Stopped here with my husband the other day to buy a chamois. Took a little bit of looking to find it since they keep those behind the counter, even though they aren't horribly expensive ($15-20). But we were glad they had them and not just the cotton or synthetic material towels and wash cloths. The young man behind the counter was friendly and helped us right away. The place was clean, well-lit and nicely stocked with all the usual car stuff you'd come here for. They have parts in the back if you know what you need and your year, make, and model of car. Parking lot is very convenient and the store itself is pretty easy to get to off the 12 and not far from the 101. read more

The first time I went in, I had a knee replacement and was carrying in a heavy battery. They were so nice to offer to help and not have to be asked. They both on different occasions took care of my needs and help me to buy what I needed. I feel comfortable in knowing that they are skilled at what they do and genuinely want to make their customers happy. My son has exotic foreign cars which have specific requirements just as most cars. Their stock is fantastic for car lovers of all types. Their staff is knowledgeable and so very helpful! Pissed off my fuel pump went out in my car so I went to O'Reillys and bought a pump over 100$ from them and put it in my car now my car has all new problems wiring shorting out after I put the pump in call to see if I can return it because it's obviously faulty and get told no we can't take it back because we can't resale it like really it's faulty and can't be resold so now I'm out 100$ and own a garbage fuel pump .....glad they made there money ....and now I have to spend more money else where because I will no longer bring them business and I'll be sure to tell all my buddy's who are also mechanics such bs read more

The staff is usually very helpful and in this particular store. Jason and his team often walk out to your car to show you how to put the part in. I also like the selection of parts. The two things I had mixed results with: I had a water pump die twice, it was warrantied "for life" but I had to pay labor each time. The other challenge for me was to return items when I did not have the exact credit card on me. Out of all O'Reilly/Kragen's in the area this is the friendliest store by far. They take pride in their work and are eager to help you. read more

Come on now it O'Reilly's. If you have been to one you have been to them all. I only come her to get cleaning supplies to be honest. Staff here is usually friendly but other than spark plugs and oil filters I don't buy parts here. Have had to "warranty" to many things over the years. Which they do whole heartedly but the hassle for me just isn't worth the few dollars you may save. read more

Used to be a Autozone gal, but recent became a fan of O'Reilly. Customer service is always great, no matter which store I've gone to. They know their stuff here but are awesomely human enough to be patient with beginner auto-folk and still have the respect of the more seasoned mechanics. They charge a tiny bit more the AZ, but the quality of the parts is far more superior. And they usually have a really good deal weekly on regular maintenance items if you check the flyer in-store or online. I've never had a bad experience at O'Reilly and I didn't even know that they've offered so much extra free stuff, so that rocks even more. Luv'n it. read more

This review is for the O'Reilly Auto Parts store in Rohnert Park near Raley's--it didn't come up in Yelp. Anyway, I came to the store to get some automotive sandpaper for my rear bumper and found a nice selection--all the stuff necessary to repaint your car. The man who helped me was an expert on car refinishing, detailing, body work, etc. and gave me valuable advice. He happened to notice my bumper when I drove up and, by his assessment, advised me to stop sanding and use a filler instead. It made total sense to me and I left with what I really needed. He saved me time and money, not to mention grief! read more

They helped my mom find the correct lightbulb for her car, and installed it for her on the spot! $13.45 for the lightbulb and grease vs the dealership's $80 to change a lightbulb-what a deal! read more

Worst customer service! The workers are lazy and go out of their way not to help. I went in one evening to have my engine light checked and the two employees refused to do it because they were going to close in 20 minutes. They told me to come back another day. A few days later I showed up in the middle of the day and asked a different pair of employees if they could check my engine light, one responded by asking the other "hey is it raining outside?" The other guy said a yeah. They told me they couldn't because it was raining outside and they didn't want the "machine" to get wet. First of all it was not raining at the time I asked, there was a light drizzle at best at the moment. Second, the "machine" is pocket size and can easily be covered while they walk to the vehicle and plug it inside the cabin. Their excuses were lazy and unprofessional. This reflects poorly on managers as four of their employees on two different occasions refused to provide a service that would very possibly lead to a sale. Needless to say I will never do business in this location. read more

This is the 2nd time I went there. Last time was great and this time I went in for a bulb. The guy at the counter came out to my car so we could check if any other bulbs were out then came out to make sure they were all good after I put them in. It cost me $7.00 for two bulbs and only 15 minutes from start to finish. Being a woman who knows nothing about cars, it was great. Very helpful staff. read more

I recently ordered thermostat,hoses and gasket for a 5.9 Cummins from the Santa Rosa Farmers Lane store. The order was placed on Thursday. Saturday morning I arrived to find that they sold the thermostat and gasket to someone else on Friday! Upon discovering their mistake, their response was "oops, sorry." There was no offer to comp the hoses or re-order and comp the thermostat, no discount, nothing! The manager was standing right there with the sales person! This is unconscionable! This location has customer service down! I am a guy that really doesn't know his car. i never was mechanically inclined. i went to the one in Petaluma first, and they were rude and really short and brief with me, especially when it came to what i knew about my own car! which is squat!!! Julio and Ricardo were stellar in their skill, knowledge and professionalism. Talk about going out of their way to (A.) make me happy and (B.) to educate me for future issues!!! never once did i hear a huff or a puff in annoyance from these two!! they were and are class acts!!! And i bet the rest of the staff there is the same way. they are always all smiles when i walk in(i work nearby and always come in for auto issues lol). In a day and age where customer service is dying, this location has revived my faith in good customer service by people who really want to help!!! thx a million guys!!! i will never go to another location again! read more

Went to get wiper blades and they didn't have any so they checked the other stores and we had to drive to the Rohnert park store that doesn't have a yelp and they were the worst people I've ever had to deal with. First off the blades we had on hold weren't even the right ones that we had them put aside, then the blades in the boxes they "found" didn't even match the box they were in, the manager wouldn't even out his phone down long enough to help anyone and I had to deal with some girl that didn't even know anything about cars at all, even something as simple as wipers and seeing what's written on a box. Then they have the balls to try to charge me for holding the wrong product which we were informed was a free service. We were told $50 plis tax for the product we called about and they tried to charges us $96 and would even do anything about it being the wrong product. Horrible people, horrible experience, worst customer service ever. Never go to this company, one store will just brush it off to a different store just for them to lie about the product and after all the driving and time wasted nothing was even done. read more

RUDE. I jump started by wife's car and had just enough battery to get to the auto parts store, I park in front and sit in the car while I call the store to double check they have the battery and can install it (As has been done by O'Reilly twice in the past two years for other vehicles) The young girl on the phone says "We don't... Do. Installs" As If I was asking a stupid question. She then proceeds to give me a quote for a battery and as she is speaking, the GENERAL MANAGER walks out to the parking lot with an attractive young female customer and he proceeds to pop the hood fill her car with oil! I ask the young girl on the phone what is going on with her car and her RESPONSE to me asking why the general manager was working on some young woman's car? "UMMMMM, batteries are not that hard to install" WHAT A JERK! Even WORSE. I go in to talk to the general manager, SURPRISE ! It's another KID, the KID who was outside servicing the woman's vehicle !! He has nothing to say except "call my manager then!" Horrible experience. Terrible people. read more
