Unassuming store front restaurant in a little mini strip mall. Clean and tidy inside and the staff was nice. I ordered from the Lunch menu....got the Pad Thai with BBQ Pork and an egg roll. Nice flavor, but not mind blowing. Just solid food with a great price ($9). The Pork was actually nice and there could have been more to round out the dish. If I could give them three and a half stars, I would for the egg roll and the dishes they used. The egg roll was nice and crispy, with great flavor. Should have gotten an order of those. And the dishes that the food is served in looks like leaves...very pretty.

Tempura Shrimp and vegetables and a cucumber salad

This is my pick for Asian cuisine in the Elmhurst/Villa Park area. Never been disappointed. This time for lunch I had their Shrimp tempura appetizer and cucumber salad as an entree. Hot, crispy and delicious , and with all the tempura fried vegetables it was plenty. Loved the peanut vinaigrette it was served with. Brought home an order of the Vietnamese Pho, could use more layers of flavor in the broth, but enough for 2. Can't wait to go back.

Honestly INCREDIBLE. Super fast, the service was awesome and prompt, soup came free of charge by surprise, and the prices were perfect. Now what really matters, the food!! I have had a lot of Thai, and the panang curry I ordered was out of this world. Full of flavor, savory, great quality meat not smelly or tough in any way, piping hot and fresh. Couldn't honestly be happier with my new Thai lunch spot. Would highly recommend. Update 7-14-19. I'm highly inclined to believe the management has changed as the usual complimentary soup was not included and I was forced to order upfront at the cashier instead of a normal waiter or waitress serving. I ordered the same thing as last time, chicken Panang curry. It was not the same and definitely not as savory and full of flavor, I'm sad to see the change but still a decent lunch spot...

Nathan Noodle is just a small local Thai place in a crummy little strip mall. Don't let the name or the appearance fool you. I've stopped here for lunch and can tell you Nathan's has pretty darn good food and perfect service. I have had the Pad Thai and my wife has had the Pad See Ew. Both good. If you come at lunch and eat in, expect free soup with your lunch special too. A bit weird, they have a 5% surcharge to pay with your plastic. Bring cash and save a buck.

Mushy Wontons in Wonton Egg Noodle Soup.. not shrimp as advertised

I feel bad giving a bad review but I just ordered uber eats from here for the first time and was less than impressed. I ordered the crab rangoons and "wonton egg noodles". Rangoons were good, tasty and I ate them all. Liked the sauce! however, the wonton egg noodles were hardly edible. The noodles themselves were fresh and yummy, but the wontons were 1.) not shrimp as advertised, pork 2.) so mushy the dough was falling off. The pork slices were gray and i didn't even try to eat them because they looked bad. The meat inside the wontons also looked like it was old and bad, tasted unpleasant. Attached pics. It's very rare for me not to finish a meal when i'm this hungry, but i couldn't stomach wonton noodle soup. Maybe I shouldn't have gone with this more obscure menu item, i'll probably try stir fried noodles if I come back and give another chance. Just stay away from wonton noodle soup

Great food, fast service, best Thai food in the area. The takeout is not as good as the dine in though...

Why are their phone calls not going through?

This is disappointing. I used to go for lunch a lot and the occasional evening order. Just called at 6:30, and they are not answering their phones.…

They proactively asked what spice level we wanted in our meals. My husband had the Pad See Eiw lunch special and added shrimp. He also asked for thin noodles instead of the wide ones described on the menu. I had the vegan Mussaman Curry and added tofu, no peanut. Thai curries are a rare treat for me, because most Thai curries include shrimp paste and/or oyster sauce. Our nice server brought the Curry paste out for me to read the ingredients. Although the Tom Kha soup was tasty and I'm sure wasn't the culprit, it had three small pieces of chicken in the broth. The pad Thai was a whole other situation. I knew something tasted not quite fresh and the beef had a weird texture but I knew starting the next morning I had made a mistake. Six days, urgent care and IV treatment and testing confirms food poisoning from either vegetables not properly washed or undercooked beef. Seeing as all I had that day was toast and coffee at home that morning, this was it. As someone who never gets sick, just bummed the UberEats ratings didn't reflect what this place offers but I now see that I should have checked Yelp first! The dirty restaurant experience matches what happened. Beware.

It was the perfect opportunity to try a variety of items. Here is what we ordered: Thai iced tea (4) Egg roll, vegetarian (4) Chicken satay (2) Pad see eiw w/beef (2) Crispy Thai noodles w/tofu (2) Green curry with tofu (2) Basil seafood with extra seafood mix (2) Mixed veggie stir-fry with shrimp (2) Mango and sticky rice (4) Overall, we were satisfied with the flavor profiles and everything was delivered in an efficient manner. The portions are not large and I think we would order two more entrees when we revisit with our large group of 14. We have had mango and sticky rice many times in the past. This is our first time having it with a purple-bluish color sticky rice. I don't think it made much difference with the flavors but the kids were turned off by it and refused to try. Then again, kids are sporadic and we can never truly tell what appeals to them. The mango was not ripe but this was back in March when mangos were not in season. Otherwise, we would definitely return and we are eager to try the other items such as crispy catfish curry and pepper squid.

Unfortunately, they recently removed the option to add special instructions on DoorDash and other ordering platforms. Now the message says: "The store has chosen not to accept special requests. Contact them directly with questions about their menus." This has made ordering much less convenient and has been really disappointing for us as regular customers. Small accommodations can make a big difference for people with dietary needs, so losing that flexibility has definitely changed our experience.
