If you want the best Stuffed "Chicago Style" Pizza, Nancy's in Niles is the place to go. For one thing,the tomato sauce......rocks! You can tell they use fresh tomatos etc because the sauce is so delicious. It doesn't have the processed,generic taste like you get at the chain pizza restaurants. Also, I found they generously piled on the sausage and cheese. I ate two pieces and I was already stuffed! The other cool thing when I ate at Nancy's is I met the owners. While eating my pizza, one of them came up to me to make sure everything was alright. What restaurant nowdays can you find the actual owner checking on you? This is Chicago pizza at it's finest! The food is great, if you want something light try the lentil soup. I don't even like lentils or soup really for that matter. My fellow pizza eaters, you about to embark on a pizza that is out of this world. The cheese is mozzarella cheese and has electricity to it and has flavor to it . Where some places use so-called mozzarella cheese that just looks and tastes like rubber. Awesome job on the the cheese. The sauce tastes Italian just the right amount of seasoning. Not right out of the can. It's not over done, it's just the right amount on the pie. Now that's Italian. Back a few months ago my friends ordered a pie with Canadian bacon. Thinking Nancy's would put slices, no, they put diced chucks. OMG,so good adds,a nice smokie flavor without being to salty. And some people might not like a smokie hint to their pizza. I can understand that. But if you like smoke with minimal fat try the Canadian bacon. Keep up the good work Nancy's. You have a fan. I forgot the crust. Just moved to the area and decided to try out this Nancy's considering I use to go to one in the city. I absolutely loved their pizza. They had patty sausage on the stuffed pizza I bought and the crust was definitely made a buttercrust style. I love it and I extremely recommend them. The owner is very nice as well. read more

I don't eat pizza very often, but Nancy's is my go-to place for everything else. Their salad bar is fresh and loaded with great offerings, from broccoli salad to bread sticks made with pizza dough and fried bread loaded with sugar for dessert. Their specials are great, like 2-for-1 pasta dinner nights, so the bill is incredibly reasonable. The place is cozy, a little old-fashioned, and friendly. And now they offer e-mail discount coupons. It's been over 20 years since I've been to Nancy's; ever since I moved away from the area. I remembered loving their thin crust pizza so when we were in the neighborhood I wanted to see if their pizza was as good as I remembered. The restaurant is located in a strip mall. From outside the place looks like a carry-out joint. You'd never know there are 2 dining rooms with tables and booths. We got there about 4:30 pm on a Friday and one of the two dining rooms was already full. By the time we left, the second dining room was full. The menu has a variety of pasta and traditional Italian dishes as well as stuffed, pan and thin-crust pizzas. Stuffed pizza has dough on the bottom, the cheese and other "toppings" another layer of dough, and then the sauce on top. Pan pizza has a thicker dough covered with sauce, the "toppings" and cheese. I ordered a side salad and was offered the salad bar for the same price. The waitress pointed out that the salad bar had many more options than a plain side salad. We ordered an extra-thin crust pizza and I thought the crust was a little too crispy. It wasn't overdone or too toasty; it was more like a cracker. The pizza sauce was a little bland and I kept shaking on crushed red pepper in an effort to get some flavor. The toppings and cheese were just right, and the pizza was served nice and hot. The service was friendly and attentive but the pizza was mediocre. Still, we'll be back to try the stuffed pizza one day and we won't wait another 20 years. Though, if we do, it's good to note the restaurant is accessible to wheelchairs. read more

Very rude and disrespectful service. My kids had won a certificate from school. The certificate had NO restrictions written at all. At the pick up time, he shouted at me stating that he has to make money so no coupon allowed. Completely agree that you gotta make money but you are getting free school marketing and tax credit. We've been going to Nancys for over 30 years. Great pizza, just how you ask them to make it. It's like going to your Italian grammas house for dinner. The owners --Marisa, and Fred, couldn't be nicer, and Ivan keeps our glasses full w/o even a word from us. He's a such an efficient part of Nancys team. When my mother was alive we had many birthday parties there and they treated us like family. Just a warm feeling to be there. We make the trip to Niles all the way from Wheeling to pickup up the best stuffed pizza in the northwest suburbs! Customer service is lacking. Have ordered the stuffed pizza for years-this time they delivered a pan instead. When I called they refused to send out another, said they couldn't be sure there was a mistake, but I could bring in some as "proof" it was wrong. Refused to issue a refund. I am a native chicagoan who once had the misfortune of pointing at the Nancy's Pizza (broadway) menu and saying " haha, and I bet that's Nancy".. Well, it was Nancy.. anyway.. I had to pick the Chucky Cheese sausage off of this pizza before I could eat it, the sauce was somewhat similar to Nancys and crust was obviously mass produced.. I think this pizza is more like a fast food profit-based pizza than I care to eat.. I wish I could say "nice try", but it is not.. You guys cut too many corners.. Food is pretty delicious, the sandwich was a large piece of breaded chicken, oozing cheese, and sauce was a good marriage of flavors. The beer battered onion rings was surprisingly good with that garlic marinara sauce, only thing that would have granted them another star would be if they had better service. This place always sparked my curiosity and the reviews of this place also as well. I finally ordered delivery from this place. Simple and short here: I ordered a small pan pizza 12.50 and an order of breaded mushrooms 4.00. The pizza was good, what I expected and hoped. The mushrooms were average. Wet and juicy, I personally did not like the mushrooms. They weren't fresh. I got full with the meal. It was all for me and I had 2 pieces leftover. The pizza was cut into 4 pieces but these pieces are filling if you haven't had pan pizza before. Its lots of cheese. :) My total ended up being $21 including tax and delivery, tip was an additional $4. So $25 for all. The major comlaint I had was that the delivery took an hour, literally an hour. Their website said 30-45 min wait. When I asked the delivery man if I get a discount because it was past 45 min, he said No. Plus its kinda late to give me a discount since my debit card was already charged over the phone when I made the order. Does any pizza place still have a delivery guarantee anymore? I was so hungry it was a long hour and I was too tired to drive because I had worked all day. Ill probably order from there since its once of the few places that carries Pan Pizza but I will keep the one hour delivery wait in mind next time. read more

My go to Deep dish place. I feel like it is cast into the darkness with alot of big name deep dish vendors, and the lack of recognition is upsetting. Everytime ive ordered or sat down here i have gotten killer pizza and food overall. On site the staff is tentative and friendly. This particular spot has a nice dining area good for most if not all occasions. THIS IS THE BEST DEEPDISH you will find, All the fame from the other places are just popularity contests and if you haven't had Nancy's then you really don't know good pizza being trapped in the consumer bubble of what we are told is good.
