Lemongrass Chicken Noodles
Regina K.

The order was taken and food came out quickly, boba was really good, chewy. The chicken was really flavorful and delicious, but the rest of it had no flavor or sauce. I didn't really like the sauce provided on the side, it didn't go well with the meal. This shop was in the Dallas Farmer's Market, inside and under a roof luckily, since it was raining outside.

Chicken Dumplings and Rice Bowl

Great food! It was ready very fast! And there was live music! The chicken dumplings and rice bowl were awesome!

Came to the Dallas Farmers Market with my family and had the Rice bowl again. This time with the Asian bbq. It was ok. My favorite is still the lemongrass chicken. Overall the food is fresh and filling.

Taro milk tea with honey boba
Tina T.

Disclaimer: This review is based on the boba tea only. Ordered the taro milk tea with boba at 75% sweetness. The boba pearls were undercooked, making them hard in the center, not soft and chewy like they normally are. The drink itself was a little on the sweet side even with less sugar and the texture was a bit gritty. Not sure if it's because it wasn't mixed well or what, but I could tell it was from a powder mix. I was able to taste the tea flavor though. Service was friendly and efficient. It wasn't busy when I stopped by and my drink was ready in a couple of minutes and served with a smile. I would consider trying the food here the next time I'm in the area since it's conveniently located inside the farmer's market, but I probably wouldn't get the boba again.

I really enjoyed the Thai tea and rice bowl with honey pork? I can't remember which pork I chose, but it was good and fulfilling!

Food was sinful. I can repeat the same for service although I will say splendid! I agree with other diners by saying I will return for another visit. I devoured everything. See shared posts. However the veggie rolls were less successful. Large portions; great value. Enjoyed for lunch and again the very next day! Nom nom!!!

Flavorful banh mi and fresh veggie filled spring rolls! So yummy! Banh mi: It's been forever since I ate banh mi, so it was a good choice while choosing what to eat at Dallas Farmers Market. The meat was so flavorful, and with all the fresh veggie ingredient, it all worked so well together. I loved every bite of it. Spring roll: It was kinda messy to eat the spring rolls because each pieces were so big, I could not fit the whole piece in my mouth. Also, they were sticking to each other, so when I try to eat them, it was kinda breaking apart. I managed to eat, dropping stuff everywhere, but they were fresh and good. With a dip into peanut sauce, my mouth was filled with flavor. I can definitely eat this everyday for my meal and pretend I am eating healthy lol.

Nicely done Vietnamese-American place located at the Dallas Farmers Market. While browsing around, this place caught my eye as I was looking for something healthy & substantial to hold me over for the day while I go look at the various vendors at the Farmers Market. I had the lemongrass chicken. The sautéed red cabbage was a nice contrast to the raw & pickled veggies that came with the meal. The two sauces that came with the bowl were pretty on point, too. I wish they gave a little bit more protein, but good nonetheless. Overall, it's a great choice for something affordable & fresh.

Vegan pho! So good!!!!
Jacqueline T.

First time having vegan pho and it was so good!!! This truly hit the spot after shopping around the market when it was a bit cool outside. So glad we popped in to get some food because we loved it! They ladies handing out the orders in the window are so sweet too. Great service all around.

Honey Grilled Pork Banh Mi

Went to the Dallas Farmers Market today and saw this Restaurant with cute lights. The Banhmi was expensive in my opinion ( $10.50) and it was pretty small. The bread was soft but there was more pate than meat. It tasted pretty good but I didn't think it justified the quantity and price.

Fresh Spring Rolls (goi Cuon)
Eliza H.

So excited to find solid dairy free Boba (the basil mint lemonade tea is amazing) and the Goi Cuon (fresh spring rolls) are an insanely large portion. I wondered why they insisted that I take a fork.. then I opened the box.

Ive only had the banh mi but this is the only place I will get them from because theyre that amazing!

The chicken that was in my "vegetarian" pho
Laura J.

Order e a veggie pho on Uber eats and received a broth with tofu, chicken, and steak! As a vegan, I was unable to eat it. Very careless to put meat on a vegetarian dish. Unfortunately I will not be giving them another chance.

A spicy chinese noodle shop that far exceeded my expectations…read more Jin was an exceptionally attentive employee who would often check up on us and top off our waters. Excellent service despite having no reason to, since we ordered through a qr code located on the tables. I don't write about customer service unless it was genuinely something that was worth telling people. He gave us a good rundown of the situation of the restaurant and provided an in-depth explanation of the menu for my first time there. He gave us plenty of options to choose from and explained what consisted in each of the dishes. Which helped us ultimately make our choices and I enjoyed every single dish. The interior was well decorated with modern/futuristic reflective aesthetics. A great touch that made me love it even more was the dimming bags put over the spotlights adorned around the ceiling to help cut down on glare and make it a bit more comfortable to enjoy the atmosphere. The mixed vegetable salad was a very pleasant blend of sweet, savory, and Sichuan spice. I originally was going for the cucumber but I was interested in more variety and opted to try more of what they had to offer. It still hit as a refreshing appetizer to complement our other dishes. 9/10 The black pepper noodles were actually amazing with how it balanced out a lot of strong, potentially overwhelming flavors. The black pepper was perfectly seasoning the fiery stir fried bell pepper and noodles. The beef played a great supporting role to elevate the dish without making it all about itself. 8.5/10 The Number 1 rice noodles in soup was powerful without being indulgent. The flavors hit hot and hard but still savory and tastefully diverse. Jin recommended it as the noodles have a very pleasant chew and had a diverse plating with bok choy, pickled mustard, and an egg to top it off. 8.5/10 Overall I enjoyed this place completely and will 100% return when I come back to Texas.

Mot Hai Ba is an East Dallas gem serving delicious elevated Vietnamese food and creative cocktails…read more We stopped in recently to get our monthly fix and of course everything was amazing. I had two seasonal signatures that were perfect summer refreshers. My first was a pineapple rum cocktail called Lewis Street Daiquiri. The second was a very creative spin on a Negroni made with tequila instead of gin. Lewis Street Daiquiri uses a pineapple rum combined with Yuzu Kosho cordial. A yuzu kosho cordial is a sweet, syrup flavored with yuzu citrus and a spicy Japanese chili paste. It's a creative way bartenders add sweetness, acidity, and a spicy kick to recipes. It definitely had all of that along with a bit of a sour feel to it with some light froth from some vigorous shaking. It's really tasty. The second cocktail is JuJu's Negroni. I've never seen a tequila Negroni variation. They use a Blanco tequila, JuJu's coffee, Pamplemousse (grapefruit), and coconut. JuJu is a local East Dallas coffee shop around the corner from MHB. I love the local touch to use a neighbor's ingredient. I cant remember why is has a red tint given the ingredients, but it must be the combination of the coffee and grapefruit liqueur. I think i remember them saying they clarified some combination of the ingredients, but i cant remember. Regardless, it was delicious ams you should definitely try it. You don't need an excuse to go to MHB because it's one of the best restaurants in Dallas and is Michelin recommended. I would go@back for both of these cocktails like we do for the world famous garlic noodles. Go try these beauties and visit our hood because it's one of the best joints we have to offer in Dallas. There are plenty of noodles and vegetables. Absolutely amazing. TOS is probably my 6th review and it's always the same! The recipe is consistent, with the same rich flavor. The staff is kind, the location is beautiful and quiet. Parking is very hard to come by, they only have a few spaces and are typically full. I haven't been a fan of the alcohol menu, but oh well, the food is the real reason to come here in the first place. We will continue to come here.

Solid neighborhood jaunt. Been coming here for years. I favor the Veggie Gyoza and Spicy Dumplings…read more Dumplings are steamed to perfection with no added sauce necessary. Green tea was tasty. We've enjoyed the martinis and Sapporos. You have a fusion of Asian items here. Lots of solid entree options. Ramen broths are to your preference- creamy /silkier vs protein forward/ peppery. Delicious jammy egg in the ramen options. Place tends to be chill during the week. Parking can be a task, as it's Lower Greenville. To be fair, our most recent visit was the weekend of St. Patrick's Day fest. So, spots were marked off and limited. Somewhere between a jam-packed place and us, our sake flight got forgotten. No worries. The were able to deduct it. All in all, a savory time. Enjoy!
