Tried out the Thai Penang Curry. Didn't really taste like Penang curry tbh. It was still filling and a decent mix of ingredients.

We ended up going with two types of dumplings, and the Shanghai noodle. The dumplings were cooked to perfection, and the noodles were savory and satisfied. Prices are really good as well for the amount of food that you get in my opinion. We will be back.

It's one of those places that's easy to return to because the experience is consistently solid, not just the food. The cucumber and spinach salads are almost automatic orders for us at this point. They're reliably bright and well balanced, and come out quick. We also make a point to check out the specials whenever they're available. They tend to reward repeat visits and usually give us something new to talk about on the way home. What really keeps us coming back, though, is the staff. They're consistently well trained, kind, and attentive without being overbearing. Even on busy nights, things move smoothly and calmly, which matters a lot when you're fitting dinner into a full family schedule. At this point, Hello Dumpling feels dependable in the best way. It's a place we trust for a good meal, thoughtful execution, and a welcoming experience every time.

Not a problem since we enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying our drinks. The bartenders were great, fast and very friendly. I appreciate that before pouring my wine, the one bartender put in a lot of effort to buffing my glass. I ordered a plum wine to start, which is always delicious and sweet. We were seated a little earlier than 20 minutes, but unfortunately weren't greeted for a bit following that. They were super busy though. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable, and we stuck with splitting apps versus getting ramen. We ordered the shishito peppers, karaage, takoyaki, and edamame. To drink, we ordered and split the hot sake. The first plates came out pretty quickly, and were hot and delicious. Our hot sake took a while to be delivered, and we had to ask our waiter to double check it was still on the way. Then when it arrived, we had to fight off a bunch of gnats that kept landing on the bottle. I guess they wanted to party, too! The shishito peppers were definitely my favorite. They were perfectly coated in sauce and flavoring. The karaage was tender and tastes especially good when paired with the watermelon. takoyaki was served hot and it's a blast watching the Bonita flakes dance on the balls. The edamame, while good, needed to be stirred up because the salt distribution was heavy on certain pieces. We wished we could order dessert, but felt a bit rushed by the server. It was a little before 10pm, so we understand they're off at 11pm, but as a former server there's definitely better ways to keep up with the closing process that feels less intrusive to the patrons. Overall, we had a blast at Wabi house and the food was great. Maybe we went on an off night for service, but overall will definitely be back again!!

Between the four of us we ordered the roti canai -- with an extra piece of roti, since the base only comes with two, roti murtabak, two orders of the pork belly baos, chili crisp cucumbers, nasi lemak, beef haw fun, and bò tái chanh -- Vietnamese rare beef salad. Overall, the food was outstanding. I feel like the restaurant took all the greatest hits from every Asian culture and put them together on the menu. My favorite dish of the night was a toss up between the rare beef salad, the roti, and the pork belly baos. I loved how crispy and flaky the roti was and the curry dipping sauce that it was paired with was super aromatic, nutty, and rich. The pork belly in the baos was incredibly tender, well-marinated, and had a nice balance between lean and fatty parts. If you enjoy sour dishes, you will love the rare beef salad: there is enough lime in the dish to make you pucker. Every bite is a concentrated punch of flavors, and there is a nice variety of texture between the chopped peanuts, thinly sliced onions, rare beef, and crispy rice cracker. If you're in this part of town looking for a dinner spot, I would not hesitate to recommend Hawkers Asian Street Food. In addition to the solid food menu, the service and drinks were equally spectacular.

Ambiance- 9.5/10 Dim atmosphere with trendy vibes. Cool decor and Jenga to play while waiting for your food. If you don't like dark areas, you can sit outside with umbrellas providing shade. Service- 10/10 Our server was extremely helpful and nice. She recommended excellent dishes and even gave us a plate of chicken wings on the house! Value- 8/10 Good value, especially considering the quality of the food. Most sides were 5-10$, while the entrees were 12-16$. Portions were medium. Food Malaysian Roti- (2 pc, 9.5$)- 9.5/10 Was perfectly flaky and crispy. Came with a flavorful curry dipping sauce. Chili Garlic Edamame- (8$)- 7/10 Everything you would expect. However, it could have more of the chili garlic sauce. They do give you a complementary tray of spicy sauces (including chili oil), so this was not a big deal. Korean Twice Fried Wings- (5 for 14$)- 10/10 Wings were large, so one was the perfect appetizer for a single person. Coated in a heavenly gochujang garlic glaze. Nice and saucy while still being very crispy and juicy. Was my favorite dish we ordered. Pad Thai- (16.5$)- 8.5/10 Came with a fried egg, shrimp, and chicken. Had a hint of spice that elevated it from good to great. Curry Laksa Ramen- (16$)- 9/10 Very flavorful curry broth. Noodles were excellent and also came with tofu and a boiled egg. Overall, every aspect of the resturant was top tier. Would 100% recommend if you are near.

He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and gave us fantastic recommendations. To drink I got the Lychee Lemongrass Martini, which was perfectly sweet! Gabe started us off with the Gruyère Kimchi fritters on the house, which were so crunchy and savory! Our other apps were the beet salad and Crispy Vietnamese Rice Cake. The beet salad was refreshing, but the rice cake stole the show. Warning -- the portion was massive, but the mushroom filling was beyond flavorful! For our mains we got the Eggplant Curry and Garlic Noodles. I've heard a lot about their garlic noodles, and enjoyed them, but wished for a bit more garlic flavor. The curry was phenomenal! Spicy with such a bright flavor. 10/10!

We were seated at the bar, where a branded 'Happy Birthday' sign waited. From there, the bartender, Gabe, gave us a full rundown of the menu and offered suggestions for us. He could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable about each dish. He truly made the night feel special and even sent out two appetizers so that we got to try the dishes that he liked. Also, when we got were finishing up our meal and ordered the chocolate cake, there was a candle in it and he took our picture with a Polaroid camera to help commemorate the occasion. A small gesture that went a long way. The first dish that we got was the Kimchi and Gruyère rice fritters, which were one of the dishes that Gabe sent out and a great start to the night. From there, we ordered the stuffed leeks and the dauphine ravioli, both of which were fantastic and the highlights of the meal. Both must-order dishes. We opted for the branzino as our entree, and Gabe sent out a side of rice which paired with the fish perfectly. The only surprising miss for our meal was the garlic noodles, just felt a bit one dimensional. The chocolate cake was fantastic and a great way to end the meal. Overall will absolutely be back; we have talked a few times about what we will order the next time we visit.

I am surprised despite the popularity, the wait was not long at all and we were able to get seat almost immediately. For the first time, we ordered 2 appetizers - shrimp tempura and gyoza, not particularly outstanding, but they came out fast! As we were diving into our appetizers, the ramen was ready for us. I had the Spicy Miso Special (with mild spice) and my boyfriend had the Hinodeya special with medium spice. I personally like mine better because it was creamy and super flavorful compared to the Hinodeya special. My boyfriend tends to get stomach ache and fee bloated if he eats too much MSG. But he didn't feel any of those symptoms. To him, it was one of the biggest indicators if that is a good ramen or not. For the second time, we ordered takoyaki and karaage. Again, nothing too outstanding. This time, my boyfriend had what I had last time and I ordered the Tonkatsu special (no pic, sorry!). Maybe because of the lack of spice, I still prefer the Spicy Miso Special over Tonkatsu (Tonkatsu ramen is always my go-to in ramen spots). Regardless, we enjoyed our meals very much in both times. I think we have found our go-to ramen spot in DFW area!
