$21.07 worth of food Or 1 pound of boneless wings? Really!
    Kevin C.

It starts with walking in the door to pick up a mobile order and having to say three times to the person who greets you that you're here for a mobile order. Then you open up the bag once you get outside to see what I posted for a picture and represents 1 pound of chicken. While I didn't have a scale handy in the car to weigh it. (LOL) I think you can look at the picture and conclude that's not 1 pound of chicken. And then there's the taste of the chicken which has the pleasant tinge of seafood because they're cooking the chicken in the deep fryer that they do their shrimp. Then there's the 5 minutes of my life wasted trying to get some salt and salad dressing. And then realizing no plastic ware was in the bag. Gotta love it yelp on!

Today (12/22/25) my wife and I chose to stop in for some lunch while running our errands. The staff here were friendly and attentive. The $10.00 lunch specials were a fantastic surprise! Its sooo nice to dine in somewhere that cost less than 90% of fast food chains. Wife ate the Habenero boneless wings with iced tea and onion rings. I had the pepper jack cheeseburger , fries and iced tea. Our server Ariana was great and kept up with our table very efficiently. We'll definitely be back again soon to check out the tradtional wings

Good chain sports grill on the southeast side. Consistent food and fare with specials, take out, outdoor seating and full bar. Many TV'S throughout. Like other locations they have a bar side with tables and booths, and a bar side with tall tables. They will greet and take you to the your choice of sides. If a wait then it is brief except on holidays and certain games. They have close handicap parking and a busy parking lot shared with other restaurants. Food has some specials specifically for certain days of week and game days. Also happy hour specials. The only consistency is some part, not always the same, service will be slow. Getting seated, waiting to order, waiting for food or drinks or for check. But they are nice and friendly. No issues with food or drink, primarily wings, burgers and salads and other American fare. Tasty and served hot. Has Veteran's day specials too

Awesome Daily Deals Monday Margaritas 8oz $1.50 pre-mixed but tasty, dble up pint $3! $10 100% 1855 Black Angus Burgers w fries! 4-2024

Dry Rub wings, get 10 free on the app download's Welcome Mat, a $15.60 win! Tons of bright mouth puckering flavor with Salt n Pepper & Buffalo Ranch rubs, void of greasy skin, you may be led into thinking health food protein lol. Skinny celery sticks with cool ranch join the plate, so surprisingly enjoyable, must of been 5+ yrs since we shared a plate of wings! Native Wings sampling ensured it will be a lot sooner before the next! Came to catch March Madness NCAA Men's Final since it was on yet another TV app we don't subscribe to, and it was a pleasant surprise for a franchise sports bar, as first-on-list-to-try, Hotrods Old Vail, a local owned was closed until Thurs :| next time! Kaley took great care of us, lots of refills and fetching as needed and staff seemed happy and engaging. With 5 menus, there's a ton of deals with Daily Specials, a M-F HHour 3-6PM and we took full advantage with $1.50 Margarita Mondays (pre-mixed can't make skinny) they weren't overly dyed bright green, can't complain, while not as clean tasting as fresh made, they were aok. You can double up and get in a pint glass too, a tip we learned later from locals ordering on the next table ;D Domestic Drafts were just $3/16oz but opted for a $6 pint Dragoon IPA craft draft, hoppy and smooth. A large-for-HHr-price $3.50 Caesar was just fine, lettuce a bit dry and some a bit limp, shoulda asked for more dressing but comes topped with tons of croutons and shredded parm. $10 Burger Mondays with 100% 1855 Black Angus Beef, a USDA certified program with strict guidelines so really top grade meat, had to that look up too so wow, a can't-be-beat amazing deal, would be $18+ elsewhere, and comes with fries. Don't believe ours were the advertised 'signature seasoned fries' as they were smooth and looked like regular fries but actually prefer plain fries with lots of ketchup or vinegar. All the sauces come in plastic solos equates to lotsa extra plastic waste/cost ...wonder why they don't use refillable bottles or stainless reuseables? $8.20 Choice of Sliders, got the Chicken & Native Burger classic. They're small but fit the bill post wing appy. Probably would opt for a full size sammie next time and take half home. Screens everywhere and they'll gladly turn on your game when you land your table, no resys though, so just fly on over to catch that coveted table & plate o wings and land yourself some great dining deals!

We ate here several times through the week we were in the area, mostly out of convenience. We don't hate it, the food was alright and the servers were nice. Best thing was getting whatever the daily special was. Monday Margaritas seemed a steel!

We came at 3 on a Saturday , not too bust so figured we would be in/out in an hour. Nope. We were seated after about five minutes of just standing there with another party that came in after us. Super sweet server, seemed engaged and busy so maybe she was working the bar area too. We ordered water/tea, some wings, onion rings and the slider trio. Took about 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and about 35-40 for our food which seemed really long. Onion rings were great, but the little burger sliders had a rock hard layer/side from being overcooked or cooked on a dirty grill. Our server was very accommodating and put in to just bring me 2 mor little chicken sliders, yet they never came after 25 minutes so we got up to leave. They took the sliders off the bill, but they were definitely experiencing something in the kitchen! 5 stars for our server, 1 on the food.

Management sucks. They can not keep workers and we are ALWAYS waiting more than an hour to get our food. This time the arrived at the table with two ranches and a ketchup cup o a plate with two forks, one knife .... And there are three of us. We need an UNDERCOVER BOSS intervention for this place

Definitely some of the worst service and tasteless food I've had in a while! Arrived at 2:39pm and didn't get our food until 3:50pm and one of our friends who just gave birth and was still feeding was served raw chicken ugh! Flavorless cheeseburgers and wings, and the curly fries tasted just like Arby's fries. There was literally less than 20 patrons in the whole place and with plenty of staff some even standing around looking bored this is one restaurant I will recommend to No One Ever!!

I ordered the personal pepperoni pizza, and there were six or seven slices of pepperoni at most on the pizza. For me it was also too thick.

They have some really cool displays and I love the idea of actual mechanics working on actual hot rods in the garages below. Being a Sunday, no one was down there working but still an awesome idea. The food was average. I had a French dip which was good but not memorable. The menu says it is served with a creamy horseradish sauce however I detected absolutely no horseradish flavor. For my side I did the sweet potato puffs and I was shocked how tiny they were and that the portion was so small. Flavor was just whatever. My guy had a Philly cheesesteak and again, good but not memorable. His side was the mac & cheese. The cheese sauce was really good - tasted of green chiles - but the mac was swimming in it, really not enough macaroni. We had the funnel cake fries for dessert. Flavor was just ok. Dusted with powdered sugar and served with sides of honey, chocolate sauce and more powdered sugar. I'm not sure funnel cake works as fries. They were a little crispy and tough, not fluffy and crispy like a funnel cake. Unfortunately Hot Rods doesn't have a cocktail menu and when I asked if they had any fun drinks, I was told the bartender can make anything I want. I think if they had a cocktail menu with a few fun offerings sitting on the tables, more people would be interested in having something from the bar. Our server was sweet and did a great job. It was her first day and I have high compliments for her. The girl up front who greeted us was pleasant enough but she really didn't know much about the cars or racing memorabilia on display. When asked about the roped off upstairs lounge, she told us it was owned by a local pinball company and they use it for their pinball events. I'm not sure if Hot Rods gets busy but it looks like it could be a great community hangout for folks out that way.

Nice hoppy dark malt full flavor with light balance that doesn't linger, very drinkable with our shared pizza $15 with 4 toppings. Dough is made daily and a softer bottom and light crisp when hot, plenty of nicely spiced sausage and chicken on half pepperoni mushroom in other. Really enjoyed it for a local spot. Server Kristi was attentive and friendly. Could kill the country music for the gamecast, she tried after another table also asked haha. 8 TVs on bar side, 9 on the other, not very busy for a Sat night, just 3 other tables. Family side sepated by garage doors had 3 tables. There's a roomy covered Pit Stop patio with pool table, no TVs but heated. Closes early 8PM so make your plans but may cut off those later games.

It's even better when you get it straight from the source. What I love: An expanded selection of small-batch beers you won't find anywhere else. There were like 3 IPAs I'd never heard of before. They even had a lager made with pickles! (not my thing, but it has fans). You can also tell right away this spot is great for large groups, and the patio is like 50 feet long--probably amazing in better weather What I like: You can't go wrong with the food, either. I'm a big fan of the southwestern egg rolls (a better rendition of them than a certain chain restaurant). The sandwiches are decent. Nothing really sticks out as a signature item, and nothing is made with a particular beer pairing in mind, but I'll forgive them--it's solid food. When it cools down a bit, I'll certainly return here to try more lesser-known beers and a snack. The location is a little out of the way, but you won't regret going a couple miles outside of downtown for this.
