    Great space
    Rashmi V.

3.5 stars for me for the coffee but with the ambiance/vibe I'd give this place a solid 4 stars. I came here and ordered the Spanish latte. It was not very good, but I've definitely had better Spanish lattes at other coffee spots. I think the coffee itself could use a little more refinement and flavor. It tasted like I was drinking cinnamon milk. That being said, what really makes this place stand out is the ambiance. The inside and outside design are both really beautiful and give off such a relaxing, aesthetic vibe. It feels like one of those places you come to more for the atmosphere and experience rather than just the coffee alone. You can tell they have a lot of potential and are building something unique here. While it may not be my first choice specifically for coffee, I'd still possibly come back to hang out, enjoy the space, or meet up with friends.

Namiko Studio Cafe is one of those lowkey LA spots that makes you want to gatekeep. Creative crowd, fresh air, plenty of outlets, and a clean outdoor setup that makes it easy to lock in. The drip coffee was good and came with a free refill, staff was welcoming, and the restroom having a bidet was crazy cool. Perfect laptop-friendly cafe if you're feening for creative energy and a breath of fresh air.

Super cool place to do work or get a drink and chit chat with friends. They even have a picnic area where you can ask to borrow a blanket. Also pet friendly!!

Namiko Studio Cafe is an absolute gem! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a chocolate covered strawberry latte and it was delicious! It had rea finely-chopped sweetened strawberries! I would definitely order this again but maybe add another shot of espresso. The quiche was good but it was a little bit cold in the middle. Overall, it was a great breakfast and would next time order one of their gorgeous pastries. The huge pull in this cafe is the SPACE! The garden area is cute with lots of cushioned lounge chair, a grassy area with blankets to lay on and HAMMOCK! If you are looking for a place to be creative, read a book or want to find a quiet, peaceful spots to kick it in, this would be the spot. I brought a sketch book and it was a perfect ambiance to journal and sketch for a couple of hours.

Solid coffee, matcha and boba spot with a selection of savory and sweet pastries. There's a cozy indoor space as well as a large patio with seating and umbrellas for shade as well as a hammock and manicured grass area for additional seating. They also offer WiFi. They graciously offered to close off the patio for a work event and even though so many of us arrived at once the service was quick and the patio spot perfect for our group. My quiche was excellent although the matcha could have been hotter. Recommend this spot for its welcoming and chill vibe, patio space and drink and pastry offerings.

This. Is. The. Spot!!!!! Amazingly gorgeous interior with a stunning outdoor area as well, such a peaceful and lovely spot for coffee, work or study in LA! Beautifully friendly and helpful service and deliciously made drinks! I have been looking for a good place that has similar vibes to cafes that I've visited in Japan and Seoul and it's been hard to find them in LA - I am so happy that such a beautiful place has opened in this neighborhood. They've just opened a few weeks as of the date of this review and already I can't wait to become a regular here. I had their dirty matcha with coconut milk on my first visit and it was expertly made, so well balanced, you can tell they use stellar ingredients and that they make their drinks with care. They also source their pastries currently from a few of the top local places in LA (Roti Bakery and Ensaymada Project) so love local businesses supporting each other! Also it sounds like they're going to have a lot of events coming as they settle in so I'll be on the lookout for those! The fact that they're also open until later in the evenings (until 10pm)... absolutely amazing! Parking is meter street or neighborhood during the day (but watch those signs!)

New aesthetic café in the Fairfax area that's worth checking out! One of the best café atmospheres in LA for me. Glad to have visited it before TikTok blows this place up lol. They serve Asian-inspired items. I visited this café on a Friday noon and my experience here was great. Approaching the café and walking in, I was enamored with the pretty design, clean interior, and open space. There was artificial rain being sprayed by the windows paired with rain music which was so vibey. I also loved the spacious outdoor area which even has hammocks. A perfect place to wind down and relax. They even have outlets and wifi and I was able to do some work from here which was a plus. They even have clean bathrooms with Japanese toilets, what does this place not have! I ordered their Namiko Signature drink which is a vanilla latte with a blue banana cream top. While I enjoyed the flavor and creaminess of the cream top, the coffee itself was quite weak. My friend who ordered the iced americano also thought her drink was weak as well. I know this drink was literally created a day or two ago, so I would recommend using a stronger roast in the recipe. I also ordered their matcha almond croissant and that was good as well. The croissant was crispy and I enjoyed the cakey bits baked on top. I would recommend having more matcha and almond filling/flavoring though. The service was great and the staff were kind. They explained the menu items to me, helped me access the bathroom, and checked up on me which I appreciated. While the food items could be improved on, I do recognize the potential of this café to be huge. Good luck to the new business owners and I will come visit again for sure!

I stumbled across this newly opened neighborhood cafe and was so delighted by how lovely the space is! Namiko means "wave child," and there are definitely some nods to surf and waves with the space decor and chill and zen vibe. There's both indoor seating as well as a spacious outdoor patio - the patio is a stand-out and is perfect for enjoying the sunny LA weather and relaxing or chatting with friends. On top of that, they're open until 10pm every day and on their website they mention hosting future community events and movie nights which would be an amazing addition to our community! I love that the cafe is dog friendly as well! Free wifi is available. The atmosphere is overall so relaxing, inviting, and chill - perfect for hanging out or getting some work done. Service was friendly, and I ended up getting the mango green tea less sweet (they have boba as a topping too!). The drink itself was pretty standard, but I liked the mango chunks in the drink. It was on the pricey end as well ($9 in total). Their bathrooms are really nice (complete with a bidet and heated seat haha!) and there's plenty of street parking in the area. Overall, a great new spot in our neighborhood with lots of potential!

WHAT a delightful spot omg! Checked it out on the recommendation of a coworker and it blew me away. It's a GREAT spot to sit and get work done, and with their late (for a coffee shop, especially) hours you can camp out for quite a while! The drink and food I had were tasty and a good value for the money, the staff were friendly and warm, the patio space is MASSIVE and very relaxing to spend time in. Also, easily the best cafe bathroom I've ever been in -- they've got a Japanese toilet with a heated seat and bidet and WOW is that a luxury. I'm very eager to go back to work through a day again soon! As a heads-up, parking in the area is a bit challenging and they do not take cash.

Super cute spot with a garden hang out area. Service was 10/10 super nice and helpful! I had added milk on an americano after receiving it with no trouble. But I LOVED the dirty matcha !!! It was soooo good, I would definitely recommend. I will definitely be coming back!

Wish I could give it a 4.5 Pros: - A LOT of really cool seating both inside and outside. The outside patio gives room to have great conversations and own a portion of the space. - A cafe this large with mixed patio/indoor seating is rare in my opinion to this scale. - The music volume was great and not too loud and the tracks fit the vibe of of the place. - The indoor tables are raising/lowering depending on needs. They're not too heavy either so are easy to reposition. Great distribution of outlets too! - Nice selection of pastries, including ensaymada -- IYKYK - Updating my rating to 5 stars. The outdoor portion is actually well-lit + water feature, and a lot of dog friendly areas! Cons: - The tables are cool but not stable. Not to say they wobble (thankfully they don't), but the tops do spin as if they're on ball bearings which can be useful but also felt awkward while working. Also, the wood boards that make them aren't always evenly flush so using a mouse on it with your laptop can be annoying. - If you don't want caffeine, you have no choice. Despite tea not having as much caffeine as coffee, there aren't really many options here that are completely caffeine-free so if you're caffeine sensitive, this location might be difficult to order from. - I wasn't asked if I would like my order hot or cold and was disappointed it came out cold. Granted I might have missed it specifically being a cold beverage in the menu, but I don't drink cold coffee as often.

This place is such a hidden gem... honestly one of my favorite finds. From the moment you walk in, the space feels calm, intentional, and beautifully designed. It has that perfect blend of cozy and aesthetic where you instantly want to stay awhile. The food and drinks were just as impressive. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully made, and not overly heavy. You can tell there's real care put into both the ingredients and presentation. I especially loved how balanced everything was, flavorful but still light and energizing. The service was warm and welcoming without being overbearing, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. It's the kind of place that works for everything; catching up with a friend, getting a little work done, or just taking a quiet moment for yourself. If you're looking for a spot that feels a little elevated but still approachable, Namiko Studio Café is absolutely worth checking out. I'll definitely be back.

Wow... I was walking in the neighborhood and stumbled across a new coffee shop and had to give a double take before entering. This place is MASSIVE! Let's start with their drinks... I tried their thai tea first and was not disappointed! Secondly, the espresso smelled and looked AMAZING! They are really known for their Ceremonial, top notch Matcha and they have different variations of them! I will be returning for them ALL. The coolest thing is that they are open until 10 pm EVERY DAMN DAY! They're speaking my language... The space outdoors rivals the service and drinks and overall I think this is going to be the next big coffee shop in this part of LA! 5 Stars...

The peach shaped and was forgettable Pros: - The cakes are very very cute and amazing to look at - Shop inside had a few tables. It seemed like most were just couples or a few friends sharing - Kiosk ordering do no need for human interaction if you don't want it Cons: - I really hated that the flavors did not match up to the cake shapes. I think I liked the lemon shaped one the best because it has the most citrusy passionfruit flavor. But when I break into the mango shaped cake, I expect a strong mango flavor. If the flavors were not going to match, I would've much rather like it if the cakes were in different shapes like a cute cartoonish animal, or smiley face, or a daisy. Some shape that I wouldn't associate with flavor - I also wasn't a huge fan of the flavor combos. I feel like they were really trying to go out there but often times the fruit flavors used didn't really match up with the tea or nut flavors. The flavors were not balanced at all, often just very muddled with one flavor either being too strong or not strong enough, or interfering with a fruits flavor. Some of the cakes were floral tasting from tea or almost slightly savory. The cakes are not sweet at all. Maybe I was just unlucky and tried the worst flavors. Again the lemon shaped one was the best because passionfruit flavor was sharp enough to cut through the other flavors - Parking is street and can be hit or miss - Expensive - I ordered a drink and I don't see it on the menu, or I just can't remember it. That's how different it was. I do remember thinking it was so sweet Would I go again? Absolutely not
