Food Taste: Hmmm let's be honest it's unfortunately not the same. There's not enough sauce and the chicken is not marinated well or maybe for long enough? (In week 1 the chicken was burned often). I understand that the team is still training but, it's a substantial miss. (it's getting better in week 3 i.e today). I just feel like, if they plan to expand, bringing in an original South African/Zimbabwean training team is key to maintain a global standard in taste. The locations in the DMV/Chicago are holding it down but, the Dallas location needs improvement. Drinks Taste: The drinks are so yummy. The peach lemonade poncha is my favorite so far followed by the passion fruits froze. Customer service: Customer service is top-notch here. The staff is not only friendly and professional but goes the extra mile by guiding customers through the menu. Even when it's busy, their friendly approach towards each guest doesn't waver. The food is good, but whoever the woman wearing a purple shirt on March 2 who "greeted" me when they first opened up was very rude and definitely needs some customer service experience. No hello when I walked in, just looking at me like I wasn't supposed to be there, basically telling me that nothing was ready yet. I mentioned that the website says they open at 10:30 but she says everything's fresh so nothing is ready. I then proceeded to say well all I want are sides and she said " what do you want? " luckily the ones I wanted were ready but again, no smile no hello , no how are you doing, how can I help you. It's like she didn't even want me in there, doesn't make any sense. Great food spot near Belt Line area. Love that it is something unique and different in taste compared to everything around the area. Can be a bit pricey but always fresh and delicious, and healthier than most other options . I like that I don't ever feel overly stuffed or gross with a food baby after eating here. This place is so popular so if coming on an evening, weekend , fri/sat night, be ready for a wait or try to come during off peak times because can be hectic to find parking and seating. But regardless I've always had a good experience here , been 4/5 times already and the service has been friendly and quick. If your like me and don't like to take the time to remove meat from bones go with the boneless chicken breast!! Try all the difference sources and various spices levels with your meal, they are free to try and take to table by the water station. Also recommend their mash or mac !! A customer of mine recommended this place and I still recommend going there, but there are quite a few issues. First, I don't know how they could do a better job of it, but just finding the place in the parking lot was a chore. Second, I had no idea that it was an order yourself at your table and pretty much serve yourself for everything except the actual food coming out. That wouldn't be a big deal, but they are constantly running out of silverware and glasses. Third, I like that they bring out the food as it is ready but I still got cold food. How do you screw that up? Everything was good flavor wise and I recommend getting the hot level of spice, it's not too hot and medium had no spiciness. The real problem came with dessert, first they brought out my cheesecake that tasted like it came from a grocery store, then they brought out the naughty natas which I definitely recommend, but then they brought one brownie instead of two? The brownie is nothing special to begin with and then I asked two different waiters, but nothing came. I went to the register to ask again and continued waiting...we waited 20 minutes for one stupid little brownie that was obviously preprepared, because it was STILL FROZEN! I might go back, but about half of my family showed no interest in returning. read more

I'm going to give Nando's a four for the sole reason that I took it to go. I had Nando's a few months ago in England. I had been dying to try it the whole trip. It was pretty delicious. Enough so that I bought a few Nando's sauces from Walmart when I came home. My family and I have been waiting for the Addison location to open since last summer. I figured maybe the hype died down since the grand opening however my husband said the line was out the door. I'm glad we ordered online which was not an option a few months ago. The only downside of ordering online was that half of our sides and our chicken kabob was missing. I know they are new and very busy so it's totally ok. They gave an extra nandochas sandwich which made up for it. The lemon herb chicken was amazing. The medium chicken was super good. I even died over the mashed potatoes. My fave was the blood orange lemonade. I had been craving a good juicy drink all day. We also went out of the box and ordered liver for my pups. My vet said liver is super good for dogs with cancer so my baby absolutely loved it and enjoyed her self. Will have to try again soon! read more

Absolutely the best!!! For those that don't know, Nando's is a chain restaurant that has almost a cult following. They are global. Several restaurants up north in Chicago and DC. Flame grilled peri peri marinated chicken that is fast food but not crap fast food. Walk in and get a table (that has a number on it. ) Look at the menu and go to the counter to order. Grab your silverware, any sauces you want and self serve soft drink and sit and get your food delivered to you. The Addison location is exceptional in both food and experience!! We sat on the patio and had marinated olives, split a 1/2 chicken with side salad & rice. Sangria and a sprite. Love the African music, I could stay here all day!! So I'm just returning to the office after lunch at Nando's. A friend who had just eaten there the day before insisted that I had to try it. Let me tell you, Nando's does not disappoint. I had the half Peri Peri chicken which was the tastiest, juiciest chicken I think I've ever had. The fries coupled with the spicy ranch dressing were out of this world and the corn on the cob rounded out this culinary feast. I can't wait to bring my wife and will be telling all my friends. I've always been a huge nandos fan. I've been to locations in London and DC and Houston, probably 15-20 visits throughout life. My boyfriend had never tried it and I was so excited to introduce him to Nandos today at the new DFW location. However, our food arrived about 30 minutes after the app said it would be ready (we waited somewhere between 45-60 minutes for the food), and everything was cold on arrival. The appetizers and drinks and meals all also arrived at the same time which wasn't ideal... it would have been nice to have some drinks while we waited that long for the food. The chicken breast on our sandwiches was BONE dry and tough to chew. But the worst part, was that after waiting 45 minutes for our food to arrive, my order was wrong. I asked for no coleslaw on my sandwich and it had coleslaw. The waitress didn't apologize, she just took the sandwich away and harshly said "it'll be a few minutes". After 15 minutes of waiting, the SAME sandwich came back which still had a ton of coleslaw on it... you could tell they had tried to scrape it off but it was still all over the chicken (it stuck to the sauce). I could have scraped it off myself... we just left after that without eating the food. I was so so disappointed with the experience from start to finish. This Nando's location is nothing like the others. :( read more
