I got a honey grilled pork banh mi which was pretty good. The bread was perfect and one order is filling.

This review is solely based off of the drinks there because I didn't have any of their food. I was in the area trying the foods in the food court and the farmer's market and I happened to crave boba, so why not try Nammi. We got the taro milk tea and the plain milk tea. Both drinks tasted really watered down from what authentic milk tea is supposed to taste like and the boba tasted really bland. You could still see and taste the powder that was used to make the taro milk tea so it was not blended very well. Maybe the food may taste better, but I would definitely not recommend the boba there. read more

Americanized Vietnamese banh mi and noodles. We tried both and couldn't finish them even though we were hungry. The pork was very fatty and had a strange reddish color to it. Why add color? Natural color is so much more appetizing. Price is average for the area but you'll pay a lot less in asian places. The atmosphere is nice at least but we'll have to pass on this place next time. read more

I first had Nammi a few years ago when their truck came to Dallas City Hall Plaza. I tried their pork banh mi and it was delicious. I loved it! The next time I tried their noodle bowl with the honey grilled pork, at the time their noodles was a little dried. Recently in the past two weeks I have decided to give it a try and they have improved their noodles. It's more fresh and soft. This is the nearest boba place to work so I have tried the Thai tea and Taro with boba so it works. read more

Second time here and came as a result of not being able to eat meals we had just ordered and paid for at Elm Street Cask and Kitchen. What a recovery! I've had the Banh Mi here and it was very fresh and great crusty bread. Now that we are going low carb, tried the pork noodle bowl sans the noodles. I'd swear the veggies and pork were cut and cooked specifically for my order! Pork was flavorful and not overcooked, veggies clean and crisp. I hope diners keep Nammi, in mind for really fresh, healthy, and customer-conscious food. I have gotten to know the Food Shed recently, and I really enjoy Nammi as my go-to food choice. You order your meal at the counter and they call your name. I usually get the rice or noodle bowls--huge portions, freshly made, with lots of vegetables and, for me, chicken. They make it up pretty quickly and you have multiple sauce choices, plus sriacha and hoisin sauce. Pricing is not bad, $8.50 to $10. The cashier has been uniformly helpful as well. While I have not tried them, the banh mis look pretty good as well. read more

I came here for lunch and had the curried cauliflower sandwich, it was absolutely amazing and so perfectly done - the bread is just right and the cauliflower is to die for, also the vegetables and sauces compliment very well with the rest. This place is really great for a quick but yummy lunch!! I had the honey pork rice bowl and it was so fresh. The best part of the whole meal was the basil mint lemonade!!! A friend got the jalapeño lemonade and it was pretty funky. Not something you really want to sip on while eating spicy Vietnamese food. Service was really nice also. Great food but for the price point it was not worth it. While they try to incorporate new flavors with traditional which was a good combo on the Asian bbq pork rice bowl I just thought it was a bit expensive for what it was. Vietnamese food is suppose to be cheap. None the less it was their take on street food too. The best place I had a bang mi outside of vietnam was San Diego. It was a real hole in the wall and you could only pay in cash. That was $4 at most and undeniably the best I've had back in the states. read more

Fresh food at a great price . I ordered the loaded spring rolls from the small plate menu and to my surprise it came with 2 servings. They are like mini lettuce wraps filled with your choice of meat, rice noodles and veggies wrapped in a thin rice paper. It comes with a peanut dipping sauce but they also offer you spicy or sweet sauce. I ordered pork and chicken. It was light, fresh and enough to share for only $7.50. My daughter ordered the Nammi Nachos just to try something different and it was delicious. They are fresh, crispy shrimp chips topped with pork, chicken or beef ( we had beef) sauce and veggies. I highly recommend. It was from the small plate menu. I can't wait to go back to the farmers market and try another entree from the regular menu. read more

Excellent tofu banh mi. Location is inside the Dallas Farmers Market. Easy parking (on a weekday). Pros: flavorful is on point. Definitely not bland. Large portion. A little messy-which is a good thing (because of all the cabbage, tofu, daikon, and carrots) and the juice that comes off from the cooked cabbage. Veggies were crunchy. Spicy mayo and cilantro cream (provided in separate containers) added even more flavor. Seriously, just put that spicy mayo all over the sandwich! It's so good. Cons: tofu did not seem seasoned so was plain and bland compared to the rest of the inside of the sandwich. Price-when did the price of banh mi's become $8-9??? That's outrageous Dallas prices right there. I can get a banh mi in the surrounding DFW area for $4-6. I'll return for sure, just not in the too near future and not too often. I just think it's overpriced for a sandwich, tasty as it is. I did not try the other items on the menu. read more

When we visit the food court, at the Dallas Farmers Market, we usually stop here. The employees are friendly, and helpful. Our go-to order is a rice bowl with bbq pork, and a noodle bowl with lemongrass chicken to share. I'm addicted to the Asian BBQ pork, but it taste a little more like teriyaki than BBQ, though I still highly recommend it. The noodles have no flavor, but the meat and vegetables make up for it. The boba is great, my personal favorite is Green tea and raspberry boba, the texture of the boba is sticky, but interesting. The drink isn't too sweet, which is hard to find when looking for good boba tea. They now offer coconut water, straight from the fruit, I will have to go back to try it. read more

Stopped by several places in the Shed today. Nammi was one of them. We ordered shrimp chips and a beef banh mi. We were advised that they were out of beef so we opted for the lemongrass chicken. We got it to-go so I can't really judge the quality of the bread, as it was soggy from the pickled veggies by the time we got home. The chicken had a good taste and I enjoyed the shrimp chips, so it was an okay experience in my book. read more

I love this place and it was one of the first restaurants I tried when I moved to Dallas and have tried it many more times after that. Their food is consistent, fresh, and have veggie options. The reason for the poor rating has to do with customer service. I came to this location at 8:30pm and was told they are only serving drinks and snacks because they closed the grill early since it takes so long to clean. What?!?! They don't close until 9pm. As a customer that is not good business. I took the time to drive there and was turned away with a very lame excuse. If it takes that long, close at 8 or 830 or change staff requirements to stay after hours to clean. read more

This place has been one of my all time favs for years!!! Since they were just a wee Lil truck that I chased all over. I'm sooo happy to see all the new menu items and even happier that the oldies haven't changed in taste or quality one bit! The honey grilled pork bahn mi is literally one of my fav things in life. Make sure u add the green sauce, spicy mayo, and sriracha. Also the basil mint lemonade (and recently the jalapeño lemonade) is fabulous. I simply cannot say enough about how much I love this place... that being said... today I ordered it via uber eats and I have to say I was devastated (accurate if u understand me and my food love) by the spring rolls. I was so happy to see the pretty lettuces and my fav pork wrapped with noodles however, I couldn't eat them. They were cut into pieces and wrapped incredibly loosely so when u try to pick them up they completely fell into salad and rice paper rings (sorta like what holds canned soda together) I'm sure they were delicious before they were cut. The sandwiches are made fresh after you order. Great portion size with a lot of meat and veggies. Bread was just the right consistency and slightly toasted but not too hard.
