    Tahchin
    Afshin D.

Cozy, casual spot to treat yourself to some high quality kabob and Persian food. I tried the soltani as well as their tahchin, and both were deliciuos. There was one person working and handling everything, and he was very kind and freindly, so nothing to complain about the service. The restaurant itself is not fancy or particulary nice, but it really is all about the food, so come with the right expectations. The prices are also very affordable. Defintely give this place a try.

My Family of 5 went in as a recommendation of my previous Uber Driver Amir to try the best Persian food in La Jolla!! Hands down the best!!! We had Shis Kbob, and Chicken kbob The chef was amazing, working alone made it enjoyable and food was delivered fresh and it was incredibly tasty, especially the Burberry rice loved it so much, even 2 picky eaters in the group especially my Mom fell in love with the food... she said she is definitely coming back!! Chef A even gave us free Soup (lentil with herbs... I think it's called ASH Resthe with out the noodles, .., was delish Definitely coming back

I came across their ad in Yahoo. I was driving to Harbor Freight, so I stopped here to see what the great reviews were raving about. There were still auto mechanics working on Sunday, at Phan's Auto Repair. Their neighbors seemed really busy too, in this industrial complex area. I chose what the cook told me was the most popular entree, the grilled round beef. Here's the picture in the window. He said "here taste it, if you don't like it, you don't pay". The meant tasted gamey, and I asked if there was lamb in it. He said no lamb. I like gamey meat, tho. Lamb is my favorite meat. The salad dressing was delicious. It was like a thousand island with mint in it. Not enough salad in that small compartment! Meat was flavorful, tho I kept having to put it in the microwave to heat it up. I think dried out the meat a bit. I would give my experience 5 stars, but I didn't get enough food, and was still hungry. They only give you what they could fit in a compartment takeout box, as pictured. So no leftovers, but doesn't cost $18.95 either. $12.99 portion for 1 kabab, not two. I bet the food truck does good business during the weekdays, when the industrial park is bustling with workers. I came on a Sunday.

    Koobideh and jooje kabob

Absolutely delicious Persian food! We ordered koobideh, joojeh kabob, and fesenjoon -- all were incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The meat was juicy and tender, and the fesenjoon had the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. On top of that, the owner was very warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

Twice I got complimentary soup, twice did not. Maybe end of day is better in terms of what they give out. Sometimes there's condiments. Their outdoor eating area kind of changes too a bit sometimes. I get the OG taco usually and my gf gets the ceviche. Never had complaint although on most recent trip the ceviche seemed smaller portion. The taco was 5.99 each and fish seemed bigger than usual. I kind of suspect that as they close down they give bigger portions of what they have left. They had sold out of octopus and other menu items. Do try get there before 6:30pm cause they do start packing around 6:45 ish. Quality is good, tastes fresh. Tacos were filling for just $12. You're probably not supposed to but I often park in complex across street but street parking is easier. There's a $1 fee for credit so bring cash if that's a concern. Looking out and seeing this one truck, alone, with a line of people, I was like "Ooh, Ohh, look!" The staff/window gal/cook/chef/owner were all very friendly. It was just a nice experience walking up to the window. Nicely done, Seoul People. The service was extremely quick. I finished paying and she was like, "Here ya go" as she handed me a plate. WOW! That was fast! The Seoul Man Bulgogi was very tasty. It was hot (temperature) and nicely plated with fresh vegetables and garnish. Nicely done and a definite re-order for next time. A goodly portion to share with someone too. The rib-eye was flavorful and cooked just right. Being a local Hawaiian kid from the islands, I love rice and this was some good sticky rice like I grew up with in Hawaii. Nicely done. The tables are nice, but very dirty and unhealthy. If I had my own food truck there, I would go out and wipe them off before I opened and every once in awhile after, just because I'm that kind of guy. They were actually kind of disgusting and we were very careful with our 5yo son and what he was touching. It looked like there was a lot of bird poop on the tables. Birds near food in San Diego? Go figure.... ;) I realize that the tables belong to the city, but I, personally, would clean them off before I opened. Just a thought. Downside. There are not a lot of trash options, only one. When we were all pau, I looked around and there was only one trash can nearby and it was overflowing. I think it has nothing to do the the Seoul Man Food Truck and may be a San Diego city thing, but it looked bad and was kind of a bummer to see that trash overflowing. I would have not known of the Seoul Man Food Truck was here, but I will definitely check their location the next time I'm in San Diego. Very good food! Oh, and don't forget to redeem the $2 off any entree, because I did since I just now saw it as I posted my review. :(

The loaded fries, and Nachos, and Quesadilla all sounded great but in the end I decided to try the Cali Burrito. There are several options for the Cali Burrito, you pick Chicken, Carne Asada, Pork, etc. You also pick Guacamole or Sour Cream to get stuffed inside. The burrito was not as large as some other places, but it did feel hefty, so you could tell it was stuffed. I cut it in half and took a picture so you could see what it was like inside, and you can see it is full of many ingredients and it is packed. It was very tasty, flavorful, and 1 whole burrito should be enough to satisfy most people. I think it was $14 and the price seems steep but it is worth it. The chicken was prepared a little different than other places that serve Cali burritos, and there were less fries inside, but it was delicious and I was full when I was done. The staff was very nice and friendly, big smiles on their face, and seemed happy to help and serve some great food. If you get a chance to try them you should.
