Namaste Baltimore is located about a mile from Loyola University and Johns Hopkins University. They offer parking spaces during peak times when it is difficult to find parking spaces around. This was really helpful before we got to this restaurant. The restaurant is very clean, inviting, and the ambiance is really nice. Most importantly the food was really good and was well plated for the price we paid. A large room and the tables are spaced out and not cramped. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and offered us a great selection of food for my family. The food we ordered had much flavor and spice, depending on what you get. Everything is well cooked I never have complained over anything. If you want to go there for a date, go for lunch or dinner, and want to experience excellent service, go to Namaste Baltimore. Namaste is a very pleasant surprise. The food is excellent! Today my wife and I placed a carry out order. In spite of being busy, our order arrived at the time promised and hot. The naan bread was freshly prepared. We purchased two orders, one garlic, the other onion. The flavors were not over powering, nor was the bread over cooked. The veggie samosas were not over spiced. They were perfect. The Chicken Korma and Chicken Birya were fantastic. The sauces were excellent and the rice was not overcooked as other Indian Restaurants tend to serve. We topped off our dinner with fresh Kheer. It had just been prepared. It had basmati rice, and was spiced with Cardamom and other sweet spices. We shared a mango lassi which was rich, creamy and delicious. In the past, when we wanted great Indian cuisine, we had to drive to Silver Spring or DC. Those days are over. This is our number one choice for a diverse and truly Indian cuisine. The food is well prepared, tasty, and, in accordance with your specifications. My family and I have had and will continue to have dinner for birthdays, anniversaries, other special occasions, and casual dining. The ambience is calming and provides a cozy atmosphere, but not overwhelming. The staff is courteous, friendly, professional and overall immaculate. They are always interacting to ensure that everything is fine. What is especially appreciated is the fact that the Manager personally greets quests and makes the rounds to interact and receive feedback and recommendations. The food is simply amazing. We ordered Chicken Chili, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Kadhai & Garlic Naan and each of the items were just amazing. I have tried these dishes at several India restaurants across US and this is one of the best. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Each customer was very well attended by the staff and the owner. It was very generous of the owner to offer our group desserts on the house looking at our appreciation for their awesome food. We happened to be there on Friday Night. It is not in downtown but I was told about this by one of my friend as a newly opened neighborhood gem.It was very busy and all the tables were full. I was surprised to see so many people for a newly opened restaurant. Once the food came I knew the reason why. It was super delicious and simply one of the best Indian food I have ever had. Naan was very fresh and came hot from the Tandoor. Chicken tikka was perfect and nepali Dish ( momo) was also yummy. For a busy Friday night, service was prompt and owners were very friendly. Decor looked elegant and I especially liked the Indian style lighting. Overall great experience and definitely a 5 star. Awesome food! I went for lunch and had a buffet, so I had to try it all. Tikka masala, tandoori chicken, chili chicken, palak paneer and real rice pudding. I ate it all and it was fresh and delicious to taste every single thing. I've had the best Indian food in ages and my favorite Indian spot in the state after just one meal now. Even little stuff like the tandoori vegetables was blackened by roasting but despite being in a buffet, they were still perfectly firm on the inside and there was a slight seasoning on them but still enough that I couldn't avoid eating them. It was such a good thing that I ate three helpings. The furniture was fantastic, and the atmosphere was cool. All the workers were approachable and respectful. I went to Namaste for the first time for my birthday. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was amazing! They were so accommodating to our group and made us feel so welcome. I had the Momos, the Dal Makhani, and shared some veggie samosas. I also tried some of the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Garlic Naan. Everything was fantastic! They brought out Kheer for the table and Gulab Jamun for me with a little candle and sang "Happy Birthday". Even if you're not celebrating a birthday, I highly recommend eating here! We came here with 1 hour left before our movie showtime, and we let our server know that we were in a hurry after we were seated. The staff made a conscious effort to make sure that we were well fed and finished in time to make the movie. It was really great service from some very friendly staff. The food was also delicious! We got some Chicken Tikka, Paneer Tikka, Vegetable Jal Farezi, Onion Kulcha, Parantha, and Garlic Naan. The parantha was well done with the right amount of crispiness and butter/ghee. The serving sizes of our delicious ordered dishes were also plentiful, while being well-priced. This place is the best Indian food restaurant in all of Baltimore and possibly the United States. I have been here multiple times and have never been dissatisfied. Wendy, my favorite server, is wonderful, kind, and always delivers with a smile. The food comes out quickly and full of flavor. My wife and I literally just left Namaste a few minutes ago. We've been several times over the last year or two and we love it. The food is delicious, the staff is always polite and helpful, the owner is delightful, the decor is beautiful, and the prices are extremely reasonable. We don't live very far away but I wish it was in our neighborhood. It's a great combination of intimate and friendly while also feeling very elegant and upscale-- but the prices don't reflect the elegance, they are extremely reasonable. I love coming to Namaste Baltimore whenever I'm craving Indian food. I was never very fond of Indian food, but coming to Namaste has changed that opinion. We visited Namaste Baltimore Restaurant while traveling from Colorado to Baltimore. The restaurant ambiance was great, clean and the place was very nicely decorated. We ordered typical Nepalese food (Khaja and Momo). Our kids took the Buffet. The food came out hot and was really tasty! Wonderful customer service and the owners/staff were very friendly and met with our expectations. We recently ended up at Namaste after discovering the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed. Definitely kismet, because we had a fantastic dinner experience. The waitress was excellent. They had a good selection of drinks, and the food was great. The samosas and pakoras were well executed, flavorful and not greasy. We had 4 vegetable entrees - an eggplant dish, okra dish, cauliflower and potato dish and vegetable Korma. Each was different and delicious. Their breads were also excellent. Great Indian food as always. There are closer Indian restaurants near where I live but Namaste is worth the slightly extra drive by a long shot. Placed a big order for 9 people the other night and the food was ready in under an hour. I also really appreciate how their spice rating is actually accurate - I love some heat but some of my friends do not, but at Namaste a "medium" is truly a medium, rather than many other restaurants where you ask for "hot" and get "mild as tomato sauce"! Namaste Baltimore is a great restaurant in the middle of Roland park in Baltimore. It is easily accessible and the service is great. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly, servers frequently check on us, and we were treated very well there. The food was beyond my expectations. Everything was catered exactly to the spice level we had ordered and went above and beyond in our expectations.
