The biggest issue I had is that everything tasted a bit stale like they have been sitting out for too long and are not fresh. The mocha cake had cocoa bean on it that was completely stale and the cake tasted a bit sour. The baklava had the same issue. Theirs also had a lot more cinnamon than what I am used to. One of my favorite things about this bakery is that they have Eggless cakes that taste and have the consistency of a traditional cake. The flavors they have on the eggless variety are strawberry-pineapple, chocolate, and also black Forrest. If you need a larger size, you usually have to order 2-3 days in advance. Went here for the first time and overall, the experience was not good! There was this older lady, with an accent, at the counter who greeted us as normal. Since this was our first time we had questions and after answering few of our questions she went inside and told us to use service bell when we were ready to order. While we were still looking, the same lady came outside and now started to rush us to order. We started to order reluctantly and when taking our time to choose our options she started to get loud and almost yelled at us to finalize our order. Very impatient and poor attitude on her part! Because of how we were rushed, we only got zlabia, mixed cookies, and their pre-packaged sesame cookies. Zlabia was way too thicker than normal and extremely sugary! I had to throw away the leftovers. Mixed cookies were soft, tasted old and were not freshly baked. Sesame cookies were good but I found out that their own store price is expensive than the other retail stores which sells their own products. They sold me sesame cookies for $9, however, the same cookies with the same packaging costed $7 at the Green Vine Market in Plano! After this poor experience overall I am not sure if I will go back again or not. read more

The bakery is nostalgic as it reminds me of family bakeries that have been established in communities for generations. The staff is friendly and the offering of pastries and cakes are vast. I came in to satisfy a sweet craving while running errands in the plaza. I was excited to see baklava in the display case. I also saw the cannoli as well. The baklava tasted as sweet as it looked. The best bakeries I've been to fill the shell fresh upon order. It's not pre-filled unless it's for display only. Well, the cannolis in the case were prefilled and pulled to fill my order. I went by Natalie's new location off of Marsh and Keller Springs today and bought several items. The beautiful chocolate cupcake was so enticing that I ate it before I thought to take a picture. But the cake was moist and flavorful and the beautiful icing was delicious and gorgeous! You'll have to by to see how lovely they are. I also got walnut baklava and almond baklava. Attached is a picture of the almond. The flavors were the best I've ever had. Amazing! Also bought some sweet bread that I believe is called Gata. So we went to have some Chinese food in that shopping center, and we stumbled on this little place!  Its a small elegant Armenian pastry shop, just like the ones in Glendale, California! We tried their walnut Baklava, it was perfect, a little hint of cinnamon vs the cardomum the  Middle Eastern add, we had a few of their selected tea biscuits they were all amazing, and they customize their cakes to order, we tried a small chocolate cake, perfect bot to sweet nor filled with heavy useless icing!!  Totally loved their place, is a must try for sweet tooth lovers! We've gone to this place for a few years now. We first tasted their cakes at our friend's house, an Indian couple. We said, "how come these aren't that sweet? American cakes are super sweet. These cakes are better suited for us". They replied, "We bought it at a Persian bakery". We are pretty fond of the cakes here....because they are fluffy and light. The icing aren't as sweet as American ones. I think their cakes, in terms of visual presentations are lacking a bit, they don't look nearly as refined as La Madeleine's, for example, but we definitely like them. A small slice of cakes range from $2-$3. Cookies and baklava here (again, this a Middle East bakery), I am not very fond of them. Just because baklava in general is super duper sweet, not to my liking. Their servers could have improved their hospitality. We were planning to buy an anniversary cake from here based on recommendation from a friend. We visited the store and had a positive experience with the staff yesterday, but today we called and the person answering the call claimed they couldn't discuss our order (e.g., how many people a specific style we saw on their website feeds and costs) over the phone. She said we'd have to come to the store and ask in person. This was after we were specifically directed to review the styles on their website and get back to them. Got a cake here for my daughters 21st birthday. My daughter went to pick up the cake and she found it in different color other than the picture I sent them. I asked them to make a 2 1 cakes 2 is chocolate and one is vanilla with strawberries and pineapples filling. Not my style at all, the bottom layers were soaked I guess. Soggy and gross. The pineapple was wet. The carrot and oreo were good. The chocolate w/ honey had really good flavor but the texture was dry. They gave us 2 complimentary cookies, I swear they tasted like baby aspirin with whatever they used to add an orange flavor. We decided on a 3 layer cake with butter cream frosting and ombré roses (really don't care for whipped icing...) I emailed them the image we reviewed discussed together as well so there would not be any confusion. What I picked up was a 3 layer cake with whipped frosting and swirls all around that were AIRBRUSHED ombré ... When I let them know they said they already weren't charging me enough and that what I wanted was more expensive. WHAT? They had my phone number and email and that was NEVER brought up. They offered to fix if I could come back in 2 hours. I couldn't since that was when her party was. So they discounted me $10 and I left with a cheap version of the cake I ordered. Long story short if you decide to order anything semi-important from here be sure to over communicate with them so that you might possibly get the cake you want.
