My pedicure with an acrylic fill and French tip was pure perfection! The painting was flawless and the massage left my feet feeling brand new. (Feet finder ready! lol jk) The salon was spotless and the customer service was amazing friendly, professional, and attentive from start to finish. My boyfriend got a pedicure too and loved the deep clean and precise nail trimming. Overall it was a five-star experience: clean, relaxing, and beautifully done. I'll definitely be coming back! Actually we'll be coming back. Also keep in mind that parking is a little difficult given that it is located on a main street so give yourself extra time.

They even made my short stumpy hand look nice with short nails!

Came here for the first time today as a walk-in for a gel manicure/pedicure! I've never had such precision service as I have received here today. I was offered refreshments and a complete price list up front for services to choose from. Bee was very thoughtful and took her time with my pedicure as it had been a while... and my manicure was on point as well! Overall I would highly recommend this salon as it's clean, staff are very attentive, prices are comparable to other places but the service makes this place stand out! Thank you so much for my visit today! Please tip generously because they do not disappoint !

Ambiance is 5 stars! Louie's pedicure 5 stars. So glad I tried this place. It is located on a block with other nail shops. So I assume competition is fierce. The owner "Kelly" was quick to answer all my questions via text. She was welcoming & friendly. However appeared nervous and she kept talking to Louie & making him nervous. Not sure if she was rushing him or what. Which felt uncomfortable. She did it often in my 60 minutes. Then while he was painting my toenails she rushed over & reached under my legs by an inch or so to pull plastic tub cover out from the bowl. Hello! My toes are getting painted... And the kicker was no customer came in after that. So it wasn't necessary. She didn't need my chair. That's the reason I gave 4 stars. I do feel bad; she got her incense holder, incense, offerings & platter stolen & broken while I was getting my feet done. Which probably put her on edge. I think her shop is the busiest because she cares so much. I really like my pedicure from Louie!

I was in dire need of a last-minute nail appointment for New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. I messaged the shop on Yelp the evening of 12/30 and was promptly responded to by Kelly who was able to squeeze me in on New Year's Eve morning. While on the phone, Kelly was very informative about the parking situation and what types of payment they take (cash, card, Zelle, Venmo). She was a very appreciative of my business and look forward to seeing me the next day. Upon arrival I was nicely greeted and sat promptly asking what I would like to drink, which was so nice. The nail tech I happen to get was VY, which I had heard great things about so I was very excited. I showed some inspo photos to VY and she began her work. As she was doing her work she was walking me through her steps and reassuring what her process was and always making sure that I was satisfied with the shape and nail color. When it came to doing the flowers on my nails she suggested adding little vines so it wouldn't look so bare and I agreed so she added them on. She was not pushy at all, if anything she mentioned that if I ultimately did not like it, we can easily remove it and keep my nails as is. I really loved her suggestion and kept it. She was very easy-going. VY was also very efficient and fast with her work, but not rushing at all, again she took her time and always made sure that I was satisfied with my nails. My appointment was at 10:45am, I got seated promptly and I was out by 11:40am. As I was checking out, there was another customer in front of me who was about to leave, and Kelly asked her where she had parked. Kelly offered to walk her to her car with an umbrella since it was drizzling outside. Although the customer politely declined, Kelly was adamant that she walk her to her car so that she wouldn't get wet. That customer, myself, and even a customer who was getting their pedicure were in awe of the service Kelly was giving! Not only that, but I had mentioned about some unfortunate family situation of mine and Kelly was so sweet to give her condolences and give a hug as well, lol! Overall, my manicure experience was fantastic and the customer service was impeccable. I did not get a pedicure, but I would assume it's just as good. I definitely will be coming back to this spot. I do want to mention that this shop is on the main San Pablo Rd. so as others have mentioned, please give yourself enough time to find parking.

I had an amazing experience! Kelly was straight business, keeping clients moving while still greeting everyone with a beautiful smile. Tony did my feet so good, I felt so relaxed I could've fallen asleep right there! And VY did my nails in literally 30 minutes the design is absolutely TEA! I think I finally found my new nail shop! Not only are they talented, but their prices are affordable too. Everyone was professional, welcoming, and worked their magic. If you're looking for a nail shop that delivers quality, great customer service, and beautiful results, this is the place!

I've been getting my nails done by Vy for 6 months now. She is meticulous and I always leave with a perfect manicure. Vy shows me all the cool new products and colors and it's always fun deciding what to get. Kelly always greets me when I arrive at the salon and offers me a mimosa or other beverage. These folks are great! Unlike some salons, they're actually really nice and friendly. Kelly greets you with a glass of mimosa, tea,water, or hot chocolate. I think Kim is the best gel, dip, etc manicurist there. But everyone is good. Be sure to make an appointment if you don't want to wait, but walk ins are welcome. Highly recommend. read more

Got my nails done here and I don't have much to say I saw all the reviews and thought it would be a great spot however walked out disappointed my nails looked like my skin tone after I specifically asked for pink and to top it off the design did not look like what I asked for and it didn't look good it's okay if you don't want a design but if you do don't recommend. read more

I came in asking to get my acrylic nails removed and just put nail polish. This lady was fine at the beginning but then she took out a nail to use to REMOVE THE ACRYLIC and had my nail bleeding doing it!!! Horrible service. Told the lady that if she works a nail salon she needs to learn how to remove it or else what was the point of me coming to a nail salon when I could've done that at home. I walked out. Never coming back here. read more

I called today as a walk-in and they had availability. C did my pedi. She was nice and definitely paid attention to detail. I had to ask her to apply more pressure with my massage and she did. She checked in a couple times to make sure I was happy with her technique on my french tipped toe nails :) The space is open and looks like clean. I would've given 5 stars for my experience but the pumice bar looked visibly used and worn. I also didn't see anyone sanitizing their tools. I would come back, maybe bring in my own kit. The lady next to me asked me if I did them myself after sending 2hrs and 30 mins getting my nails filed they are extra thick and sloppy and it shows my second time coming definitely will be my last time they have way too much clientele to be making such bad mistakes read more

This place is a Gem. The owner, Andy is a true business owner and went out of his way to ensure I enjoyed the service. The chairs are comfortable, hygiene is great and it felt spotless compared to other salons. Annie and Maya are great. Maya is an artist and did an amazing French mani on my tiny nails. Design was horrible! I wanted a French tip and they were so uneven and super chunky. I asked if that was the way they were supposed to look and the nail tech told me they looked fine even after telling her I didn't like them. Not happy! Super over priced as well! read more

Kelly and her team are amazing. Their skills as technicians and customer service are top notch. I've been to all of the "top" salons and I haven't been happier and more pleased than with the results at Nails by Ken. As a carpenter I my hands and nails go through a lot of abuse, every time I go in, the care given to my hands and nails are non comparable. That's not to mention that my nails still look perfect two weeks after gel application, and that's after two weeks of construction work and constant abuse to my nails. Again I can't stress the quality of work Kelly and her team produce, not only do they look amazing but they also last. The same goes for the care and attention they give to my 6 year old daughter, and even her nails after two weeks of school, play, sports, and judo her nails still look amazing. That's not to mention that they have one of the best selection of gel nail color selections. There's no other nail salon I'd consider after coming here. My girlfriend also loves this location and when she got her nail art done she was more pleased than she ever has been, she got jewels applied to her nails during her manicure and couldn't have been happier. Also their massage chairs and overall ambience is just what I'm looking for in a nail salon, for me, it doesn't need to be some gaudy over the top decor, their space is intimate and cute and very welcoming, exactly what I want. read more

I want this new owner to use more sanitary measures. The same pumice stone that was used on a customer before it was used on me is problematic. I don't want a tool that has someone else's dead skin on it to touch me. Even though the blue plastic bags are used during pedicures, they should still wipe down the bowl before the next customer is seated there. Lastly, after my pedicure, I got a full set. Why was the monomer cloudy and dirty from prior clients? This should be changed after each customer. Also, don't just pick up the same nail tools to use with each customer without disinfecting and sanitizing them. This includes, nail files, clippers, etc. No one wants a nail or fungal infection. Each customer should be provided with sanitized tools for every treatment. I will revisit in a few weeks to see if any of these concerns are improved. If they are, I'll remove this review. If they aren't, I'm notifying the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. read more

I needed to find a place to quickly remove my gel and extensions. I found Classy Nails while running some errands in the area and couldn't be happier with the service. The staff truly wants you to be comfortable and well taken care off. People that work there are super nice and they have good prices. Definitely recommend! read more

Clean nail shop, friendly staff, and the towels are super clean! I hope they stay that way. There are so many nail shops with filthy towels. Towels are bright white here. Service was quick but good. Not a large selection of colors but they have every color you'd mostly want. read more

Every time I come here the staff is super accommodating and prompt. I've heard them on the phone with customers and the owner is always very sweet and upfront about wait times/walk-in status etc. My go to is a gel mani/pedi and I always feel very well taken care of. Highly recommend! read more

She did everything I needed her to do. I had her remove shellac and clean my nails. I like that she coated my nails with some nail strengthener at the end. She gave a very good hand massage, I wanted to fall asleep it was perfect. Service was gentle and clean! She did a nice job shaping and cutting my cuticles. Not bad for $23 read more

Worst manicure I ever had. The polish was uneven and literally took 5 hrs to harden, by which time 5 of my nails were ruined. Lasted less than 24 hrs til I had to remove it. It might be just bad luck. read more

Loved the time that both of the women here took with my nails. They were kind, gentle and put a lot of care into my time there! I had recently been to a competitor a couple storefronts down; they were rough - made me bleed and pushed me out before my toes were dry. I love the customer service and kindness at Classy Nails! I had my doctor send my scripts to Amazon Pharmacy, and they were delivered to my door in TWO DAYS. This is not an ad for Amazon Pharmacy. I mention this because of the comparative efficiency. Imagine not being able to get life-saving medication because your pharmacy is ignoring calls and canceling medication orders with no explanation. I'm done with this place.

Then I was given a price for a 30-Day supply since it is generic and is a tier 1 drug on the prescription plan. I was told it would be $17.00 and some cents. I approved that, and heard nothing. I even offered to pay in advance for the 30-day supply so I could pursue the steps required to get my 90-day supply through the pharmacies my insurance company wants me to use. They wanted me to use Costco or CVS for 90-days. They said they will fill the prescription for 30-days and let me pay when i pick it up. I heard nothing. I went back the following day since I had no pills left and that was when it all started. The pharmacist who I believe is Hispanic is a female dog trying to guard her puppies. She is totally unprofessional and needs to be fired. Her customer service skills are lacking, and i have worked in customer service for 35 years. Anywhere else where I have worked, she would have been fired and shown the door. Totally ghetto attitude. She even had the nerve to tell me that my business was not welcome, and that she did not want me shopping in the store. Then she told me that she does not want any more of my prescription business in her pharmacy. I can see why my insurance company does not want to use Walgreens after talking to this lady here. Her attitude is causing people and insurance companies to go elsewhere. I reported all of this to Walgreens corporate and documented all of it. They gave me a case number. I also reported it to my doctor who gave me the prescription that I was getting filled here at this pharmacy. My doctor sent another prescription over to CVS. CVS filled it and there was no problem there. CVS also told me what they were doing wrong at Walgreens because they were able to look it all up in the pharmacy data base that all pharmacies have access to. CVS also said I have the right to have it filled and pay out of pocket and not to use my insurance because it all shows up in the data base regardless of who pays. So if you try and go elsewhere and get another bottle you can't because they can see you already had filled it somewhere else. This pharmacy here is turning away business. Lost business is lost profit for the store and Walgreens Corporate. Walgreens needs to get busy and fire this lady quickly. She is sabotaging the business here and is turning away customers who are the very people who bring in the revenue for the store and company. She needs to have her pharmacy license revoked and she should not be working with medicine at all period. This store is trashy, dirty, and the parking lot is always dirty. Total filth here too. There is no cleaning going on here at this store. The corporation needs to close it completely. The CVS in Pinole is better run and a much cleaner store. I have another prescription here which I will be having transferred to CVS when it is due for a refill which is also automatic. I am also going to ask that doctor to give me another prescription for 90 days and not 30 as well and have it filled at CVS. Walgreens has lost me as a customer for life. There will be no more shopping in any of their stores anymore. My business is not important to them. Management hires rude people who mistreat customers and are very coarse and rude. They don't want my money. Walgreens is going to face the same fate that Rite Aid did. They will be going out of business.

Nobody crowding me in next to three other people either. It was calm, it was peaceful, it actually felt relaxing instead of stressful. And the cleanliness. Towels were fresh, equipment looked properly cleaned, none of that murky blue water sitting in a dirty container that's clearly been there for who knows how long. Even the bathroom was clean, and that alone tells you a lot about how a place is really run. I have been a client at Nails By Ken for a while now. It broke my heart to make the decision to remove my nails. We are having our house renovated/remodeled so we had to move out to. I broke a few nails during our move and my nail technician actually advise me to remove my nails until we were done with moving. I was surprised because this is how she earned her bread and butter, yet at the same time I gained a greater respect for her to know that she wasn't all about the money, but actually cared about me! I cannot say enough about the professionalism, artistic nature the technicians have and the warmth that I feel when I enter this salon. How nice everyone treats you and the friendliness of all the technicians whether they are attending to you or not - the genuine warmth is enticing and addictive. Due to Covid everything was shut down so I stopped going. I was looking for a new one to go to. One closer to home. I found this one on yelp and when I called the husband and wife were very nice and I said it was appointment only and cash only. Which was a problem and they told me to call a day before to make an appointment. It was so easy to do. When I arrived they open the door and greeted me in very nicely I had hand sanitizer at my reach when I went to the door. Everything was so clean it was a hot day and the air-conditioning was on inside which was very comfortable. The owners were so nice. During this time I was very concerned about going to certain places especially to salons. However I am glad I have chose this one as it was so clean and I felt very comfortable being in this place. . I really like supporting this place especially because it is family owned her husband helps her which is really nice and with the cleaning and making sure that things are very clean. I noticed this firsthand as once I was done getting a pedicure and Lena was doing the manicure. That has been clean my seat in my area where I was at right away and sanitized it washed everything wiped it down very good so I did feel really safe and comfortable going to this nail salon as they are very cautious and taking precautions. Also my nails turned out great! Way beyond expectations. I typically get gel but I went for a regular polish. Lena did my nails so very good they looked and feel like gel nails.

I was so excited to have gotten an appointment at Nicha Nails, especially after reading the reviews…read moreand having the hardest time finding a half decent nail shop in the area. Unfortunately, that excitement did not last more than 6 hours after having my nails done by Annie. Annie arrived right on time for our appointment, being I was her first client of the day. She is extremely friendly, personable and I enjoyed my time while at Nicha Nails. I picked my colors, sat down and got started. I remember her telling and reminding me the left LED did not work, so I was primarily using only the right one (first chair closest to the entrance). After all was said and done, I paid/tipped her and was extremely pleased with the service and results received. I even went as far as taking a picture as soon as I hopped in my car and wrote a 5 star review. That excitement only lasted several hours when I noticed that my pink colored nails began to chip. Initially, it was only one nail with the slightest chip then that evening I noticed two more nails chipping. On Sunday, prior to her opening I left Annie a phone message asking her if I could change my original appointment date and figured we could discuss my nail issue when she return my call. On Monday, it looked like I hadn't had my nails done in several weeks and was in desperate need of a fill - which I had just gotten done the previous day! At this point, the polish had not only chipped ridiculously but it had also began lifting to the point I could pull the entire color off in one peel - which I ended up doing. I was left with only silver painted nails and unpolished acrylic ones. I called the shop and left another message on Monday, explaining the situation and the current condition of my nails. Since the shop is closed on Monday, I figured I give her time to check her messages and get back to me, she NEVER did. On Tuesday around 3:30p I called the shop and got Annie. I asked what color polish I had used so I could just go pick up a bottle and wait until 2 weeks for my appointment else where. Annie said she was meaning to call me back, which I'm not sure she was at that point, asked me to come in that day which I couldn't bc of work then asked to set up another appointment date with her. As a person, she was really nice, as a nail technician she was not interested in rectifying my nails. Following my nail appointment, I got a massage, grabbed lunch and spent the rest of the weekend relaxing - my hands/nails did ZERO labor. At first I was hesitant to update my 5 star review to a 1; however, I use others reviews and pictures to make my decision so I had to be true to the process. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I paid $35 ($25 fill plus tip) to have a set of nails last less than 24 hours. To say I'm highly disappointed is an understatement. I wish Annie the best and hope that my experience is simply an outlier. I would have most likely given the shop a second chance if she would have taken the time to communicate with me by returning one of my calls rather than me having to track her down.

I came twice to get my acrylics done and while I liked the way the end product looked, the lack of care for the nails and random upcharging ultimately made me stop coming. This last time I came, I had one of the ladies take my old set off since the nail tech laid acrylic over two lifting nails on my first visit and they ended up creating a worse problem. Great, I needed a refresh anyway. She proceeds to put SUPER tiny tips on my nails, which makes them look thin on the sides like I like but it created terrible ingrown nails because it squeezed the sides of the nails. Ultimately I picked a solid red color and she charged me $25 more than the listed price. No reason for it since it's a simple acrylic set with one color. This happened last time and I assumed it was the glitter color was more but it seems she decides on the fly what to charge. Now, three months later, my nails are so thin and have 5 huge pieces of acrylic still stuck to them. I've since moved away and found a new nail tech who refuses to pull them off entirely because they are causing tearing and bleeding on my natural nail. I have religiously done my nails my whole life so three months of this is upsetting and ridiculous. Lastly, they were playing a movie with full blown sex scenes in the salon one of the times when I went and it was so uncomfortable. She apologized after a few minutes of it but continued being standoffish and awkward to me, which was another part of the bad experience. I came back one last time to give them a chance since I liked the end result and color selection, but I made a huge mistake returning.

In fact, this was my first eyebrow threading experience and I was more than pleased. It's located in the first floor of one of the big apartment buildings on San Pablo - it's a small kiosk type shop with a number of other beauty service related operations. Even though it is on SP, parking was really easy to find - I just parked around the corner on a side street less than a block away. Shanti was absolutely amazing! Her vibe is super chill and laid back and she has the precision of a surgeon. I couldn't believe how clean and perfect my brows were when she finished. As a first time threading recipient, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the pain is quite minimal. If you have any experience with tweezing and/or waxing, you'll be just fine. Shanti is really great making you feel comfortable. She holds great conversation and is really friendly. I would go back and make sure that I book with her specifically in the future just to hang with her again while she brings my brows back to life. I get my brows laminated every few months, and I like them to be really precise and combed and gel upwards and bushy. She took every stray hair out, evened them out and trimmed them where needed. All in about 15 minutes! Definitely don't sleep on this cozy little shop and get pampered at a great price with a professional with a ton of experience who makes it look really easy!

She kept my natural shape but cleaned it up perfectly to frame my face. The process was super quick--less than 15 minutes--and much less painful than other places I've been. We started talking about dogs and how I just put my older guy down, I started to cry and she asked if she could give me a hug, I said of course and that act of kindness made it all better! The studio was clean, professional, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. I'll definitely be coming back!
