    Honey Grilled Pork Banh Mi
    Max T.

The location on Klyde Warren Park is amazing as its close to all the large corporations in Uptown to stop by for a quick lunch. They also get the food out relatively quickly and the ingredients are always fresh and delicious. I went a few times and tried a few different options and everything was always really tasty. My favorite is their banh-mis with the grilled pork.

I was craving some Banh Mi and happened to see this food truck in the area while walking around with a friend. I got the honey grilled pork banh mi with egg and the pork was delicious (the baguette definitely hit the spot for me). My friend got the lemongrass chicken rice bowl and enjoyed his food as well. It is a little pricey for banh mi, but for food trucks, it is on par. They accept card payment and the food had fulfilling portion, so I would recommend it if you are in the area.

The sweet smell of the soy in the Asian bbq pork, the crunch of the cucumbers, daikon and carrots, the crispness of the bread. Are you hungry yet? Nammi was making a visit to Denton and was on Fry St. on the UNT campus. I haven't eaten much food truck fare, so this was a treat. I've had good bahn mis but not for quite some time. A few years back bahn mis were the craze of the foodie world, not as much anymore. So when I get the rare opportunity to have one, I relish it. As most all food trucks, there are few options but all good options. Bahn mis, salads or tacos. Four meat/tofu options and a really good basil mint lemonade to wash it down. I opted for the Asian BBQ Pork. You all know that really red color that Chinese spare ribs come out looking like? That's what this pork looked and smelled like. It kinda brought me back to all the Chinese places I went to growing up in New Jersey. This was a great sandwich, with amazing textures and just the right bite from the jalapenos and the siricha sauce that I liberally doused it with. The picked carrots and daikon had the right amount of sweet and vinegar and the bread was soft and crispy. I really wanted another. These are $7 a pop, but you get a pretty big sandwich, which is alot more that I can say for some other food trucks. They had an assortment of shrimp chips and some other Vietnamese rice snacks and that basil mint lemonade was so perfect. It almost had a tea quality to it and really complimented the sandwich well. Enjoy!

We had at Nammi's at the Klyde Warren park in Dallas. We were delighted! The truck was a blessing in disguise. We had the veggie options for Banh Mi and the rice bowl (which was the soy ginger tofu). The Banh Mi and the rice bowl had the succulent marinated carrots and dikons with cilantro on the top. To go with this, the cilantro cream dressing was perfect! The french bread for the Banh Mi could have been a little warm (otherwise it was an amazing food). We crave for Nammi and eagerly hoping to have there again!

The food Nammitruck provided for our wedding was excellent! The crew present at our venue was able to get through and serve ~175 guests over the course of our evening, and from what we've heard, everyone was satisfied with their meals. I do want to recommend one improvement to the quoting process for catering. In initial meetings with customers, I think it would be beneficial to walk a couple through a calculation of the itemized food prices and quantity required - and then use that to generate a quote. We received an estimate at the start of our engagement with Nammitruck and when we received our draft invoice about one week before our wedding, it had more variability than I anticipated. We ended up working through the process I outlined above and coming to an agreeable price, however, I wouldn't have anticipated doing this a week out from the big day. That being said, the team ultimately came through and delivered quality food for us and our guests, and to me, that was the most important part of why we hired them. Thanks again! The Griggs

Rice bowl and banh mi large portions!

Stopped by klyde Warren park yesterday and decided to have Nammi for lunch. Had not had their Banh mi yet. Decided to go with that ginger soy tofu. My mom got the rice bowl. I was very impressed with the size of portions. Both seemed way too large for lunch for one person. The flavors were good. They have this cilantro cream dressing with was tasty on top of the sandwich. The rice bowl had the same ingredients as the sandwich but with rice noodles on a gigantic bowl. The radishes, glazed tofu, daikon, mixed with jalapeños (that are optional) were a great mix. They have options for Thai iced tea, basil lemonade, and Thai tea that are great on a hot day (every day!). They took cash and credit card and had other meat options. Would definitely go back here soon. Would be interesting if they could make cold drinks because most of their drinks were canned except the lemonade.

    Vermicelli Bowl.

Discovered this food truck after spending the day at the Dallas Art Museum. This food truck along with others was parked across the street. Decided to give it a try. My Husband and I ordered their Vermicelli bowls. I got chicken he got beef (I believe). They came in somewhat small containers, kinda like the ones they give at frozen yogurt places. It had a lot of veggies on top, which looked fresh and the rest was at the bottom. It was well presented. We have had our fair share of Vietnamese food for quite some time now & it wasn't the best we have had, but decent and somewhat tasty, especially if you add some Sriracha to it. For being 'Food Truck' food it went above the expectations of typical food truck standards. Customer service was good, super friendly guys. The pricing was a little too much for the amount they give. Their menu is minimal, but still decent. Im currently on this binge of trying different food trucks & this one was pretty good. If you are looking for a healthy quick bite, check them out.

Delish delish delish! I ordered the BBQ pork rice bowl and paired it off with mint lemonade. Total came to $12 -- a little expensive, but what can I do? The portions are fairly generous, as it's full of veggies, meat and rice, so I can't really complain. I lavished my dish with the sauces they had on the side with spicy mayo, creamy cilantro, and sriracha, which made it even better. The meal as a whole had a nice spicy kick to it, and the veggies were very soft. It's a little cute food truck in the heart of downtown, next to Klyde Warren Park. It's dressed in baby blue, so you can't miss it!

    Banh mi and thai tea.
    Cynthia C.

I ordered banh mi from this cute food truck during lunchtime. The sandwich was pretty big considering how much pork and fresh veggies were in it. The knife cuts of the veggies (daikon and carrots) were very consistent and added to the overall visual appeal. The pork was very flavorful and perfectly marinated. I struggled to finish the second half of my sandwich, but I knew that crispy bread would only be good if I finished it in one sitting. I also ordered a thai tea to accompany my meal. When I didn't receive it with my banh mi, I was directed to pick up my canned drink in the icebox. Maybe $3 is more than I would have normally paid for canned drink, but this was one of the larger cans and Dallas food truck water will cost you about that much anyway.

Bahn mi is hard to come by. When I saw this food cart had a vegetarian bahn mi, I stopped looking! The sandwich was huge and delicious. At one point I had a hard time putting it down. I have one more day here in Dallas and am seriously considering going back for round two.

So the first time we tried this place, we where at an art show. They had about five food trucks and only the Nammi truck had a huge line. So of course, we got in the line. And man! After that day we are in a constant search for this truck! I've tried the Bahmi sandwiches and the rice bowls, it's so awesome! They put tons of pickled carrots, jicama and on the rice bowls they have purple pickled cabbage. That with tons of siracha and their cilantro sauce it's the best ever! Also, definitely try their basil mint lemonade. I just wish they had a bigger cup!

    vermicelli bowl with tofu!
    Katie E.

Stopped by this food truck for a quick bite to eat. Service was fast, and everyone seemed pretty friendly. Also, the smells coming from this truck was insane! The ginger soy tofu sounded really good, so my mom and I shared a bowl of vermicelli noodles, with peppers, carrots, and more! The tofu had amazing flavor, and the bowl itself was extremely generous. The only problem I had with my meal is the noodles were dry after you finished eating the "protein" (you got to choose your meat/tofu). This may be because I didn't add the fish sauce (I'm a vegetarian), but they should have an alternative for people like me! Overall, I would come back again. The portions were huge (thank goodness I shared with my mom!), and the protein was delicious!

LG chicken noodles : overrated quality, over-priced for quantity $9.50
    Jo P.

How could you lead us so astray on this one, Yelpers? Don't you know you should never pay more than $5 (at the very most) for a sandwich? Any more than that and you're just buying air. With so many food options in the area, why overpay for just OK food.

The restaurant has vibrant decor and murals that transport you to a diverse neighborhood. Every employee who helped us was approachable and kind, checking on us after we were seated and served, going as far as taking photos for us when we asked because we were celebrating our anniversary, and bringing out things we asked for once we were seated. It seems basic to say that, but the warmth and kindness was felt from each employee we interacted with, and I don't want to gloss over their good service. Our order: - Angry Pho Birria Platter - Elote + Chips - Strawberry Lemonade - Ube Horchata The pho (a little spicy) and bao (a little sweet with super tender meat) will make you want to do a happy dance. The wings could have been a little crunchier but they were sauced so it's understandable. The Bang Bang and Spicy Chili flavors were delicious. The Birria tacos were good, but we loved everything else on the platter more. The Elote + chips starter was authentic and yummy. The chips felt like an odd pairing, but it tasted good together! The Strawberry Lemonade was sweet but refreshing. The Ube Horchata was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, and the ice didn't ruin it. Know before you go: - Arrive early! We got there when they opened at 11 AM on a Friday. Two other parties were already there and waiting to dine, as well. By 11:30 AM, a nice-sized crowd had rolled in. They had no problem getting everyone served quickly, though. - You order and pay first, grab a seat, and then they bring your food out to you. - Yes, the platter sizes are sufficient for two hungry adults to fill up on! You might even have trouble finishing it all. - Their online menu has awesome pictures of each platter option. The platters look smaller in person than in those photos, but as I said, you will definitely get full. - My husband, who is not a pho lover, loved the Angry Pho. - They are closed on Saturdays and Mondays. - They have gluten-free and halal options.

The service was just amazing. Restaurant is beautiful, the booths were , small and intimate and you feeling that you in place with privacy and yet part of the group ....kind of interesting how they've done that. But the food! The food was outstanding, first they gave me a complementary appetizer of Jasmine sticky rice with this eggplant chutney, that was very tasty, a teeny bit spicy, but really good depth with flavor. Then my beef Samosas arrived. There were four, wrapped in like a triangle rapper, smaller than the Indian version of the same, and the flavor was very tasty, and corn and small chopped potatoes, yum! I had drunken noodles and I added the shredded pork... It was devastatingly tasty!!! the noodles were obviously done it a wok that's been seasoned to perfection.
