Napoleon Bakery - fantastic customer service, interesting and delicious pasties. I was looking for a bakery to make a custom cake for my daughter's birthday and came across Napoleon on Yelp. We went in two weeks prior. The gentleman working at the counter answered some questions we had, gave us a sample of cake and directed us to the website to order. We also purchased a cupcake and slice of hazelnut cake to try that day. We spoke to two other employees on the phone to straighten out our order - we missed their reply email. They were kind and suggested getting a smaller cake than we requested. It was nice to have someone give their honest opinion and not try to upsell. When we came in for the cake, it wasn't quite ready. Employee was friendly and made me a latte. We bought a $5 Turkey croissant sandwich --which felt like a real deal for how big it was. They were still warm from the store but the texture was hard and stale. The frosting was bitter. The second one was a little more fluffy but after trial it too was stale. I had the soft Napoleon and sampled the Honey cake (both being their hallmark offerings). Both cakes were good, with the Napoleon being sweeter than the Honey cake. The mini pizzas are also great. All of the staff is super friendly and sweet. They are patient and put care into your orders. I was particularly grateful for the birthday cake they made for my son. I went in last minute the day before not expecting much more than a cake with writing, but they provided me with much more! I told them my son liked Spongebob and I was so pleased with how they decorated the cake. My son was so happy. It was a chocolate cake and it was so delicious. Went in today and so glad we did. Got several selections to take home. They offer something for every sweet tooth, chocolate, lemon, nutty and creamy. We tried a couple of samples, took home the honey cake, vanilla cupcake, chocolate cake , pistachio raspberry tiramisu, cannoli, chocolate roll, brownie and cheesecake ( Woolsworth ).
