The dhamaka fries are a personal favorite and serve as a full meal in themself. If you like some spice, the Nashville chicken and spicy maple wings are a great obvious choice. They also had a special spicy chicken Cesar sandwich that I wish they would put on the everyday menu. It was that good. Since visiting a few Nashville style hot chicken sandwich shops in California, I have fallen in love with them. I'm from NJ and there weren't any that I knew of until Namkeen. The chicken sandwich was very delicious with a good amount of heat. It has some curry undertones. The bun was slightly toasted, and the slaw was on point. The grilled cheese was on my favorite bread. So I recently got into the hot chicken craze. I've tried Birdies in parsippany and Dave's hot chicken. Birdies was trash and Dave's was good. But let me tell you they could barely hold Namkeens jock strap. Wow was that sandwich flavorful and crispy. The sauce, bread, coleslaw were just all in harmony. Dhamaka Fries - 3 - There was just too much happening and couldn't understand the taste. It was just a lot of mushy stuff. I have no words for this place except phenomenal! if you guys haven't tried this place then you're missing a great void in your life it's a MUST TRY and believe me they definitely live up to the hype. We ordered in advance through their website to avoid having to wait but regardless we still had to wait 15-20 minutes in addition to time given for pick up due to "busy day." Which was kind of disappointing since we had to be somewhere afterwards so definitely give yourself leeway time. Overall, they can work on their customer service since staff was reluctant to customers' time and not apologetic. We ordered hot Nashville sandwich(not included in the picture). The tikkaville sandwich is so good nice big piece of chicken which i love so much. The flavor the condiments on the sandwich is great too. The seasoning may be a bit strong and doesn't come off tasting like what I thought was supposed to taste like chicken tikka. The fries have the same strong taste but still tastes great! My friends have been raving about this place for a while and then I saw it on Tik Tok and I decided I had to check it out. We picked up the food so it was slightly colder by the time I got around to eating it, but if I ate there while it was hotter I'm sure the food would have been even more amazing. Nonetheless, it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I got. The chicken was so well flavored and wasn't dry. I got medium spice level which definitely had some kick to it but I was able to eat it fine. I don't know if I would have been able to handle the hot level, but maybe next time if I have ice cream handy. Im a wuss when it comes to spice so this had a bigger punch than expected. But for Namkeen I was ok with it. Excellent tasting chicken cooked to perfection, you can tell this was freshly made. Topped with pickles and a little aioli, this was a sandwich that was amazing from start to finish. The fries were also fantastic and had just the right amount of seasoning and spices. They do have a counter/bar along with several tables. Staff was great and my order was bought out immediately. They're simply doing a great job here. This is a very small operation with limited indoor seating, so it's predominantly take out. The flavor on the chicken is excellent. Medium spice will test the limits for most people. I found it just the right spice target for me. I think the hot would be uncomfortable. The part that didn't quite work for me was that all of the chicken is boneless. I'd prefer a more traditional bone-in option, but it didn't detract from the overall flavor. The waffles were just ok. Love the chicken and waffle combo. The waffles lacked some crispness. Not sure if that's due to the 15 or so minute travel time home. Was pretty disappointed with the fries as well. They also lacked a crispness. They were simply a limp disappointment. The upsell for masala seasoning for an extra buck is laughable. While I really enjoyed the flavor of the chicken, I just don't see myself rushing back. The overall price point is quite reasonable. The food is produced at a quick pace. The staff is working hard, and they have their act together. They were polite and friendly as well, which goes a long way in my book. read more
