I brought my daughter in for a kids manicure and asked if they could do a cute Paris-themed design with stickers--and they absolutely nailed it (pun intended)! From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm, clean, and relaxing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Alice was incredibly patient and sweet with my daughter--she took her time picking out the stickers and made sure each nail looked perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My daughter left beaming with her tiny Eiffel Towers, hearts, and macarons on each finger. They were super accommodating and professional, and the attention to detail was better than some adult salons I've been to. The manicure lasted well, even with all the usual kid activity--no peeling for over a week! Highly recommend for anyone looking for creative, high-quality service in a cozy, welcoming space. Whether it's for yourself or a little one, Nails by Aloha is absolutely worth it.

What an amazing place. Very cute environment. But most of all [[HIGHLIGHT]]I felt comfortable asking the owner to redo my nail.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She happily fixed the cat eye and now I love it so much. I've been here 3 times now, and the service is inconsistent. The first 2 times were great, especially with Akane who was amazing. I booked again with her even though I had to wait a few days for her to be available. The day of [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was asked if I could delay my appointment a bit via text[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and when I arrived [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was given random nail techs without any heads-up or explanation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My nails were trimmed down to the quick, despite me saying to only cut a little. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I reached out to management after my appointment and was left on read.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A day later my fingers still hurt enough to interfere with daily tasks like doing dishes. Not sure I'd come back.

I love this Salon! I've been coming here for a couple months now, and they always do a great job. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have easy online booking, and are always ready for your appt, no waiting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They do my nails exactly how I like, and the best part is that it's small so there's not a ton of people like some other salons. It's nice and quiet too. It's right next to a mechanic shop which is what swayed me to try it at first, but it is a family that owns both businesses so it works well! I may even try to get an oil change next time I need to while I get my nails done.

I have been going to Alice before she opened her shop in Hollywood. This is her second location that just opened, and I know that with her work ethic, it will be amazing. She is very thoughtful of the clients, and her massages are amazing. She has grown her team of nail technitians, and they have their own specialties. I love this beautiful, peaceful & wonderful nail salon - it really is a gem & I am so happy I discovered it. this is my second time at aloha and i have to say, i'm so glad alice decided to open a location here in la crescenta. first of all, alice is everything you want in a nail tech, she's kind, attentive, caring, and skilled at her job. also, the salon is clean, welcoming, and cute. i could tell alice took time to consider what pieces she wanted to use to decorate her shop. the booking process is super easy and the location is easy to find. the salon shares a space with an auto shop so just keep that in mind when you pull up. alice is genuine, radiates positivity, and is extremely hard working. i've been wandering and hoping to find my regular nail spot and i can confidently say, i've ended my search. now i understand the customers who have come back to alice year after year. read more

I would like to keep this place a secret because it's honestly amazing. Finding a nail salon that focuses on providing excellent and quality service in this area is very difficult. I've been driving to Chatsworth for the past 6 months. Ruzze was very detailed with my gel-x nails and made sure that it matched my fingers. Alice did an amazing job with my pedicure. They were both very detailed and careful and meticulous. Will def come back. read more

I've been going to Alice since she was working from another salon in 2021. Since then she's opened not one but two of her own locations, which should tell you something about how amazing her work is! She turned me on to apres gel nails after my regular gel manis had completely stripped my nails. Now my real nails are strong and healthy. She's professional, courteous, and always excited to show the new colors and designs she gets in. I love how relaxing the space in La Crescenta is too. Decided to try a new salon with my friends from work for a girls day. I knew something was wrong when the woman doing my pedicure refused to scrub my feet. Never in my life has this ever happened to me before. She refused to use the "callous remover" which is just the foot grater because my very normal dry skin was not a "callous" I did not have anything crazy going on with my feet, just some regular dry skin that could have been easily removed with a pumice block or the grater. She refused. Like I said, never in my life have I heard anything this absurd at any salon I've ever been to around the world. After the woman refused to scrub my feet, I decided I would let her give me a simple French gel manicure, NOT gelx, NOT extensions, a very short length on my natural nails. This woman tried to charge me $110 for a natural nail manicure with gel polish. $110 for a gel manicure is ASININE. I gave her $80 and left. Never going back. I went to my regular salon immediately after I left this place and got the best pedicure as usual. I will stick with my regular salon where I can get a gel manicure AND pedicure for $70 and where I know they don't have a problem scrubbing my feet. read more

I was getting my nails done by Kathy and my pedicures by Cindy. Everything was great there were…read moretimes where I did need to go back and get my nails redone because the chrome fell off or things of that nature and they were willing to fix it. I went had my nails done paid $110 and the chrome was falling off so I sent Kathy a message and we reschedule rescheduled for her to fix. When I got there, she wanted to redo the same nail polish. I told her no showed her a different design, but she insisted on doing the same design. Kept saying she didn't have time I explained that I didn't have time to keep coming back and that I had a graduation that night. I didn't like it at the end. She got upset. It took a lot longer than she wanted. I explained to her that I did not want it in the first place she shouldn't have done it. I showed her what I wanted because I wasn't trusting that that design was gonna come off again. She got highly upset after she made the mistake as if it was my fault. I'm only writing this review because I really enjoyed going there and I really enjoyed getting my nails done with her one of the ladies there comes and tapped me on the shoulder and tells me that Kathy doesn't have time and I told her she's gonna do it because I paid her already. She explained that I will no longer be allowed to get my nails done there all of this because she made the mistake redid them twice not what I wanted, was late to her next appointment because she didn't listen to me in the first place. when I first got there at 9 AM and she didn't get there till 915 almost 920 to start my nails. I guess her being late was my fault too so even though I was kind, never rude did not yell kept my calm, I was told that I was not allowed to get my nails done there any longer that Kathy said she would no longer do my nails again because my designs take too long and it was to much for her. she made the mistakes and did not properly apply the polish, she admitted that to me. somehow I was to blame, so I'm giving them a one star for their customer service and for telling me not to come back to the shop because my nails take too long and it was to much for her to deal with my nails. I love getting designs and it is her fault that the polish was coming off. I had to get it off my chest. I was so upset I have never been told I could not go back to shop I've gotten designs by her that lasted four weeks never had an issue so all of this was very surprising to me after I was so kind to them. Great tips good laughs and they treat me this way. I guess that's how nail shops do it nowadays they don't like you or your designs are too much for them to deal with they ask you not to come back. When I arrived, I was greeted up front and sat down for my pedicure. As soon as I put my feet in the water, it started burning. I told the lady it burns and asked if she could change the water. She tapped my foot and said no and told me to put it back in. After that, it became clear they didn't want to do the acrylic work, even though I called ahead. About five ladies surrounded my feet and kept repeating "gel" and "acrylic" for several minutes while talking to each other and laughing. The lady doing my toes then said they couldn't charge it as a fill and that it had to be a full set. I told her, "Wait, this is a full set." She mumbled and told me to ask the lady next to her, so I did, and that lady said, "Okay, just do a fill." Then I asked how much acrylic would be. They all started talking to each other and ignored me. After a few minutes I asked again, and one of the ladies looked at me and said, "We will not tell you right now. We will let you know." That made me feel like they were keeping the price vague so they could charge me more than what my fill actually should be. At that point I said never mind and walked out. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had at a nail salon, and it made me extremely uncomfortable. I will never go back. I truly wish I could give this place 0 stars--they do not know how to treat people. Even some of the ladies in the salon told me I wasn't wrong for leaving.
