This is my favorite auto shop in Santa Rosa. These workers go above and beyond every time I'm in there. They are always willing to look up what my car needs so I don't purchase the wrong thing. I've also gone in looking for a special tool or piece and the employees have given me suggestions on which to buy and given reliable feedback on why. They always seem a little busy and I believe that's because they have a loyal group of customers and for good reason!

Storefront in shopping plaza. All the way in the back next to Rite-Aid.

Been here dozens of times for small items. Light bulbs, cabin air filters, can of touch up spray paint, can of brake fluid, windshield sprayer fluid, etc... Always has what I need in stock. Which is surprising as I drive a 10 year old Honda SUV. Always cheerful and helpful employees. Store is neat, clean and orderly.

She begins talking about the torrential rains that have been hitting our hometown and the entire North Coast. To which I reply: "Wow, since the roads are dangerous and curvy (like me, ha!) and it's getting dark, I sure am glad you have good brakes." Her response: "Yeah, my brakes are great. But I only have one windshield wiper, I broke the other one washing my car last week. When it starts raining, you'll need to be my eyes." WTF? WTF? WTF? Umm.. last I checked, windshield wipers driving up Highway 101 at dark, in the RAIN, were a pretty freaking good idea. Kind of ESSENTIAL, you know? After a discussion of "stop being a backseat driver" vs. "stop trying to kill me" we turned into Santa Rosa and found a Kragen Auto Parts. My sister and friend both go into this store and return with two windshield wipers, because my sister wants a set that match. Hmm. Then, they proceed to begin to install the wipers themselves... Obviously, I surround myself with girlfriends who change their own oil and windshield wipers... NOT. A+ for a serious effort, however :o) So I went inside to Kragen and requested some assistance. Although they looked a little confused, since my twin had just been inside telling the mechanic people that she didn't need any help from men and she can do this just fine by herself, thank you very much, a nice man came to our rescue. And attached the windshield wipers. And was nice about it. And threw away the windshield wiper wrappers without request. (Try saying that five times).. And we survived the six hour drive home. Thank you man at Kragen's for saving my life. Next time my sister is driving through town with something vital (headlights?) missing, we will turn to you for guidance.

In June, I had a cooling hose replaced and front breaks there also, but they didn't install the hose clamps properly and caused fluid to continue to spray all over my engine and under neath my car, by july ( a few weeks later) something was dragging under my car and I went in (kinda freaked out, seemed dangerous) but LouLou said they were at lunch and to come back in an hour- (a few people sitting in the office eating) .... so I came back in two hours BUT it looked like tHE mechanic and the Lady were leaving and the lady told me to come back the next MONDAY, very dismissive , but then the man got out of his car and ripped the hanging part out from my car and said it should be fine, .... I was stunned. It was 3:30 on Friday afternoon- and front desk girl wanted to go home- dismissed me again. NOW 2026, I got a new mechanic, of course..and the new mechanic said there are several issues including the battery and under my car there is a small hole in a hose which caused a slow oileak and splashed OIL under my car because there was no cover.... Leaving it exposed to road debris. My car is older but I have taken it in anytime I had the slightest issues. We "thought" it was worth the extra money than ordering directly through Heatso. First of all, just order it directly from Heatso. Kits vary regardless and our kit was drop shipped from Heatso. Second, the installation video is for the S2D2L, not the new unit. Per Jeremy, in an email to us it's essentially the same. It's not. We had to request access to the video link or pay $29 to watch it. Which that same installation video is up on YouTube for free. Third, when we reached out to Van Land about missing items in our kit and a short hot air vent hose, we did receive some responses initially, promising to help get the missing parts. As we continued our install, we realized we had more missing items. Jeremy was traveling so I began to email both the admin and office email he provided in his out of office message. Upon our last request with all the missing items, communication stopped. No response from either email. No support offered with the installation. No reply to my request for a status update by email. Very poor customer service and really disappointed with this experience. They were happy to charge extra for promised additional services but never delivered on it. Summary, we had to spend more money buying additional parts that were missing in our kit and referencing another YouTube installation video (thanks to Seeker Collective, their kit was more like the one we received). So save yourself the extra money and buy direct. Skip this middle man.

My experience in building my Mercedes Benz Sprinter emerged horrifically different from the Van…read moreLand Jeremy presents online. In my experience Jeremy's content push mesmerized and distracted me from his inability to follow through on my van build that cost me tens of thousands of dollars leaving me and the manufacturer of the parts he sold through his online store cleaning up a mess. This is not all, Jeremy failed to return or pay for my new OEM Mercedes Sprinter parts to be "repurposed" as Jeremy put it, to other van builds. Jeremy pointed my OEM parts out to me in his O'Hare Ct warehouse assuring me they would be safe while he consigned them as he attempted but never completely followed through on amending my botched van build. Unfortunately, my OEM parts were never returned, and I was never paid for my parts left in his care. I am now a victim of what appears to me to be my experience: a high-end Mercedes Benz disappearing parts scheme to which it is now my mission to inform every Mercedes Benz Sprinter dealer in the bay area about my experience. I wonder whose van builds my OEM parts happened to land in? Did these unknown victims know they were possibly sold my unreturned parts? I wonder how much they paid for them? If I would have gone directly to the parts manufacturers he used for my build rather than to his online Van Land store and YouTube channel I would have saved his 25% MARK-UP and never had my parts disappear from his warehouse! I consigned my new OEM Mercedes Sprinter parts with Van Land to be "repurposed" as Jeremy put it, to other van builds. Jeremy showed me my parts on his storage rack in his O'Hare Ct warehouse assuring me they would be safe while he consigned them. After two years past I asked Jeremy for my OEM parts and or money and he said he never had them, and suggested I pursue litigation. I contacted the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR), and the state of CA BAR investigated my claim and successfully negotiated an agreement with Jeremy and Van Land where Jeremy agreed with CA BAR to pay me for my OEM parts. Unfortunately, Jeremy has failed to fulfill the agreement he made with the state of California BAR. I find it hard to believe (as it would hopefully be for any consumer) that a small business owner would defy an agreement with CA BAR - "our - the people's" California consumer protection organization! I truly believe the court will swiftly enforce what Jeremy agreed to with the State of California BAR. Jeremy does not care about my property, and he did not fulfill an agreement he made with the State of California's consumer protection division - this is highly concerning! Reading other one star reviews it appears others feel victimized? Could we be well on our way to a class action lawsuit which will hopefully, for all future consumers, end what may be serial victimization?

As you all know Santa Rosa hwy101 is a parking lot at that time and I barely made it there at 8 am. I said OK and walked around sipping on my coffee and notice one mechanic working on a white van doing an alignment- more like glued to his cell phone.
