Came here on a whim on the way to our hotel from a long flight. Nice spot to chill and watch the game and have wings. In our case we just wanted takeout, and Luis was there with his cape to save the day. Soon as I walked in Luis immediately greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I had family with me so I appreciate Luis being patient and allowing me to take the menu back to the car so we can get all of the orders together. I appreciate Luis patience and letting me sample some of the flavors before ordering, which helped me make a decision on what I wanted my tenders to be drowned in. Ended up ordering the Thai Chilli 5 pc tender combo , and Garlic Parmesan 5 pc tender combo. The tenders were average but both the Thai Chilli and Garlic Parm sauce was amazing. I read about Dickeys getting into the wing business so I thought it was time to give them a try. Very glad I did! My experience began when I went to order - Roxanne at the register was really helpful - gave me some info on the smoked wings they start out with. I just wanted a big plate of wings, no sides. Not a problem she said. They came out sauced to perfection and hot in just a few minutes. The mango habanero had a touch of heat mixed with the mango, really flavorful. Had to go with their Buffalo sauce and that didn't disappoint either. I love all the writing on the wall along with the old ads and stickers - they also have a bunch of beer on tap as well as some booze. I've got nothing negative to say about this place. Decided to try a new wing place today and landed on wing boss. I read the reviews and was kinda on the fence but decided what the heck might as well. I got lemon pepper and garlic parm wings. The lemon pepper ones actually weren't bad. I thought the flavor was pretty good and there was a decent amount of lemon pepper seasoning. Their could've been more seasoning but it wasn't skimp. I liked the smoked flavor of the wing but chicken itself could've used more flavor. The garlic parm wings were not very good. The smoky flavor mixed with the sauce they put was just not good. It wasn't much garlic flavor or parm. Just tasted kinda watered down sauce. Definitely think if I eat them again I would get lemon pepper and maybe just Buffalo or bbq. The fries weren't good. I was hoping they would be due to some reviews and the pictures I saw. But the fries lacked seasoning and they could've been crispier. As a wing connoisseur, Wing Boss is a hidden gem. Not sure how the bad reviews were scored but trust me, give this place a try! The wings are smoked giving them a deeper flavor and leaving them really juicy, but not soggy. I ordered a 6-wing combo and chose Buffalo Hot (hot without being overpowering, great buffalo flavor) and Thai Sweet Chili (DIVINE! perfectly sweet and smoky). Both flavors were awesome. Love their fries also. Great HH (happy hour) specials. I had a margarita that was delicious, especially loved the pebble ice. This is not the location i went to. I did an online order for pick up a Dickeys in Frisco. When i got there i was told by the young man they had no wings. This is after i paid 75.00 already. He told me i couldn't get a refund because this was ghost kitchen. He did call his boss who told me the same thing but offered us pork sandwiches. I declined because at this point I'm upset.
