pass by it again. And i forgot to mention the inconvenience of their broken credit card machine. Lesson learned! read more

Would give zero stars if I could. This place is terrible. They rush you through, do a sloppy job, and don't listen (one time the woman doing my nails said "you don't want that color, this one look better" and just started painting my nails with a different polish. The last time I got a pedicure here it was basically just a polish change, and a very poorly done job at that. No cuticle trim, no leg massage, no callous scrub just slapped on some polish and shoved me out the door. One of my nails was only half painted and I had to take the polish and touch it up myself. It's better to pay a little more somewhere else than go there. The staff is rude and talks shit about you in their language. Even if you don't understand you can tell. I went twice to this place. The first time was OK, a little rushed but still my feet were taken care off and looked good. I am not trying to bond with my technician but I treat them with respect and expect respect in return. The second time I went I had the manly looking technician with the short hair. The place was empty on this Monday afternoon but she seemed upset she was asked to do my pedicure. She handled my fee roughly and kept mumbling under her breath. After she was done scrubbing my feet she threw the pumice stone in the water so hard it splashed all over me.She applied oil to my legs and didn't massage it in. Not EVER again. 5 min pedicure, feet in water long enough to get wet. Lady handed me menu I told her basic. She gave me the worst 5 min pedicure ever, she talked about my feet trying to get me to purchase a product for $20. When I asked why she didn't allow my feet to soak she said we only perform 5 min pedicure for basic customers who pay $22. She was very rude and when I declined manicure she basically gave me her but to kiss. The shop was empty, no one waiting for srrvice. BELIEVE THE REVIEWS HERE. I have to say, I agree with most of the reviews already posted, I was in the area for the day, and this place is normally not my go to place for eyebrows, but I figured I would try it. I walked in- and was not even greeted, I was standing there for several minutes without acknowledgement from the staff. Finally, someone came toward the front desk because he had to finish a transaction at the counter and acted as though I was a bother. If I could give zero, I would! I wish I would have read the reviews before I set foot in there, but it was an emergency. First off I was told I'd have to wait 30 minutes, not really a problem, I had coffee and a book, I was a walk-in. But after 10 minutes a woman calls me back, no greeting, no mention of names and has me sit down. She starts sanding my nails down to remove the dip and is immediately kicked off by another woman, who quickly sands them down and haphazardly wraps my nails with attitude, as if I am inconveniencing her by coming to a sail salon to get my nails done. First Lady comes back and starts the process, I should have stopped and left when she stared staring at the bottles and looking at each one. But I figured everyone is learning and hey she may be new give her a chance. Big mistake! She'd jump from hand to hand nail to nail. I kept telling her there was a hair on my finger, she said she didn't see it and would not acknowledge the hair sticking straight up. After my nails are dipped l, by which there is not cutting of cuticles no cleaning or removing of gel from under my nails I'm drying my nails. The only male comes up and says. "Can you pay now? I need to pick up my girlfriend" while my nails are still wet mind you, He picks up my purse and attempts to reach into my purse to take out my wallet!!!! Are you serious?! I say I got it. With wet nails I grab my wallet and attempt to get my card, since I'm trying to not mess up my nails I'm taking too long. He again tries to reach for my wallet. I'm like I've got it. So, nails messed up. Done by a technician who did not know what she was doing. You can make suggestions and ask for what you'd like but they will fight you on it. Do not ever go there!! Worst place ever!! Also extremely dirty... they expected me to walk, barefoot, from the pedicure station to the manicure station on the filthy floor. The woman doing my nails was absent minded, hardly paying attention. And then she left -- walked away without saying a WORD -- without even putting on a top coat. I did it myself!! First and last time I will go to this salon. The nail tech had already filled the tub with water and it was cold. I asked to have it emptied and refilled with hot water (which was done). The place was not especially clean and very little air conditioning, also not well lit. Not sure if utensils were put in autoclave or not. Worst pedicure ever! My husband and I went for pedi's on our date night. Rushed through it. They torn my husbands toe nail which is now infected and required treatment and a round of antibiotics. Then they tried to up sell my husband on a more expensive pedi after I specifically told them what we wanted. They talked in their mandarin language and laughed the entire time making us feel uncomfortable. Our feet soaked less than 2 minutes before they hacked away...we will never go back. read more

Very unprofessional and when my sister and I approached the tech to explain that we did not like the service she pretty much shrugged her shoulders. We got the worst pedicure ever and worst of all we came out the same way we walked in except with different toe nail colors and oil smeared all over our legs. OK... I did not read the reviews first. So I have no one to blame but myself. I don't need the extra comment about my nail-beds being large. Or my feet being large! I'm not Asian... It was all I could do to remain and not walk out. I spoke my mind but I don't think I was understood. Or more than likely she just didn't care. Wow. I could not tell who the client was. My self indulgent day turned into an extremely frustrating experience. The customer service and quality of service after all that was just as bad. I've been here before and would not recommend this place to anyone. They always rush you, they did a horrible job on my eyebrows and continuously cut my cuticles and mess them up. Awful! This place is horrible!!! I am new to the area and I saw this place and used it to have a fill-in UV Gel. First off, the Gel product they used was watered down. The Gel product was so watery and cheap it seemed as if he coated my nail with clear polish. Once I walked out into the sun my nail polish began to ripple. When I went back to complain and have it re-done the male tech had a nasty attitude and refused to get me the products original bottle. I will never use this place again. Poor customer service and poor craftsmanship.Found Nail trix and asked for my nails to be trimmed down and she chopped them down. She then cut me with the electric file and told me it happened because my hand was too wide. When she finished filing, I looked at my nails and they looked like a five year old had done them. I asked her to shape them better and she said they were too short. So I had to finish shaping my own nails before polish. The polish job was like the work of a two year old! I went for nail fill and repair of two nails with corners chipped. I was highly disappointed in the low quality fill job Whuy did. First thing she did was insult the job my regular manicurist did in Cali. Long story short, she has very low skills in repairs. My nails look like crap. So I came to this shop on a whim because I had gotten my hair done at bubbles on a time crunch and this place was next door. This was a horrible decision. When I came in it took a while for anyone to greet me despite the fact that the place was not full. The choices of nail polish is also very limited. I got a pedicure and a french manicure. When I went back to get the pedicure the lady who did my nails had filled the tub up with cold water that was freezing when I put my feet in. Instead of letting enough water out to fill it with warmer water she barely let any out and then put in minimal warm water. So I got to soak my feet in barely lukewarm water. The lighting in the back is terrible so I couldn't tell until after I left that she had only done one coat of polish on my toes and in the sunlight you could see that the job she did was shabby. With the french manicure I let her convince me to do the gel polish because I wanted it to last longer. My nails were long and I had her cut them. She cut them unevenly and did a poor job shaping. She then applied the polish along the uneven cut causing it to look crooked. When I pointed this out to her she told me that that was my nail and wouldn't fix it until I kept insisting that she know my nail did not look like that when I came in. Three of the nails the polish was not flat but had bumps in it and two of my nails had black spots underneath which the lady refused to fix. My nails did not look professionally done despite the $32 that they charged me just for the french manicure. I will never return to this place. read more

I had a pedicure, gel fill, and eye brows. Pedicure was ok. The lady that did my gel fill was older. First she had me to shake dust and nail waste in the fan to blow off my hand. Normally you wash your hands. Hand nails done here before and wanted to try again. The first time they were half done and the nail wasn't painted to the end leaving a white mark of unpainted nail. So the lady applied the fill and I had to tell her that my nails were very rough. She then buffed them. Something that you're suppose to do anyway. I never washed my hands as she said that it wasn't necessary. She never used the small nail file on the inside of the nail. So the nail is slightly yellow when you look under the nail bed. She then didn't listen and applied the wrong color. She had to take it off and apply the right color. I then went to get my eyebrow arched. I told her NO WAX..just tweeze and cleanup. What do you think she did? She used waxed. I had to yell at her to stop. When she finished half my eyebrows were gone and very thin. I have and wear thick eyebrows. She said "no charge". Really after you just messed up my eyebrows. The she charged me $65.00. As I was walking out, another lady there ran back $10.00 to me because I was over charged. I will not return to this salon. They need a lot of training. My nails are half painted on the side and my eyebrows are messed up. They don't have a lot of colors also. Very limited. Stay away this place is terrible!
