Best nail salon I've ever been to! The employees were sweet and friendly. I have nothing against other cultures and languages but let's be honest it's irritating when the employees are constantly speaking to one another in their native tongue like you're not there. These people did quite the opposite! It was obvious they made an effort to speak with their client the entire time! Definitely made me and the rest of the bridesmaids feel welcome! This place is amazing! I had really bad acrylics done at some place in Oxnard (they were chipping and breaking after a week) and I needed to get them off. Jenny was so gentle and careful with my nails when she was removing the acrylics and giving me a manicure. My nails actually feel like nails again. Totally coming back! read more

Just went in for a manicure and had the manicurist Heidi. Every step she performed she rushed through and she barely touched the surface of my nails! All my cuticles were left on my right hand the polish doesn't go to the edges of my nails. I looks like a 10 yr old did my nails. The entire appt she was trying to talk me into a gel manicure for 30$. I told her my manicure looked like crap and she said it was because my cuticles were too dry ?? Ugh waste of money. read more

Very friendly and kind staff!! Best hand and foot massage. They did the massage for a long time too which is always s plus. Mani and pedi were perfect. Very clean salon. They do charge more to use massage chairs $45 or $35 without chair and only take check or cash. Highly recommend! read more

Took my 4 yr old daughter in for her first polish at a real salon while mom got a pedicure. They did a great job on her fingernails then let her sit in my lap while I got a pedicure. I thought all was well and kept asking about why they hadn't painted her toes yet, but no one would answer me. Then they told me it was cash only and I had to pay first, so I went to Von's to get cash. Came back with cash and asked them to finish the job and paint her toes. They tried to charge me double what they quoted me before I got the cash in order to finish! I was so upset and refused to pay twice so they refused to paint her toes. Such a horrible way to act around a child. Never again. read more

OK, it's just another one of the nail salons that you find on practically every corner, but I seriously expected at least a half-way decent job, HALFWAY! I didn't even get that. I was a walk-in wanting a set of gels. The job was sooo sloppily done it was hard to even believe. A thick accumulation of gel on the end of each nail, while some of the sides had such a thin layer that most nails were not entirely covered. Do not go here for gels. I am on a quest now for a reasonably priced place that does good gels...expect more reviews on such. read more

Worst pedicure ever...the lady LANA who did my pedicure was so busy talking to her co-worker that she cut my foot and I bleed...then she tried to cover up what happened! It was OVER priced and when I walked in and asked how much they did not tell me cash or check only....they just suggest you go to Vons and get cash. I asked why they didn't have a sign to notify customers...she didn't answer. I would NEVER go back!! read more

I must say everyone that gets a manicure or pedicure should come here and have the healing rocks applied afterwards. It is the most relaxing procedure I have ever received. I never am this relaxed. I took my 13 year old here. She wanted her nails done for her Birthday. She has very small nails. They did such an awesome job on my daughters tiny nail bed. They were very gentle and did a beautiful job. I would recommend this nail salon to any one. Wonderful staff and very clean. I will give two stars only because are truly very nice but as far as the actual job.... AWFUL. I went in for a fill and my nails were filed crooked and the texture of the fill was rigid. When it came down to the painting of the nails is where I decided I will NEVER go back. The polish was all over my cuticles and there were brush marks on the tips from not enough polish. I literally had to go home and repaint them. read more

I just decided to put back on some acurlics, I had gone to this place in the past but it has been a longtime. The same person i would go to was still there, his name is Theo and he does a fantastic job. Very clean nail salon and nice people you dont feel rushed like some of those other places make you feel. I used to get my nails done here routinely and was very happy with their service. The staff were always very friendly and my nails always looked good. I moved out of the county and on return I tried other nail salons closer to home in Camarillo. I seriously could not find a decent nail salon in Camarillo so I came back here. As a man, it is a little intimidating to go into a predominantly female business, but Heather at Nails D'elegance immediately made me feel comfortable. Heather is very knowledgeable and extremely professional. As a doctor I appreciate the fact that Heather makes every effort to keep her station as sterile as possible. The salon is neat and clean, with easy access and parking. Heather has a large clientele of professional people due to the manner in which she conducts her business. The one star is because the staff are very friendly. I walked in and asked for a pedicure. I was directed to one of the spa chairs where I received a pedi typical of all the other "walk-in" style salons in town. When I was charged, it was way over-priced and come to find out it was for the "spa" pedicure which I did not ask for. A "regular" pedi at this shop means sitting at a manicure table with a bucket for your feet!! What?! I had never had the gel nail polish before. The lady did say it was more but I failed to ask the exact price. Well it an extra $20. This was not for the actual gel nails, just the gel polish! And to top it off the skin on one of my toes is stained all along one side from polish. In addition, my 10 year daughter was with me getting a child's manicure. It was originally a lady helping her to pick out her polish but when she sat down for the actual mani, a man came over to do it. When I said she was uncomfortable with a man they said it was his turn next and that next time I should ask in advance for a woman and they will accommodate. When I suggested that it should be standard practice for an adolescent girl to be with a woman I was told that they will accommodate if specifically asked but otherwise it goes by turn. My 10 yr old daughter did NOT enjoy a hand massage by an unknown man! Then about half way through the experience, one of the employees began vaccuuming, which lasted for about 15 mins and included him asking customers to move their feet and chairs so he could get around! We will not be returning to this salon or recommending it to anyone. read more
