As a big fan of both Wolfgang Puck and the museum, I enjoyed arts, and sip coffee with friends in this gorgeous place. It was really fantastic yesterday because every first Saturday is a Target free day on Nasher Sculpture Center, and exhibiting French-German sculptor Jean (Hans) Arp whole lot of sculpture center was filled with Arp Sculptures, his paintings, I was really saturated and eventually I came here to chill. It is very beautiful cafe as the rain was drizzling outside, people pleasantly walking at the sculpture garden, and this is Wolfgang Puck's which is my favorite restaurant, providing high quality food and service, and modern atmosphere. We had coffee and a small piece of cake, both were well made and served in pretty white porcelains, and the cake was the best I'd ever tasted in Dallas. There's no crowded at all, very tranquil and serene. It reminded me of sitting at the Cafe Savarsky in Neue Gallery in NY. I'd come every month if I could. read more

This time I went to "Til Midnight at the Nasher" and saw an unusual choice for a drink. Hot chocolate! I have never seen a museum serve hot chocolate until today and I just had to get it. They had peppermints and bonbons (marshmallows) so I asked for both. The hot chocolate did not disappoint. It was nice and creamy. Not too minty and just the right amount of marshmallowy goodness. read more

Cafe Nasher is nestled inside the Nasher Sculpture Center. You order at the counter, seat yourself, and the food will be brought out to you. The menu isn't big. There are a few sandwiches, salads, soups and two entrees to choose from. I opted for the soup/half sandwich combo. I had the Reuben sandwich, and it was awesome. I also had the beet salad with goat cheese, and it was delicious too. The soup/half sandwich combo cost about $13. I had a glass of wine, which cost $8, and the glass was tiny. I didn't know wine glasses came that small. Seriously! The best part of the café is being able to eat outside on the terrace over looking the gardens. It's tranquil and very nice, and that made me forget the fact that I dropped over $20 on lunch. I don't visit the Nasher that often, so would I eat at the Cafe again? Absolutely! read more

I originally dined here for business and I believe our food order was never placed. The staff at Nasher were great about it though and Gabriela, the manager, gave me a free lunch for next time to make up for it. I took that free lunch last Saturday with my mother and it was wonderful. The staff treated us so nicely. Rob Costa made sure we were well taken care of and brought us out all these wonderful desserts. The Cobb salad here is so good and sitting outside on a cool cloudy day overlooking the sculpture garden is lovely. The Chef even came out to greet us which was a nice touch. I would recommend this spot for those who want a delicious lunch while visiting the museum/sculpture garden. read more

What a gem!! I came here for lunch and got the 1/2 soup and sandwich combo. Nestled inside the nasher, the cafe sure delivers. For the sandwich, I got the olive oil poached tuna sandwich which came as a mini sandwich scrunched between two pieces of challah bread. The tuna was very savory without being too mayonaisey (which I hate) and had fresh tomatoes, slices of onion and bell peppers, and arugula. My only gripe was that the half sandwich was too small! The combo also came with a side of sweet pickle slices which were pretty good, too. The soup of the day was minestrone and was hearty and full of veggies. I'm glad that there were so many legumes in my minestrone, otherwise I might not have filled up on the tiny sandwich (which is why I docked one star). Nothing spectacular, but a good soup overall. Oh yeah, you get a complimentary bread basket - the cheddar biscuit is the best! Tip, if you work at the Trammell Crow Center and want to come for the lunch, you get free access to the cafe and the building concierge gives you a green pass for a 20% discount at the cafe. Located inside Nasher Sculpture for those visiting the museums. They are also open during night events like Aurora and Summer block parties. They have cheese plates and sandwiches but I think only serves wine during the night events. The food is pretty decent but on the pricy side. Decor is pretty modern of course because it's inside Nasher. I feel like wolf gang throws his name on everything these days but they're not even his recipes. whatever. I was really looking forward to eating here, but not at all what I expected. Went on a Sunday, shortly after open, and no one was there to greet us. Staff was evidently not ready or fully prepared to handle just two customers! Note, not all food is fresh! Also, portions are small. Lastly, dessert takes forever to come out. On my seasonal salad, the dressing drenched the leaves and my soup was lukewarm. This place, for Wolfgang Puck, has potential. Menu is good, but execution is terrible. I will not be back. read more

Food seems like it's pre-prepared. The cafe couldn't find milk or anything like it for coffee, which is a bit suspicious for a supposed restaurant. At the least, they could have sent someone out to a nearby convenience store and picked some up. Instead, they took the coffee off the bill. Not being able to serve a cup of coffee because of a lack of a staple food that can be purchased in five minutes for less than $2 everywhere you look is a fail. The Nasher is a world-class institution and deserves better food and service to match the setting. read more

Prime advantage : its location. When the rays of the sun splash on your table through the sculptures and the trees of the park, it feels like a picnic in some rich art collector's garden. The inside of the café is cosy, and if it's cold outside you can still enjoy the view their glass wall. I do not even remember much about the pastry we had, just that it was lovely sitting in such a place enjoying a hot beverage with the man I love. Definitly a romantic place! read more

A hidden gem in downtown Dallas. Great place for lunch and the outside patio looked like a great spot to eat on a cooler day. I had the ancient grains wrap and iced tea and both were perfect for the hot day outside. Too bad you have to pay for admission to the museum to eat here, otherwise I would walk from my office for lunch here during the week. -1 star for that ridiculous policy. read more

Everything about Nasher was inviting. From the staff to the Cafe Manager, Al, to the food to the dessert to the mimosas to the ambiance. It was beyond what I expected. It isn't unusual for them to appear disorganized, but today was horrible. I arrived, had to wait to place my order; no one was ahead of me. Apparently they were having issues with their register and I was unable to pay. My food was ready but the register wasn't. They wanted me to leave my credit card and come back later for it. This was not an option for me. Finally the register is up and I pay. I get back to the office with the food to discover they gave me someone else's order. I go back and explain. They comped my order but paying wasn't the problem. They had to tell the kitchen 3 times before they understood the order. It was very simple, two salads add salmon. As I sit here and wait for my food, again, the kitchen is clearly having problems and sending out orders out of order. This could be a great place to have lunch if they could work out their issues. Update: I got my food back to the office, again, and there is no dressing. They are bringing dressing to us. Not really sure I want to go back again. read more

This is solely a rating for the coffee and cheesecake at the Nasher cafe (because the Nasher collection is actually amazing). The cafe serves decent and typical coffee (albeit well made) and a tasty tiny cheesecake parfait served in a chilled dessert glass. Glad someone posted a review for this place. I had an apple chicken sandwich on pretzel bread that was amazing here. They've got lots of cool custom snacks in a truly unique setting. A great escape to sit down in one of the patio tables overlooking the sculpture garden. Wish the Nasher was free so I could swing by for lunch here on weekdays. read more

We woke up late on a Saturday and were planning to take in the Nasher Sculpture Center and D.M.O.A. and hadn't had a chance to eat. My wife and son were hungry and skeptical that we would get something good to eat other than overpriced "museum food." Boy were they mistaken. Once again, Yelpers were spot on. My son ordered the Cuban pork sandwich that was loaded with slices of ham and pork loin. My wife had the chicken salad wrap that also was filled generously with chicken, tomato, greens, walnuts, and raisins that made my health-conscious wife happy. I ordered a bowl of chile and it was warm, hearty and just the right amount of spice. Wolfgang Puck should be proud that they're serving up his selections as he intended. The place is not cheap but not expensive either for an amazing lunch with a great view of the sculpture gardens. Wow. read more
