so delicious is the hot pastrami sandwich the cheese, perfectly melted, and the bread was so good !!!
    Erika E.

I got the hot pastrami was sooo good. Everything was perfectly melted, and the bread was perfect.

The Pastrami sandwich I had here was so good! A little on the pricy side, but well worth it... I'll be back when I'm ready for a pastrami again and the young lady's working there were very nice! Thank you!

Italian sub and Philly cheesesteak. I split with my partner, so these are the smaller sandwich halfs.
    Christina F.

I got the Philly cheesesteak and Italian sub. Both were very good and a decent size. I had a b1g1 coupon which led me to try them out. Id be willing to try them again, only issue is they close at 330 or else I would go more often. The inside seating is cute, they are located inside a business building. And service was friendly and I received my food quick.

Some of the best guacamole I've had in a while. Hope it stays in the menu beyond cinco de mayo. Really good!

The first time we came my husband ordered the Breakfast Burrito and I got the Sunny's Sandwich on homemade brioche. The sandwich was amazing but my husband just thought the burrito was okay. Since then he's also tried their Po' Boy sandwich and Kimchi Fried Rice which he absolutely loved. I like the exterior of their fried chicken here. It's so crispy and the French Toast which is also made from the brioche. The bakery is right next to door and the reason their bread is so fresh and delicious. On nice days, they'll have a couple tables outside but the seating is primarily inside. I'll definitely order the kimchi fried rice next time. Welcome back for another episode of Delicious with Zach!…read moreToday we tried a Carlotta, Pineapple Drop, Palmiers, Turkey & Cheese Croissant and Monkey Bread Carlotta - 10/10 Absolutely delicious. The texture, the bright lemon flavor, not overly sweet, and full of fresh flavor. Everything was perfectly balanced and on point. Pineapple Drop - 8.75/10 I was expecting the cookie to be a bit drier, but that was just my initial assumption. The pineapple flavor came through nicely and wasn't overly sticky or "tacky." Palmiers - 10/10 Baked to perfection. Flaky, soft, with the perfect amount of crunch. The flavor was beautifully balanced and those sugar crystals were delicious. Felt like I was sitting in a South American bakery. Turkey & Cheese Croissant - 7.92/10 The croissant itself was perfect, the turkey was good, and the cheese was just okay. In fairness, we only ordered this because they were out of the ham & cheese croissants (which we love). If I had never tried the ham & cheese version, this one would probably land in the high 8s or low 9s. Unfortunately, the turkey & cheese just didn't stand a chance against the original. Monkey Bread 10/10 Holy cow! The monkey bread can be described as addictive... the monkey bread is baked with pecans on the bottom, cherries mixed in, cinnamon and a soft dough drizzled with frosting. The monkey bread was so fresh, soft, and full of flavor. The pecans and cherries were perfectly balanced in the monkey bread creating a delicious snack. One last note: We went back up to order more palmiers and the wonderful lady working the counter (Maria) gave us a complimentary one and a monkey bread. Super kind and thoughtful; she actually helped guide us to the carlota as I was wanting a lemon bar or tart and they were out of them. She suggested the carlota and described the taste and she was perfect in Her recommendations. Maria deserves employee of the month!

The restaurant and food are definitely giving Hawaii vibes. This is the type of restaurant where you order and pay before they seat you. It took a while to order, but once we were seated our food came out right away. You will more than likely wait in line, but it's worth the wait. They have a lot of staff members that continually check on you at your table. The food is delicious! We both had the loco moco, one with fried rice and one with steamed rice. The fried rice is top tier! We both ordered a side of spam and the Portuguese sausage. Every single thing on our plates was finger licking good, but my favorite thing was my Ube iced coffee. It was delicious and not too sweet which is a huge plus for me. The only downside is that now I want to plan a trip to Hawaii. Lol I highly recommend you go eat at Scramblers Cafe.

Unfortunately, they weren't really my style. The sauce had a tangy flavor that just wasn't for me. If you enjoy a brighter, more acidic profile, you may like it, but I tend to prefer a richer, more traditional flavor. The coffees leaned more toward being lightly sweetened specialty drinks than bold, robust coffee. They tasted more like a dessert or treat than an actual cup of coffee. Again, that's just my preference. I like my coffee strong. As for the pancakes and waffles, they definitely looked great and had that Instagram-worthy presentation. But once you got past the aesthetics and unique menu options, the flavor itself didn't really stand out. Personally, I still enjoy breakfast at places like Denny's, IHOP, Cracker Barrel, or even a good local mom-and-pop diner more. Overall, everything felt... pretty mid. Nothing was bad, but nothing really wowed me either. I also think this comes down to the type of experience you're looking for. Scramblers seems to cater more to a younger, social media-driven crowd. The staff was polite and friendly, but the service felt more scripted than heartfelt. They had pleasant voices and good manners, but I personally value service that feels genuine and naturally welcoming over rehearsed hospitality. At the end of the day, I'm just more of an old-school, traditional breakfast guy. If you're into trendy brunch spots with photogenic dishes and creative drinks, Scramblers might be exactly what you're looking for. It just wasn't quite my cup of coffee. My rating: 6.5/10. Worth trying once to see if it's your style, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return.

A huge thank you to Shawn for being so welcoming! He gave us amazing recommendations, was incredibly kind, and made our first visit even more enjoyable. Great food is one thing, but great hospitality is what keeps people coming back. As Popping Yolk says... "Breakfast is a meal. Brunch is a culture." After eating here...I totally get it.

Didn't even know this place was here, much less that it's in the building of a seminary of the same name! Very cute little cafe. Tons of parking available, at least while we were there. There's ample seating inside but there's also nice tables and chairs outside with the picturesque pond that has geese and ducks. We opted for the outdoor seating. We had to wait a bit to be helped as the ladies behind the counter were super busy getting orders out. The cashier was friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a mixup with the Yelp offer on check-in, but we got it sorted out rather quickly. We each ordered separately, but we ended up ordering the same thing. Apparently they're known for their chicken pesto panini, so we all opted to try it. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the pesto was amazing and the roasted red peppers and onions complemented the sandwich perfectly. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. I paid $9.78 total for 1 Deli surprise bag and what I got far surpassed what I paid for it. Starting off with location and parking, it's located inside a big building that is called Gateway Seminary. I didn't know what to expect but it looks just like a regular office building but happens to have a nice view of a man made lake complete with a water feature and ducks! Parking was pretty easy but you may have a far walk across the parking lot if it happens to be full. I got lucky and got a spot near the handicap spaces. There was a girl working outside and I asked her if that was the deli and she said yes and held the door open for me. Inside is like a regular little deli cafe where you order from a counter. Both employees that I talked to were friendly and kind. It was an easy transaction as they already had the bag of food waiting in the cooler for me. Now for the food, I received a delicious orange cranberry muffin. The label says it was made by Old Town Baking Company in Rancho Cucamonga. My son and I split it and we both agreed it was the best Orange cranberry muffin we have ever had. I also received a nice size cup of soup. I'm not sure what kind of soup it was but it had veggies in it and it was delicious and tasted like it was made from scratch. I also received a large Harvest salad that was nicely put together and I gave it to my bf for his lunch. The last box was a large container with seasoned rice, noodles, broccoli and carrots, caramelized onions and topped with 4 large grilled shrimp. I'm having some of that for lunch today and it is delicious ! This place far exceeded my expectations. The food tastes like it was prepared by an experienced chef and I really appreciate that. I would not mind paying full price knowing the quality of food they serve. Highly recommend.

I ordered a diced ham scramble with homestyle potatoes. The ham in the photo looked sautéed with some char, but in person it tasted more parboiled/warmed than actually cooked on the grill. The potatoes had an odd enchilada-style seasoning and were inconsistent, some were cold and chewy while others tasted fresh. A second dish we ordered came with hash browns, they were dry and underseasoned. The biscuits tasted more like sheet-pan biscuits than homemade. We also tried the "famous" coffee cake (lemon poppyseed flavor that day), but it was extremely tart to the point it made your mouth pucker. For $53 for 2 entrées at a diner breakfast, we expected much better quality and freshness. The concept has a lot of potential, but overall it felt overpriced and underwhelming.
