Impeccable vibes, best tea I've had in a long time! A great place to get some work done.

I've been to Namiko Studio Cafe a few times now and it's my new favorite spot. It's literally the definition of a hidden gem as when you look at it from the front...cute coffee shop for sure. But once you go inside and then to the backyard garden...hidden garden of peace & gathering in the middle of Beverly Grove! I love it. They don't have a dedicated parking lot so if you're driving over, it can be hit or miss finding meter spots on Beverly Boulevard or the surrounding side streets. I usually just walk over and that's ideal. Staff is always friendly when I've gone in and there's usually a long line for them to handle. People love their matcha and I've tried a bunch of drinks, I've always been happy with. They also have onigiri that are pretty solid and my personal favorite - masubi! I love masubi so much and they do it pretty well here. They do a bunch of cool community events here, like yoga, movies, even singles nights - so check out their calendar! WiFi is great here so it's a great place for working or studying. Dog friendly in the back garden area! Closed on Mondays, open at 830am every other day! read more

The outer appearance wouldn't do justice as you might not guess how sizable the space was, especially that outdoor side view patio they had! Like seriously you could throw a party with pretty sizable group of people. All drinks were gorgeously presented, showing careful attention to details, further elevating the nice service. We got their Namiko Signature and Alon Ube, basically the house version of Latte with Banana Cream Top and Matcha with Ube Cream Top. The cream was probably tad too thick for my preference but loving the bold flavor for both of them. I leaned towards the coffee more than the matcha, flavor wise. The price might be kinda high, but the size was decent and they used good quality cups. read more

I liked my coffee drink and my bagel was slathered with a lot of cream cheese. I asked them to serve my drink in a mug and they did. It's food they use organic milk. There was plenty of outdoor seating but the popular spots are next to the fountain, so I did not get my first choice seat right away. Very spacious place that seems like a good place to get work done. read more

I can happily say that this is still my favorite spot. The whole team just really cares about the community, you can feel the love in everything they do, from the stunning garden events to the care they put into making each drink and treat (at this point I've tried a lot! I've had Snappy's pretzel, the quiche which they made in-house, the gluten free blueberry muffin which is amazing, seasonal muffin - chocolate chip, and even their freshly made oven truffle mushroom pizza... ate that right up!). It's great that they also have so many events now too! I've seen mahjong clubs, bands and movie nights, even future events include singles meet ups and pottery. Just a beautiful place for the neighborhood, keep doing what you're doing and save me a spot on the weekends because I know more people are discovering this gem as they should! read more

Escaping LA w/o Leaving LA?!?! SOLUTION! Namiko Studio Cafe WeHo, CA On the outside it is unassuming with no expectations and honestly it looks like a typical coffee shop. The moment you walk in and look to the left, curiosity hits when you explore the beautiful secret garden that feels like a vacation resort! Umbrellas, hammock, green area, pebble walkways and lots of resort style seating where you can absorb the vibes, eat and sip and enjoy what @namikostudiocafe has to offer. It's really an unexpected oasis and the best part is the coffee, drinks, pastries, prepared snacks like onigiri and spam musubi taste really good and simply hits ! Service is friendly. Definitely a must go and check out. Movie nights and other fun scheduled events are being planned out as we speak. read more

This place is a hidden gem! I didn't see a parking lot for this place, so street parking! It seems like a pretty regular store until you get inside. I love the ambiance of this place because you can hear the water running from the windows, and there's a nice garden outside. We went on a Saturday morning around 10 am and it did not seem too busy. This place would be super nice for a nice coffee hangout. We ordered the Blue Wave coffee drink, which has a banana cream topping! It looks different and unique compared to other drinks; I would definitely order it again and come back when visiting LA! read more

3.5 stars for me for the coffee but with the ambiance/vibe I'd give this place a solid 4 stars. I came here and ordered the Spanish latte. It was not very good, but I've definitely had better Spanish lattes at other coffee spots. I think the coffee itself could use a little more refinement and flavor. It tasted like I was drinking cinnamon milk. That being said, what really makes this place stand out is the ambiance. The inside and outside design are both really beautiful and give off such a relaxing, aesthetic vibe. It feels like one of those places you come to more for the atmosphere and experience rather than just the coffee alone. You can tell they have a lot of potential and are building something unique here. While it may not be my first choice specifically for coffee, I'd still possibly come back to hang out, enjoy the space, or meet up with friends. read more

I'm awarding this new Matcha spot in Beverly 10 stars. That's right 10! Namiko uses high-quality ingredients in its beverage lineup -- like ceremonial Matcha and healthy alternative milks without those gummy fillers. My drink was clean, fresh, and the perfect ratio of Matcha to milk. What makes this place extra special? A huge outdoor patio garden not visible from the road with lots of seating and umbrellas. They also serve lite bites -- and make their own pizzas on the weekends. What more could you ask for? According to the baristas, the owner is a surfer who wanted to bring a bit of the beach to the concrete jungle. The name Namiko roughly translates to wave child. Without a doubt, I'll be spending a lot of time here. Highly recommended! read more

Namiko Studio Cafe is an absolute gem! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a chocolate covered strawberry latte and it was delicious! It had rea finely-chopped sweetened strawberries! I would definitely order this again but maybe add another shot of espresso. The quiche was good but it was a little bit cold in the middle. Overall, it was a great breakfast and would next time order one of their gorgeous pastries. The huge pull in this cafe is the SPACE! The garden area is cute with lots of cushioned lounge chair, a grassy area with blankets to lay on and HAMMOCK! If you are looking for a place to be creative, read a book or want to find a quiet, peaceful spots to kick it in, this would be the spot. There's a cozy indoor space as well as a large patio with seating and umbrellas for shade as well as a hammock and manicured grass area for additional seating. They also offer WiFi. They graciously offered to close off the patio for a work event and even though so many of us arrived at once the service was quick and the patio spot perfect for our group. New aesthetic café in the Fairfax area that's worth checking out! One of the best café atmospheres in LA for me. Glad to have visited it before TikTok blows this place up lol. They serve Asian-inspired items. I visited this café on a Friday noon and my experience here was great. Approaching the café and walking in, I was enamored with the pretty design, clean interior, and open space. There was artificial rain being sprayed by the windows paired with rain music which was so vibey. I also loved the spacious outdoor area which even has hammocks. A perfect place to wind down and relax. They even have outlets and wifi and I was able to do some work from here which was a plus. They even have clean bathrooms with Japanese toilets, what does this place not have! I ordered their Namiko Signature drink which is a vanilla latte with a blue banana cream top. While I enjoyed the flavor and creaminess of the cream top, the coffee itself was quite weak. My friend who ordered the iced americano also thought her drink was weak as well. I know this drink was literally created a day or two ago, so I would recommend using a stronger roast in the recipe. I also ordered their matcha almond croissant and that was good as well. The croissant was crispy and I enjoyed the cakey bits baked on top. I would recommend having more matcha and almond filling/flavoring though. The service was great and the staff were kind. They explained the menu items to me, helped me access the bathroom, and checked up on me which I appreciated. While the food items could be improved on, I do recognize the potential of this café to be huge. Good luck to the new business owners and I will come visit again for sure! read more

I stumbled across this newly opened neighborhood cafe and was so delighted by how lovely the space is! Namiko means "wave child," and there are definitely some nods to surf and waves with the space decor and chill and zen vibe. There's both indoor seating as well as a spacious outdoor patio - the patio is a stand-out and is perfect for enjoying the sunny LA weather and relaxing or chatting with friends. On top of that, they're open until 10pm every day and on their website they mention hosting future community events and movie nights which would be an amazing addition to our community! I love that the cafe is dog friendly as well! Free wifi is available. The atmosphere is overall so relaxing, inviting, and chill - perfect for hanging out or getting some work done. Service was friendly, and I ended up getting the mango green tea less sweet (they have boba as a topping too!). The drink itself was pretty standard, but I liked the mango chunks in the drink. It was on the pricey end as well ($9 in total). Their bathrooms are really nice (complete with a bidet and heated seat haha!) and there's plenty of street parking in the area. i really enjoyed this place! is so unexpecting from the outside. lots of street parking available when i came around 7pm on a monday. love the patio space, very spacious and well decorated. the service was great and quick! ashton was so sweet and she answered all and any questions i had. i love that they make so much in house. the ensaymada had a nice melted butter on it which made it sweet and salty which i liked. i really enjoyed the banana matcha and appreciated that it didn't taste artificial. super cute interior and outdoor area, plenty of seating and parking, perfect for students or anyone trying to get some work done and they offer good snacks to hold you over cons: the pretzel had too much salt on it and it also wasn't very warm when i got it :( the ensaymada was also cold on the inside. i got the blueberry matcha and would appreciate a smoother syrup as the fruit bits made it hard to drink. my bf got the cold brew and said it was a bit sour read more

I was looking for a cafe that positioned me a little closer to Little Ethiopia than where I live, and so after checking out another spot and finding virtually no outlets, I relocated to Namiko to try to get in a work session. It's a very tranquil and comfortable spots, with a variety of hard-backed and more plush seating. For me, the plush seating is a bit too plush to be great for working, but if you're socializing, it could be perfect. (Also, for me, I find the indoor tables' ability to spin around more distracting than anything else. Your mileage may vary.) Lots of outlets inside, but the one challenge--at least with the plus "bench" where I was sitting--is that the outlets are set back a bit underneath the seating, making them hard to access. Either you have to get down on the ground or contort yourself to get the plug in and out. It was better if you were at one of the hard-backed counters (though I wish they weren't facing the wall). There's also a lovely outdoor garden space (great for the non-battery limited). The drink menu is varied, with lots of coffee, tea and bubble tea options. I went for my customary mocha, which sparked a nice chat with the friendly barista about whether I wanted their updated recipe or the original one. I tried the updated one (call me Mr. Guinea Pig). It needed a bit more chocolate, which she happily provided. The one thing that didn't compute was the barista's claim that vanilla is typically an ingredient in a mocha. It's not. A traditional mocha is just espresso, chocolate, milk (and ice, in this case). It sounds like perhaps they used it in theirs, but that's not the norm. I got mine without. Ultimately, I'd call the drink a work-in-progress (it was "fine")--they've only been open a month--and it may be that in another month, they'll have perfected it. A few other details: Bathrooms are nice and clean. Parking in the area is a bit of a challenge. A lot of the neighboring streets are two hours, so you may need to go out and flip your car to the other side of the street. I didn't try the pastries, but they looked very nice--I suspect they were quite good. All in all, I think this place has nice vibes, and I look forward to seeing if they can refine the drinks and go up a level. read more

Wish I could give it a 4.5 Pros: - A LOT of really cool seating both inside and outside. The outside patio gives room to have great conversations and own a portion of the space. - A cafe this large with mixed patio/indoor seating is rare in my opinion to this scale. - The music volume was great and not too loud and the tracks fit the vibe of of the place. - The indoor tables are raising/lowering depending on needs. They're not too heavy either so are easy to reposition. Great distribution of outlets too! - Nice selection of pastries, including ensaymada -- IYKYK - Updating my rating to 5 stars. The outdoor portion is actually well-lit + water feature, and a lot of dog friendly areas! Cons: - The tables are cool but not stable. Not to say they wobble (thankfully they don't), but the tops do spin as if they're on ball bearings which can be useful but also felt awkward while working. Also, the wood boards that make them aren't always evenly flush so using a mouse on it with your laptop can be annoying. - If you don't want caffeine, you have no choice. Despite tea not having as much caffeine as coffee, there aren't really many options here that are completely caffeine-free so if you're caffeine sensitive, this location might be difficult to order from. - I wasn't asked if I would like my order hot or cold and was disappointed it came out cold. Granted I might have missed it specifically being a cold beverage in the menu, but I don't drink cold coffee as often. read more

WHAT a delightful spot omg! Checked it out on the recommendation of a coworker and it blew me away. It's a GREAT spot to sit and get work done, and with their late (for a coffee shop, especially) hours you can camp out for quite a while! The drink and food I had were tasty and a good value for the money, the staff were friendly and warm, the patio space is MASSIVE and very relaxing to spend time in. Also, easily the best cafe bathroom I've ever been in -- they've got a Japanese toilet with a heated seat and bidet and WOW is that a luxury. I'm very eager to go back to work through a day again soon! As a heads-up, parking in the area is a bit challenging and they do not take cash. read more

So happy I stumbled upon this place! It's an incredible space: super comfortable and the secret garden is so special. They're really making it an awesome space with more than just coffee. We walked in and there happen to be a movie night happening with fresh pizza. The boba teas were all delicious, the right amount of not too sweet and the boba soft and chewy. I was at Namiko this morning and spent the majority of my time in the outdoor space. It's beautifully laid out with more than enough seating and I was able to get a lot of knitting done in a nicely shaded spot. I ended up ordering a matcha and their enseymada. The matcha was solid, but the enseymada was the really outstanding part. The perfect blend of salty and sweet. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. read more

Wow... I was walking in the neighborhood and stumbled across a new coffee shop and had to give a double take before entering. This place is MASSIVE! Let's start with their drinks... I tried their thai tea first and was not disappointed! Secondly, the espresso smelled and looked AMAZING! They are really known for their Ceremonial, top notch Matcha and they have different variations of them! I will be returning for them ALL. The coolest thing is that they are open until 10 pm EVERY DAMN DAY! They're speaking my language... The space outdoors rivals the service and drinks and overall I think this is going to be the next big coffee shop in this part of LA! 5 Stars... read more

LOVE Namiko! I came in during their soft opening and got a pretzel (super soft & FRESH!) and iced strawberry tea with boba (refreshing for a hot day & the perfect amount of sweet). The staff were super attentive, kind, and welcoming. There is a huge outdoor area with seating & umbrellas or you can sit inside for the classic coffee shop vibes. Also, parking isn't too bad (specially for west LA!), there's meters on Beverly blvd or residential street parking (at least on weekdays). 10/10 experience at Namiko Studio Cafe! I had a 20-person birthday party in the garden area this weekend and it was lovely! All my friends were obsessed with the drinks-- especially the "blue wave banana cream top vanilla latte" (can also be done over a matcha americano which was another fan favorite). My personal favorites are the fresh fruit teas-- especially the mango green tea. The garden area is a great space to host a birthday, catch-up with friends / hangout, and do work.
