This was my go to place on the way home from work. Good drinks, good food, and good service. In the past 2-3 months, service has gone way down hill. I had to call the restaurant while I was seated on the patio to see where my waiter had disappeared to for 45 minutes. The kitchen has been "off" for quite some time. Food: Not the best chicken wings you can have around town, maybe if we had ordered them crispy or well done they might have had a better texture. Ordered the "honey hot" which was the third or fourth hottest on the sauce list and it left a lot to be desired in terms of heat. I freakin' love chicken wings. I have had chicken wings from many different restaurants. Native's were hands down the best chicken wings i've ever had. I love the variety of flavors! Mango Habanero is my personal favorite. I came here right after they opened and had to sit at the bar because there were no tables open. This place has horrible service, the servers literally disappear into thin air, like a wierd twilight zone episode. The food is mediocre at best. They burned my kids grilled cheese and served it burned side down, telling me they knew but don't care. I would've told my server but they were no where to be found so the kids are their fries and half my like warm nachos. We had to go to the front to pay as the server never returned. The Native in Rita Ranch is awful. When the pandemic hit in the spring, we ordered to go and it was awful. We haven't been back since. Fast forward 9 months later, the kids wanted wings so we thought we'd give them another shot since they've had time to figure out the whole to-go thing. Nope. The most disgusting food we've ever had. My son ordered the strawberry heat boneless wings and they were hot (spicy) goo. Wings were mushy, no strawberry taste at all. He has had them at the other Native on Speedway and they were good. His gf ordered the salt and vinegar boneless wings. She got strips which is no big deal but she had to scrape a ton of the dry rub off of the chicken just to be able to semi-tolerate it. They both ended up throwing the food away because it was so disgusting. Such a huge waste of money. Will never eat there again. 4 of us went, the Greek Salad had the worst chicken and flat bread I've ever seen, Too touch to eat, bread was stale tasting. My friend had the Philly cheese steak, thick touch pieces of beef, friend 2 had grilled cheese said it was good, 4th person had a burger said it was okay. All in all I won't be going back. Ordered two kids meals and the chicken wraps for me with avacado which was an extra .99$ when I got the meal I only got 4 tiny peices of avacado so I told the waitress and she took a good 10 minutes before she brought me more. It's good to see the Vail and Rita Ranch communities get a few options for dining out other than take out.. Native fills that void with the absence of Buddy's now. Good family place or just stop and watch a game on the multiple Tv's and have a beer.. large bar area, lighting is a little bright, nice seating on a patio area when weather permits. Recommend the cob salad and of course the many different offerings of wing flavors, they are known for thier tator tots as well. Pizza, sandwiches and hamburgers on the menu will sure to satisfy everyone in your group. Wait staff are friendly and fairly quick to serve. read more

Zero complaints. Excellent service, great food, and a pleasant ambience. We went in for lunch today around noon and were seated immediately. Our waitress (Brenda) had our drink order out in a few minutes and was very patient with me while I tried figuring out what I wanted since it was my first time at this particular restaurant. I went with the soup and salad and a fried zucchini appetizer. The soup (cheesy broccoli) was served hot and quickly. Cheesy broccoli soup is always tricky. Many places wind up with some queso-like concoction with shreds of broccoli in it and it's just terrible. Not here. It was light and creamy with perfectly cooked broccoli florets in it. Salad was a Caesar and it was okay. The lettuce was crisp and the cheese was light but the dressing was really strong. Do yourself a favor and get the dressing on the side. The appetizer (beer battered zucchini with jalapeño ranch) was very tasty but I felt on some of the pieces like the zucchini was an afterthought. Thick breading and little zucchini. Still good though. I was expecting more spice to the ranch...it just tasted like regular ranch to me. read more

I've been here a few times. I love the margarita pizza and the hummus appetizer, but I'm not so impressed with the wings. I've eaten both the traditional and the boneless. The boneless wings have a thick, fried batter, and sometimes the sauce is not completely covering the wing. It just ends up tasting like fried chicken. Also, the traditional, bone-in wings seem small to me. I think the next time I go eat at Native I'll just stick to the two vegetarian options I like. read more

So I went there two days ago with some family and we all loved it and the food was great! As well as our server Tabatha and the new Manager Chris. We decided to go again tonight with some of my family again and it was again really great! I got a couple of different things this time and it was all delicious. All the staff was friendly. We had the same server Tabitha and she was awesome. Very attentive and friendly. The Manager Chris again was very helpful and friendly as well. I have to say I did give native several tries as the area is desperate for a decent restaurant. Tried the wings. The wing bar at safeway has better wing quality but native has some great sauces. We have eaten here fairly often. But this visit means we will not come back. We were taken to a table fast. Our server came within a reasonable time. She was fine. Friendly but not as familiar with the menu as expected. Our drinks came fine. We ordered a three pac of wings and loaded tots for appetizers. Then two orders of naked strips and an Arizona burger, medium rare. The wings came fine. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. Finally the naked strips came. Then we waited and waited and waited. Finally the tots came after asking. Plain. I sent them back as we'd ordered loaded tots. The hamburger still hadn't come. We waited and waited. The proper tots finally were delivered but then they brought a plain burger too. Oh my god. It's been an hour already. Our server was upset. She went back and reordered his burger. Found out the other server who brought the wrong burger had brought us someone else's order. Finally his correct burger appeared, but was well done not medium rare as asked. We didn't dare send it back. Our server came by and said she'd talked to the manager and asked our meal be comped with all the problems. When we got the bill, nothing had been comped. Total incompetence on the managerial and kitchen staff. No problems with the server. But we will not be back. read more

Took 30 mins for appetizer of cheese sticks to arrive. When my entree arrived the order was incorrect. However the manager did remove it from the bill without prompting. This is by far the BEST Native location. It's large, great view of most sports with TVs surrounding the inside of the building. They even have a patio that's nice to sit even when it's a little chilly outside. The restrooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. But by far the best part, would be our waitress Tiffany. I say "our" because we had only been there maybe 2 times when we came in for dinner and she already had the drinks we wanted and the appetizers ready to go. She remembered exactly what I ordered last time and always made sure our drinks were filled. Not to mention, the great conversation without sacrificing her other tables. She's a machine. Hahahaha. We were in here tonight because of their advertised have fish fry. It was early, about 4pm and they were not busy yet. We were a party of 8. Waited about 30 min for food. Entree and Salad came out together. Waited another 15 min for refills of fish and drinks. Waitress did not have a clue. Fish came out one piece at a time. Went to have lunch here and ordered a blue cheese burger. It was absolutely the worse food I have ever eaten. They put a spicy awful sauce with blue cheese. I would think if the waitress was good she would say it comes with blah blah and blah would you like it all on it? But instead she put the order in and when I got it the bun had a chunk out of it like someone had taken a bite out of it. After the first bite I gagged. When she asked how everything was I told her horrible. She did offer to take it back but who has another 30 minutes to wait. Seriously this food is not fit for animals to eat. Although I like going to native and enjoy the food and drinks I only gave them 1 star because of the lack of cleanliness of the floors we go for happy hour at the least twice a week and every time we have been there the floors are so slippery and greasy you have to really be carful how you walk around in there I am afraid it is just a matter of time until someone gets hurt with a fall hopefully they can fix this before that happens read more
