Good noodles. Add all the toppings. Beware of the pepper sauce. Chili oil is solid with the rice noodles.

Taste of MP now allows ordering lunch special to-go too? New boss lady/manager is on top of things! I feel soup is usually not allowed to-go even if there's leftovers from dining, and definitely not when ordering take-out. Soup and rice are usually dine-in benefits. So given soup to go was really nice! What we got this time 5/11/26 Monday 1pmish visit: (After Mother's day) -- #1. Pan fried string beans with lunches pork and pickled olives $12.99 #3. Don't worry if you don't eat spicy - a lot of the dishes aren't that spicy although they do look pretty red in the pictures. - Miao Sour Soup - fish filet: not spicy and the filets are boneless! Fish filet are super tender and I love the veggies in there as well (bean sprouts, broccoli, among others) - sautéed vegetables with garlic sauce: the veggies are so fresh and the sauce is cooked to perfection! If you like garlic, this is a must! - dragon style chili oil roasted duck: duck is super tender and comes with lots of different varieties of veggies! It's not super spicy but does have a kick! Portion is really good! - orange zest mung bean soup: highly recommend! It's super refreshing with tons of mung beans at the bottom. It's not overly sweet at all and perfect to go along with the rest of the dishes. There aren't a ton of tables inside but there's one or two bigger tables if you have a big party! There's free parking shared with the motel. You'll see a sign outside - make sure you are not parking at the other lot to the left of the restaurant.

They had comfy chairs, vibrant colors, and original artwork on the walls. The place was giving upscale cafe vibes. It's the kind of place where you can eat and lounge for a while. The dishes were on the pricer side, as far as Chinese food goes. There were some chef specials that were out of our price range. The staff are wonderful and attentive. My favorite dishes were the crispy eggplant with shrimp paste and the sauté shrimp with sliced potatoes. I would definitely go back if I was entertaining or for a very special occasion.

We met family and friends while they already were in the middle of dinner and we came pretty late. Mama Lu's is known for their dumplings but they also serve Chinese dishes such as beef chow fun, roasted duck, fried fish fillet, and more. Staff were friendly, they were helpful and a wasn't hard to flag them down if we needed something. Overall, good place, would come again to try dumplings.

The fried fish was very good, crunchy a little bland but the seasons on the side worked out. The beef noodle is just classic, I feel like I eat this all the time at Chinese restaurants. The service was good, My grandma's friend apparently scoped out the place before hand and put her card down for the table. Sneaky sneaky, she put down one of the trickiest plays. The place has a very high ceiling, Spacious doesn't seem like it had a lot of tables, but it wasn't packed.

It's pretty good here and they have complimentary refills! They're known for their rice noodle rolls here and you can order them, along with their small dim sum menu, all day long. The wonton noodles here were just $13.98! They come with 5 large wontons and vegetables over wonton noodles. I always recommend adding chili oil. The steamed spareribs on steamed rice have some bones, just like the ones you find at dim sum. But there's a lot of meat in the steamed rice bowl for a single person. Couldn't find the spot at first in the plaza but it is located near a McDonald's. Looked big from outside but was a decent size inside with a good amount of tables and seating space. Service was really fast, got seated quick and they were fast to take our orders which was crazy at first but they were on it with service so I appreciated that. Even the food came out pretty fast. Saw that the Beef Noodle Soup was good so I had to try it, the beef broth was delicious and I love bok choy so they had me at bok choy! Beef was nicely cooked too, I liked it! Dan Dan noodles were okay and it felt like it was spicy peanut butter but still good, just not my favorite. But the pork dumplings (xiao long bao) was YUMMY. It really hit the spot when we grabbed one each and the warmth and taste was delicious. Definitely my favorite! Pork and crab dumplings were good too! I was just too full at that point to have more of it all. I'd say this place satisfied my hunger and I left there super full so I'll comeback again :)

We also had a lot of questions about the menu, and they were super helpful there too.

We ordered a few regular dinner items and everything came out hot, fresh, and in decent portions. The flavors were exactly what you'd expect from a HK café: simple, consistent, and satisfying without being overly fancy. It's a good spot for a casual, filling meal. The main reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the service attitude. There seemed to be some favoritism where Cantonese-speaking tables were helped ahead of others even though we arrived earlier. That part was frustrating and definitely affected the overall experience. Parking is shared in the lot, which can get a little tight depending on the time you go, but it's manageable. The bathrooms were also semi-clean, usable, but a little scary. Once we were finally helped, service was fine and things moved normally. Food is still good enough that I'd come back, but I do hope the service feels more fair and consistent next time.
