Tammy is great!  The best nail technician I've been to in Pasadena, and I've tried a number of places.  Tammy has her own work station inside the VP (Hair) Salon Organics on Colorado across from Target.  She's by appt only and very flexible with her hours.  She has 5-star Yelp reviews and is one of the only nail places open past 5pm on a Sunday, which is super helpful.   She also has 20+ years of experience serving clientele in Beverly Hills and was voted one of the Best Nail Technicians in Beverly Hills!  I tried her out for the first time this evening and was very impressed! Tammy knows nails.  She took one look at my cuticles and knew that she couldn't cut them too deep, or they'd peel.  At every other salon, I have to tell them not to cut too much off. She's very meticulous.  When she's shaping your nails, she compares the right and the left to make sure each nail length matches, and then turns your hands upright to make sure your nails look right from your angle, too. Wow! Usually I need to have the technician correct the angling, but I didn't have to tell Tammy a thing.  She's someone you can trust immediately because you can tell she knows what she's doing. We layered 2 different colors on both my hands and my feet and came up with the most beautiful colors, and she did a great job cleaning up my feet, which I'd been ignoring for months.  Now I'm ready for summer sandals! Tammy is friendly, very diligent, and takes pride in her work.  She lives in San Gabriel and is building up her clientele in Pasadena so that she can work more days here, so please try her out!  Currently her Pasadena days are Friday and Sundays and one more weekday (I forget which).  Her prices are higher than salon prices, but the quality of her work and her attention to detail make every dollar worth it.  Plus, no wait. She's super punctual, and you always get her, not a random technician who frees up like at larger salons. I was looking for a new nail tech for my pedicures. I was lucky enough to find Tammy in Pasadena. She asks for preferences, takes her time and is extremely diligent. I'm particularly picky with my toes because of my ingrown toenails. Tammy made sure to clean my nails up and recommended I follow up in 3 weeks. Aside from that, her foot massages are heaven. I met Tammy when working in San Marino, and am SO GLAD she has come to Pasadena. She is the Grace Kelly of women, she works so hard, and makes it look effortless. My hands and feet are perfect. She was voted by Allure Magazine as the top manicurist in Bev Hills, but has expanded her biz to Pasadena. It's such a pretty salon, and you can get your hair done there too. She has the most comfortable chair, and doesn't use harsh chemicals. I use the gel polish, and it lasted about three weeks. She works a few days in Pasadena and other days in Beverly Hills so just text her and she can set up an appointment for you. It's similar to seeing a hairstylist except she doesn't rush you. Tammy gives the best pedicure I have ever had. She removes all the callouses, uses a scrub, gives a strong massage, and mixed a custom color for me. Her area is impeccably clean.
