Short, square, neutral EXACTLY as asked. Thumbs up. (Ha!)
    Meredith D.

Let's go over the "No"s. Not uber fancy. No booze. No dual tips, whatever those are. No dismissive attitudes or inattention. If your "Yes"es include WELL DONE, not CRAZY CRAY CRAY-type nails, pedis, wax & threading by down to earth people at a decent price, THIS IS your place. They have 6 nail stations and 7 pedicure chairs with massage. There are eleventybillion colors and MOST are stocked in gel and regular polish. They keep those go-to, industry standard colors in stock and order the newest, seasonal releases. I'm usually a short, square, neutral gal, but they will embellish me when I get a wild hair; stiletto, coffin, long, ombré, chrome, etc. There are a lot of clients like me who have standing appointments. There are normally 6-8 nail technicians working. They usually get walk ins seated within 5-30 minutes. If they can't, they won't lie to you and have you waiting around for an hour. They'll give you the best time to return and put you in the book. If you are reading this and decide to head their way, it's best to shoot them a call first. They'll most likely get you in and the heads up is appreciated.....better than arriving and being disappointed. The frustration wouldn't be one-sided. I know they hate turning people away. If all else fails, tell them you read Meredith's Yelp review and I wager they'll fit you in somehow. All the ladies are skilled. If you have ingrown toenails or tough skin/scar tissue, ask if Lynn or Raichel is available to your pedicure. I'm currently enjoying some post-pedi massage chair bliss while waiting to have my eyebrows threaded. I lady JUST walked in, received a welcome, and asked if she could get a pedicure. She was immediately seated in a pedicure chair and Kim is already getting to work. 'Nough said. Go get pretty.

Amy is wonderful and gives the very best massages!

Amy was meticulous and friendly; took me without an appointment for a spa pedi - $30. Having a past injury on my left big toe, she provided the utmost care and gentle touch, as not to injure it further. Warmth from all nail technicians, and highly accommodating towards your every need. Nice having the Disney Channel playing on the overhead TV with movies to watch. I'll definitely be back for more pedi's!

Not sure how I spent $45.00. BRB crying.

My pictures can explain the review. $45.00 I really don't want to complain and I just left because I don't get my nails done often and it's that special thing I do for myself rarely. I just felt like I spent so much money and it was the saddest looking nails walking out

We were looking for a new pedicure spot and came across this place in Yelp. Took a chance and this place exceeded expectations! Showed up early and they got us set up right away. The massage chairs work and are comfy! Hannah took her time with my pedicure. And they didn't rush us at all!

    Chipped thumb 4/21

Hate to give this place a 1 star but my experiences here have been declining. The complaint is re: my gel mani - nail technician was E filling my nails - burned so badly I told her to stop. Then when she finished my gel manicure she did not paint to my cuticle. Had my nails done this past Thursday 4/18 and it's now Sunday 4/21 - gel has chipped. For a $40 gel manicure this is unacceptable.

Started popping off a few days before... only 3 days after the mani.
    Anne B.

UPDATE: Response to Rachel Cheung, Manager The implication that I'm making all of this up just to get a freebie is... disrespectful. Why would I drop $60 on a mani, then spend my 2-week vacation "picking" off the nails or hitting them so hard they pop off? Mani was on April 1. I was on vacation April 2 - 17. Calling during vacation is out of the question. Didn't get to call you until April 20 because I was working. That's why I took pics along the way... during April 2-17... so I could show what happened when I got back to LA. Your unwillingness to consider that maybe your tech just did a poor job speaks volumes about how the salon is run. It happens to the best of salons; there's no shame in that. The shame is ultimately on how a business chooses to handle it. Enough said.

Cracked and chipped gel & In 2 days.
    Martha O.

I happened to be in the area on Saturday & needed a gel manicure & a pedicure. Today is Monday and I did absolutely nothing all weekend and my thumb gel nail is cracked and chipped and 2 other nails are cracked in the gel. I noticed they had 2 sets of polishes- looks like they use cheap on walking & the good for the regulars. $70 down the drain. My ties look horrible & my hands look awful!

    After 10 days acrylic
    Tiffany A.

I want to like this nail shop. They have ALL the colors you ever need and it made me so happy to see all the 10 shades of nudes and 10 shades of pink in order right NEXT to each other to compare instead of having to flip through all the little samples in a random order that a lot of nail shops around here do.... So the pros: huge variety of organized colors (kudos to that), clean shop with newer massage chairs, and a punch card (after 10 visits, you get 10$ off) I am solely reviewing on my acrylic nail full set. My technician was good, detailed oriented and also quick. The acrylic process here doesn't involve the usual powder painting process, it's more of a gel extension where they put on the acrylic and paint on a thick layer of glue (don't quote me on this exact terminology) -- and you put each finger into LED light -- this is the part that sucks because you start to feel a HEAVY burning sensation after 5 secs of the light which seems to be a very normal step of the process cuz my technician was like "oh when it starts to burn just take your hand out and shake your hand" and yes it worked, but I had to do that for every finger. I was very pleased with the way it looked after so it was fine but man, if you don't have a high pain tolerance.. not sure if this process is for you. They are very meticulous on their regular gel manis as everyone else seemed to be regulars in the store for that, so if you're looking to for a good selection of colors, pop in for that ----but I'm an acrylic, long nail coffin type of girl. Not sure if I'll be back for acrylics as one broke after 10 days. Oh yeah, parking here is no bueno. It's in a small parking lot with a lot of other businesses.

    Karla E.

Went in last week and got gel x by Wednesday they started popping off after 2 days of getting them done, wasn't able to get them fixed right away because the girl isn't there every day and I was going to be out of town, went back the following Monday and the girl did my dip still charged me full price and was asking the whole time if I had popped off my nails. To top it off the gel on the new set has started lifting. I'm a usual customer but after this don't think I'll be going back such a bad experience.

Chipping nails the day after a gel mani
    Kelly B.

Everyone is friendly there and they have lots of polish colors. I paid $80 for a gel mani/pedi and all I got was gel polish, nail trim/file and cuticle cut. No scrub, no lotion, no massage. I wasn't offered any additional services (extra massage, deluxe pedi, callous scrub, etc) which Ive never had happen anywhere before, they always show you your pedicure/manicure options (basic, deluxe, etc.) but I guess they don't offer those services. The other thing is noticed was people leaving and no one sanitizing where they were sitting. I saw this happen to unknowing 3 people. Do we no longer care about basic cleanliness? I will probably never return even though I can walk there because the best part of the pedicure, to me, is the massage! Update: day after the manicure and the nails are already chipping and the lack of cuticle care is obvious.

I visited Haley's Nails Salon on Mother's Day weekend and overall I'd give my experience a 3/5…read more I called around 3 p.m. asking if they had availability. At first I was told 4 p.m., then it got pushed to 4:30, which was totally fine. When I arrived, the salon was pretty packed, which I expected because of Mother's Day. I got the $39 classic pedicure with callus removal, and overall the pedicure itself was nice. The process just felt a little rushed. They still did the massage and hot towel, but everything moved pretty quickly, as the lady kept saying her back hurt, which I understand considering how busy they were. For my acrylic nails, I showed a reference picture. They didn't have the exact color from the photo, which honestly wasn't a problem for me. My main request was short, very square nails. Unfortunately, it felt like my request for shorter nails was more of a hassle than anything. Since I was one of the last clients there and the owner was doing my nails, it honestly seemed rushed toward the end of the appointment. I didn't notice everything right away because I left around 6:30 and headed to the store afterward. Once I really looked at my nails, I noticed several issues. Some nails are different lengths and sizes, some look crooked, and the shape came out more rounded/"duck nail" style instead of the short square shape I asked for. I'll be including pictures for reference. My total before tip came out to $104 and then to $107 after a $3 card charge that wasn't disclosed beforehand. I still left a $25 tip because I understand how busy and stressful holiday weekends can be. In total, I paid $132, which makes it more disappointing considering I'm not happy with the acrylic set itself. I understand acrylic can only be corrected so much once it's already done, so I didn't feel like there was much that could realistically be fixed afterward. At this point, I'll just wait for them to grow out. Would I return? Probably for a pedicure. Would I get acrylics here again? Most likely not. I think this experience was more of a lesson for me personally that acrylics may just not be for me anymore. Overall, not a horrible experience, but I wasn't satisfied with the final nail result, especially for the price, so I'd give this salon a solid 2/5.

So glad to Yelp and find a highly rated nail salon within walking distance across the street from TJ. We made an online reso the night before. We walked in at 11 am and quickly greeted by Jenny (I think). We already had an idea of the type of gel and design we wanted. Jenny and Lily were thorough with the pre polish. Taking their time to file and remove cuticles and hand nails. I don't think any salon has ever taken this much time before. They also buffed out our nail bed for smooth application. DD has a cat eye gel which she was so fascinated with. Jenny matched the color of the picture spot on. Also, I wanted a leopard print design. Lily did the red on alternating fingers and Jenny did the actual design. Wow. So impressed that she did this bloom gel technique that matches the picture I showed her too. Even the base of the tan was spot on. So impressed with the whole experience and couldn't be happier. It's been 5 days and both our manicures look pretty fresh still. I am now a believer of gel manicure and will only be doing them vs regular manicures from now on thanks to this salon. If I lived down here, this would definitely be my go to nail salon.

The ladies were so nice that my friend ended up getting a gel manicure, deviating from her die hard nail tech who works in Chino Hills. The lady who did my friend's manicure was so kind that she asked for her when we came back today. It was not the same lady who did her manicure last time and this time, we had the complete opposite experience. Also, the lady who did my friend's manicure last time was significantly younger and kinder. My pedicure came out just fine and the lady was kind enough. But Elsa who did my friend's manicure was an absolute nightmare. My friend uses her natural nails and wanted them almond shaped with a slightly more narrow point. Not stiletto, just slightly more tapered. The woman who did her nails last time nailed it. Elsa not so much. She ranted and raved about her nails and said she could not make them "pointy". My friend didn't ask for pointy or stiletto, just tapered. The issue was Elsa's tone and demeanor. She was blatantly rude about having to shape her nails. She was loud and condescending to the point where the kind woman working on her pedicure had to tell her to stop in English, and just give her what she asked for her. After that Elsa was just a bitch. Point, blank, period. She began talking loudly in Vietnamese to her coworkers, holding up my friend's hands and laughing. When it came time for my friend to pick the color, Elsa became louder and more rude. She kept speaking in Vietnamese and only saying "bubble bath" in English because my friend wanted a light pink color. My friend even inquired about the nail color Elsa was wearing because it looked pretty and said it's MY NAIL COLOR! My friend was confused because it didn't make sense. Eventually I intercepted to ask and we were able to figure out that it was a color she had at home which didn't make sense because why tf wouldn't you have a color in the salon? To sum it up, ELSA ruined the experience of Camay nails and now I will tell everyone (including whomever is reading this) I know to NOT go there which is a shame because every other nail lady was lovely. Shoutout the kind lady who did my friend's pedicure and told Elsa to shut the hell up.

The day OF less than an hour before my new appt time and pushed it an hour. Ok fine whatever Lisa is (I'm assuming) the owner and the receptionist interrupted three times to ask what they should tell customers throughout my appointment. She immediately told me we couldn't do builder gel because my nails were too short. Okay, I'll keep being flexible. I had chosen a design and showed.explained it to Lisa. She expressed that one of the colors I chose might be too sheer for the intended purpose, which was correct. I asked her to help me find an alternative that was lighter than the example picture. She brought me a few colors that were continuously darker. I decided to go with a solid color instead of the design I came in wanting. One of the other employees made a comment in Vietnamese that I was being difficult with my color selections. I did not engage. This did put me off vibewise though that they were busy enough to push peoples appointments, but that I couldn't ask for what I wanted to pay for. I then canceled my pedicure. Overall, the gel-x nails we did instead look nice and the price ($70) is pretty fair for the surrounding areas. I was just disappointed in the way I kept feeling put off as a paying customer.
