Best Pad Thai I've had. I love this place. Service has always been fantastic, over the last few years I've been going here.

Just picked up four dishes for lunch. The aroma was authentic. 1. Eggplant, good. 2. Chicken green curry, good but very small amount of chicken. 3. Fried rice, tastes good but sloppy cooking. This place deserves no stars. We walked in at around 7:15pm the place was full apart from one table which was reserved. We waited 10 minutes only for them to seat us at the reserved table, great! We had asked for a high chair, we thought they were literally making the high chair, this took another 15min. Our elderly male waiter poured our water quickly, then disappeared. It took the waiter a good 20 minutes to take our order. I think you're beginning to see the picture here, everything is extremely slow. Whilst I was looking at my menu, it was literally grabbed off my table and given to another table by the elderly male server, I kid you not. Rude and unprofessional. It took another 20 min for a spring roll appetizer to come out, even though I specifically asked the waiter to bring all our food out at the same time (ie mains and appetizers) the female waitress then started ranting on, that no one gets special treatment here, who ever orders first, gets their food first, she was totally missing the point. And they were the ones not taking our order, even though we had been ready for ages. I had asked, because my daughter is really impatient with food, she wants food as soon as she sees it, and that appetizer was not for her, but can't blame her, she's only 13 months. Definitely not a good restaurant to bring impatience, hungry toddlers. They really don't care about you. Anyhow just to be annoying, they decided to bring the appetizer out first followed by my husbands spicy beef a further 20 min later, than my daughters pad Thai a further 20min. later. Totally infuriating. The worst part of my experience was when I asked the older server gentleman, if my daughter dish would be coming out soon, as she was getting agitated, and all he could do was laugh and mutter something. I think they just don't understand english. To some extent, we have grown in the US to poor customer service from Asian restaurants, and somehow we excuse the lack of welcoming people in and small chitchat and nicety you get from other restaurants, but this was on another level. It pains me to spend my hard earned cash at this kind of establishment where the service and food are so mediocre. Soo disappointed in this place. Our pad Thai was weirdly and overly sweet, and the beef basil was cold by the time we ate it, spring rolls were mediocre, very little filling and this was mainly vermicelli, not great. They are also very knowledgeable about vegetarians to the point where they questioned "Why would anyone push fish sauce after you say you are vegetarian" :) Love the drunken noodles, pad thai and green curry. The service was great. The shrimp rolls were delicious. The food came out hot. But the flavor was off. I've been to several other Thai restaurants. Wow, we have a pretty diverse family palette from "daughter who hates flavor" to dad who likes his tongue being disciplined like a bad medieval prisoner. Natta Thai delivers - from "no spice and no peanuts because I don't like the flavor" to "Thai Hot, seriously, take me to my creator" BOTH extremes remain delicious and flavorful. Any numnut can dump chilis to make something spicy, Natta Thai manages to make hot delicious. We have never had anything NOT absolutely delicious at Natta Thai. Love their food. Everything is made to order. The place is tiny. Holds like 20 people or so. They'd also do a ton of take out because of it. If you like it hot they will try and accommodate. The portions are huge. I've tried almost everything and have not been disappointed. read more

The wife and I were headed to Wolf Trap to catch Noche Flamenca and she was in the mood for Greek. We went on Neal E.'s recommendation of Knossos but with the combination of the only Vienna I'm familiar with being the sausages and our GPS missing the mark, we couldn't find the place. While circling around the Giant/CVS area several times, we noticed Natta Thai, and after several attempts at finding Knossos and show time drawing near, we decided to eat at Natta Thai. Food - Several things suggest this is not Thai food. 1) the hot peppers were served as hot pepper powder and didn't have nearly the kick Thai food deserves. Granted, they were still spicy, but nowhere near the indigestion inducing levels of Thai peppers (see pic). 2) the pad thai jaye ($8.95), more like Bad Thai Jaye, or veggie bad Thai, was swimming in oil. If you know me, you know that I love grease as much as any guy, but the grease made the bad thai hard to chew - though it did go down smooth as a result of the extra lubrication. The noodles were extremely overcooked and it had small, red tofu pieces rather than the standard cubes - the red reminded me of the pork @ Chinese carryouts. 3) the tom yum ($2.95 for chicken, $3.95 for shrimp, $4.95 for seafood) was very tangy but little else. It was broth + meat + a few pieces of cilantro + and the mushrooms that look like they house the Smurfs. I could drink good tom yum by the gallon; it was hard to finish the bowl for this one. 4) although we didn't order it, our neighbors ordered the spring rolls and they were swimming in grease! A few items were good, however. The sauce for the pork ka pow ($8.95) was amazing but the portion was small, the basil that was undercooked and not very fresh, and the pork tasted odd. Between the bad Thai my wife had that was becoming increasingly inedible and the small portion size, I had to order an extra bowl of rice ($1) to pour the sauce over. Granted, it was VERY good, but sauce over rice should be the conclusion of a great meal, not the best part. The Thai iced tea ($2.95) was also very tasty but they filled the cup w/ ice, resulting in a shot glass worth of the good stuff. Location - We went on a Tuesday night around 7, were seated immediately, and noticed several open tables. How best to desrcibe the interior? I think a realtor would call it cozy or intimate; I call it dinky! There are about 10 tables for 2 and 2/3 tables for 4, so this place isn't good for a larger group. The interior is decently decorated but it's not too hard--nor expensive--to decorate that many sq ft. They only have one bathroom here, which isn't so much a problem for me, but if I were of the fairer sex, I wouldn't enjoy sitting down where Johnny Big Butt recently did his business. Finally, the presentation of our food was just ok. The bad Thai was nicely arranged but my ka pow was sloppy and empty looking (see pic), and the plates looked like they were from Bennigan's. Service - If you've ever been to Thailand, the servers here take you back. Both my wife and I thought our server was so cute, endearing, and friendly. The service was also efficient, particularly the refilling of water. This place is a hop, skip, and jump away from me (if I were on steroids), so I doubt I'll be back. I had been here before and remembered not liking it but decided to give it another shot since it had received a perfect score on Yelp. I just got back from my second try and my experience reaffirmed to me that it's the heaviest, most oily thai food I have ever had. I could barely even get through my spring roll appetizer or chicken drunken noodle entree. Thai food is usually light tasting with natural flavors and the perfect combo of sweet and spicy. Natta thai does spicy very well but any other flavor is completely lacking. Oil is definitely not lacking as my spring roll was practically coated in oil (a sign of too low an oil temperature) and dense and flavorless. The size was quite generous, especially for a frugal $2.50 at lunchtime, but it shouldn't be that heavy. Filled mostly with rice noodles and very little cabbage, carrots or fish sauce. Basically tasted like a deep fried brick. Then came the noodles. I asked for extra spicy and they obliged; quite well I might add. But aside from heat and oil, there wasn't much else to it. I appreciate that they use ground chicken, instead of thinly sliced chicken that most places use, but there was way too much meat and it was absolutely coated in oil. I was almost blinded by the glare coming off of it. Again, way too heavy. Not a taste of garlic or sweetness of basil, grossly under ripe tomatoes and a terrible shortage of vegetables compared to the wad of rice noodles and mass of chicken. I almost didn't even take leftovers home but my recent car payment makes me conserve money. Natta gives you a lot of food for the low price you pay, particularly at lunch, but I'd rather have lighter and tastier food. The staff was very friendly and the decor was charming but the food was very below average. I wouldn't pick Vienna to get thai food but if you are bound to that area, I'd go to Born instead. read more

I don't know where the stereotype of Americans only liking sweet food came from but it seriously needs to stop (I could inject something opinionated like the United States being a melting pot of diversity...). I understand what restaurants are doing (expanding customer base by making the food "familiar" and "safe") and I must add that I whole-heartedly object. My mama was born and raised in Thailand and I grew up eating delicious, fresh Thai food. And I have to admit this meal was sad in comparison. Everything tasted like it had sugar in it. I had the shrimp pineapple curry and the curry was more sweet than tangy/spicy (I meaaan, why?!) which is not the way it's supposed to taste (add to the fact that I don't like sweet meat. Ew.). I tasted the sauce from another dish and it was thick, gloopy, and SO sweet with the tiiiiiiniest bit of spice. I also tasted a noodle from the drunken noodle dish and the sauce was cloyingly sweet. The white sticky rice I was eating was also suspiciously sweet but, by this point, my taste buds were probably overwhelmed (or underwhelmed by the lack of taste I really don't know). I also had the Thai iced tea and it was so syrupy sweet I almost didn't finish it. Why go for dessert when your entire meal is like eating gluttonously at a candy shop. This is not Thai food, people. And the restaurant itself was tiny, so if you're going in a large group like I did, you're going to be terribly inconvenient to all the other patrons. On a similar note, I went with 7 people total for lunch and, after we paid, the waitress who took our bill stared at us angrily like she was upset we didn't just pay and dip out. Also, not very Thai (very American, though). There is also a $10 minimum for credit cards, FYI. Tip for Natta Thai owners: If your patrons are terrified of spice and taste perhaps they should continue to dine at McD's. I honestly do not understand why people love this place. I've gone twice because of the rave reviews - after the first awful dinner I figured it had to be a fluke. Nope. I love Thai food. It is my favorite and I could eat it everyday. That's probably because I lived in Thailand for 8 years. This place is just awful. It's overpriced for low quality, bland food. I had the cashew chicken, which was a massive disappointment. It's the worst I've had at any Thai restaurant. The service is also not that great. Both times we waited a long time to get our drinks and our food. Tara Thai (which is just down the road) and Neisha are far superior Thai restaurants. read more

Passersby could easily overlook Natta Thai because the restaurant is shoehorned between a hairdresser and dry cleaner on the less-traveled side of the strip mall that houses Jammin' Java, the waistline-expanding Jerry's and throwback hardware store Stalcup's. But that would be shame because, while nearby Tara Thai(s) and Busara offer greater ambiance, Natta Thai delivers superior cooking. Indeed, Natta Thai is a cozy bistro. Some mercury-like maneuvering is required to slink through the door and into a tiny front area that multitasks as a staging area for diners waiting to be seated, a cash register for patrons and carryout customers, and a miniscule beverage bar. There are only eight or so tables closely arranged in the L-shaped dining room, so large groups or those who suffer from claustrophobia won't do well here. The payoff at this warm and intimate restaurant is friendly, chatty service and thoughtful, delicious food. Softshell crabs - on special last summer - were heavenly: lightly battered and fried with a sublime touch of Thai spice heat and served with fragrant jasmine rice. From the regular menu, the panang curry has a paste-like texture that highlights ingredients such as dried chilies and ground peanuts but is light on coconut milk which is used in most other Thai kitchens to achieve a more sauce-like consistency. (FWIW, the owner at the wonderful Thai Siam in Nelson County, Virginia says that the thicker version is more like authentic Thai home cooking; restaurants tend to serve it "runny" to appeal to diners' tastes) This deep orange-colored dish, which is plated with bright, fresh steamed broccoli florets, is as visually appealing as it is tasty. Then there are the drunken noodles... For weeks, a coworker and I had been coming to Natta Thai at lunch to get our noodle fix: "American hot" and fine-tuned with the aid of the spice tray for the perfect balance of heat and flavor. But one fateful day - driven by a misguided combination of my desire for scalp-tingling heat and my colleague's "I-laugh-at-habenero-peppers" Texas swagger - we requested that our drunken noodles be prepared "Thai hot". To her credit, our waitress - actually it was the owner - tried to talk us out of our foolishness; she even spoke of the percentage increase in heat from American to Thai hot. But, alas, her counsel fell upon deaf ears. Now, picture the classic cartoons whereby the character's face first turns beet red, followed by steam that pours out from both ears. I'm certain that our eyeballs were sweating! There was absolutely no discussion whatsoever for fear of inducing a coughing fit. Put simply, the dish was exceedingly spicy - by multiples over our previous doctored-up spice tray results. Was it that we couldn't stand the heat? Did the kitchen played a trick on us? Who knows, for our bodies were in too much shock to notice grins or laughter. Needless to say, the only discussion in the car was a simple vow to never order the drunken noodles that spicy again! (After a brief detox period, we returned to our weekly routine) Natta Thai is a delight. Natta Thai - More like No More Thai. I can't believe this place is averaging 4 stars and some reviews are saying the food is like the food in Thailand. Disgraceful. They are obviously fake. I'm never going here ever again. I;ve given this place so many tries. The portions are small. The food is bland. All of the sauces are pre-made in a bottle you get at HMART - Nothing is home made here. The dishes are either too sweet or too spicy. They can't find a blend. Who is in the back cooking? Kaffir lime leaf was missing from my dish and it was suppose to come with my dish, it's part of the dish!!! What kind of a Thai restaurant doesn't use or runs out of kaffir lime leaf????? Never again. Worst Thai restaurant ever. I guess this place is perfect for suburban ignorant yuppies who probably couldn't even tell you where Thailand is on a map. Eating Thai food is cool! Natta Thai a Cusine. I remarked as we entered "Haha, sounds like Not-a-Thai-cuisine". I was oddly right. Party of 3, rainy Tuesday, 6pm. The place has essentially a flawed business model. They have both dine-in and carry out, but seem to give priority to the carry out people, who wait in the front area which cannot accommodate them because of the size of the place. 9 tables, L-shaped, very little room between tables. So the kitchen is making orders for carry out and dine in simultaneously, and the wait per table varies greatly. A woman behind me waiting for carryout complained she had waited for 35 mins. The tables next to us waited about 15-20 mins, my party waited 40 mins for our entrees. The waitresses were polite, apologized for the wait and were attentive as could be, but were extremely busy, and the conclusion is, well, if you have to apologize to everyone all the time, why run the restaurant? It almost seemed an imposition for us to be there. The food was shockingly plain. Drunken noodles were just big ass Italian noodles, store bought ground beef sprinkled on them. Seafood with ginger was watery, salty, sweet, and not very tasty. Chicken with cashews was small, watery, and bland. Almost seemed to have cooking wine added to the sauce. The food was like a bachelor with a little bit of time on his hands, just throwing together some stir fry with sub par ingredients not necessarily intended for Thai, but adding some extras spices or bits to sort of make it Thai. In fact, if there wasn't basil in the food, it really could have been anything. So all in all I couldn't really recommend the place to anyone for anything. But judging from how busy they were they'll do fine. I feel sorry for them, I do. If you want Thai, go to Tara Thai down the street. Sort of gaudy interior decorations, but more established, faster service, better all around. read more

I may visit here far too much. Within a few visits though, the staff knew my family. After a call-out order or two, they recognized my voice on the phone. Seriously? How do you do that? It's to the point now if I forget to mention Thai Iced Tea - they'll confirm it was an intentional omission. It never is. I just finished a delicious bowl of Tom Yum soup. The Gai Non Rung is on the way for the rest of the fam to share. As usual I'm going to try to steal a piece of crispy kale or two. My drunken noodles will also be here shortly. No doubt spiced perfectly, as usual. My youngest child is being difficult as she hides behind the entry screen. The staff periodically goes by to help her to some laughter. A few years ago we happened to come for dinner on the 23rd of December. They brought us a box of Godiva chocolates as a Christmas present. I feel bad every time I eat at a Thai place and it's not here. Yes, it's small. Yeah, they don't deliver (only carry out). When it's really busy we don't usually wait. But it's busy for a reason. Ehhh....... i didn't like this place at all. We came here as a group of 5 for Halloween Night and thought it would be crowded since its located in Vienna and heard its pretty small place. They do take reservation if you want to try it out. The place is extremely small but well decorated it. We ordered pad thai and crispy shrimp wonton I believe. The pad thai came out extremely wet and the flavor was awful. :/ at first everyone's order came out except for ours and the waitress came by and said the chef messed up our order and it took longer than usual. We thought, okay maybe second time will be better right. We were wrong, I don't think its pad thai, more like soup dish. We were so disappointed. I don't think i will ever come back. What can I say? I try to come here every week. If I lived in Vienna I would be here almost every day. If I could have their Panang Chicken every day, I would die a happy man. Pair it with spring rolls and Thai ice tea, and I am in heaven. This is a great place in a great area for food. Why do I think it is great? To me, it is the only place where I lust for Panang Chicken. It is the perfect balance of peanut sweetness and spiciness that makes me absolutely lust for it. For those who may be health aware, it even comes with broccoli. A part of me would die if I no longer could get this amazing rendition of Penang. So, beyond the Penang, I thoroughly enjoy being a part of a pair of regulars who cause the staff to be excited when we arrive. I thoroughly enjoy the staff's excellent customer service. I've been going here for many years, and am finally getting around to writing a review after eating here tonight. Simply put, this is some of the best Thai food I've ever had. It's been an almost impossible task trying to find restaurants that stack up. I've brought many people here who also rave about the food. The chicken with chili and basil, chicken with crispy kale, butterfly shrimp, and panang curry are favorites of mine and friends and family. The only negative things I could say about this place are: 1) It's very small, so you might encounter a wait if you don't make a reservation. But takeout quality is excellent. 2) The service hasn't been the greatest at times, likely due to the small staff. But everyone who works there is extremely pleasant and friendly. read more

cant get enough of the Thai Food from this place! its a local neighborhood place where if you go enough times the staff will know you by name and some of the dishes you order! one thing you must not ever ever ever ever skip from here are the Shrimp Drumsticks! Basically its a shrimp on a stick covered with ground chicken, clear noodles and fried! dipped in a sweet sauce and is just slap your momma good! a few things I have had here and recommend are : Natta Thai Fried Rice- this fried rice is full of flavor and ingredients and is very good! definitely one of those must haves! Drunken Noodles- better than some of the best Thai places in the area including a place that has 54 in its name full of flavor and comes out piping hot! so be careful of your first bite! I think they have a fire breathing dragon in the back cooking their food! because it comes out like surface of the sun hot! Pad Thai- again its one of those safe dishes where you order from any Thai place! but here its very good and if you add some extra hot spices into it its awesome! *2.5* I almost feel bad writing such a negative review (in comparison with the average)... But here it goes (Natta fans please do not throw your pad thai and satays at me... I thank you in advance)... Stopped in on a Thursday night. Waited about ten minutes for a table, which seeing as they only have about ten, was understandable. When we were shown to our table, we passed a table that had been open, but not offered to us (about 35 minutes later, a guy came in and took the table, and his friends joined him about 10 minutes after, so I guess I should have made reservations? meh). Took a while (more than 5, less than 10) to have someone come over and bring us water/ask us to order, which I thought they would have done sooner since they handed us menus while we were standing there/had been waiting. By the time they did, I was getting a little impatient (10 minutes standing + ten minutes sitting= I know what I want)... Waitresses were nice (and a little forgetful), but didn't come by frequently enough. Spring rolls were good. Really good. I liked the fact that the veggies inside were fresh (looking). I could tell my carrots from my cabbage, etc. etc. Not over cooked, and served hot (so hot that I had to do that open mouth breathing really deeply because I can't spit my food out, but it's burning my mouth- temperature wise). Also got chicken dumplings, which were just okay. See ew with beef had really nice cuts of meat, but the flavors didn't sit right with me (although my dining companion said he liked it). Tasted the lad na (I believe), which was just alright. Sauce was watery and missing something, chicken had a bit of a weird texture. All in all, it was just not up to par with other Thai places that I have been to. Waited a long time for refills as well as the check. I might consider giving this place another chance- for carryout, if I am in the area. But this is not the top of my list with Cee and Pad Thai right in my area. read more

Natta Thai is a compact, cheery Thai restaurant located in the heart of Vienna. I would never have found this place without other fellow Yelpers. Sad, though to say that it didn't end up being a "hidden gem." I would consider Natta Thai a decent neighborhood restaurant but not a destination. While the space is bright and sunny and service is good, food was only okay. The papaya salad, a Thai menu staple, was way too limey and sweet. I felt like I was slurping limeade or lime soda with each bite. And the sugar could have been toned down a little. Also do not recommend their appetizer sampler. Maybe not ordering this is a no-brainer, but the fried everything plate was very mediocre, especially the fried tofu triangles, which weren't seasoned at all. The solo vegetable egg roll was good...Calamari wasn't crispy and overly breaded. Pass. What surprised and delighted me was their rendition of vegetarian pad thai. It came out this odd pinkish color. I was expecting to be super disappointed, but the flavors were actually quite nice. Despite being an odd color, the vegetarian noodle dish was super savory and comforting. The bits of egg throughout were moist and satisfying. the veggies were cut the right size so I never had to take a knife to broccoli florets and the like. This was definitely the best thing I had that night. Overall, Natta Thai is a cozy place with food that ranges from okay to good. I wouldn't consider it authentic, though. Kinda wondering if there's a secret menu I don't know about...Their food seems to be geared more towards milder palates and non-Thais. The only thing that disappoints me about this place is that it took me so long to discover it. This place does a lot of takeout business for two reasons. The first is that the food is really good, and the second is that the dining area isn't big enough to serve everyone who apparently wants to eat here. Options for Thai food in Vienna aren't exactly plentiful, at least not compared to some other areas in DMV. But this one is the best I've found. We went with the go-to Thai noodle dishes to gauge the place, and they were all great, if perhaps a little on the sweet side. However, their menu extends well beyond pad thai, and includes even whole fish. Portions were of a good size, and the overall value is good. I highly recommend for either takeout or dine in (if they have the room). read more

My husband and I were looking for an Asian restaurant, saw Natta Thai from the street and decided to take a chance. We were not disappointed! We ordered spring rolls which were delicious. We also ordered drunken noodles and pineapple curry. Both were excellent with wonderful flavor. We have enough left over for another meal! Our server, Ta, was very helpful. If a guest wants the "heat" of a particular item adjusted, the chef is happy to accommodate. We live about 20 miles away but will make an effort to return often. BEST Thai restaurant in NOVA. The only one that truly competes is Ruan Thai way up in MD. Super friendly staff, and DELICIOUS food. I highly recommend the crispy basil shrimp, the pad Thai, and the cashew chicken. read more

I'm shocked by some of the boring reviews on here. They say on one hand it's nothing special, and on the other hand it's the best thai in the area yet state that doesn't mean much to them. One person complimented the thai tea but then said its impossible to screw up anyway. First, I feel it is the best Thai in the area. Second, that is saying a hell of a lot because NoVa has very diverse food types and by far no shortage of Thai restaurants. The wait staff are great, and the atmosphere is cozy. It is indeed small but does not detract from the experience. And lastly, they have damn good thai tea and I've definitely had many that were worse. I guess everyone's a critic, but sometimes it's OK to give credit where credit is due. read more

Agreeing with most of the lesser reviews of this restaurant, I have to come to their defense a bit too. On this menu are some truly Thai dishes you don't find anywhere else. One of them are the Thai dumplings. Dumplings filled with green leaves and served with a sweet sauce. Every time I order them, they ask if I know what they are. Apparently a lot of their customers do not like them. Yet, a Thai friend, who knows I'm adventurous when it comes to trying food, recommended them. And I love that dish! No one else offers it. As for the oily stuff, it must depend on what you order. Their pad woon sen has more meat, shrimp and vegetables than that of nearby Tara Thai. My family and I are big fans of Thai food and this is by far our favorite place. I can't recommend it enough. Reservations or take-out are probably a good idea as the popular restaurant fills up quickly. What to order? Starting with the Galangal Soup is usually a must. My favoite dish is the Panang Curry with Chicken. Sweet, flavorful, and not too soupy, it puts other Panang Curries to shame. Other favorites are the Gai Non Rung and the Drunken Noodles. Another great neighborhood Thai restaurant. Owner run, small little Thai bistro, with a friendly feel. The decor is basic, but the food really makes up for it. I started with the Tom Yum, then moved to the Basil and Duck and was very pleased. I have also had the drunken noodles, curry, and pad thai and they were all good as well. They don't normally carry mango here, so go for the custard, as you won't be disappointed. Check it out if you are in Vienna. The prices and service are awesome. read more

If you asked me how my dinner was, I'd say "fine." Average food and average service. The thai iced tea was good, but you can't really screw that up. The satay was tender and the peanut sauce was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. For my entree, I wanted to get the pineapple curry, but it comes with shrimp (I'm allergic to shellfish), so I asked to substitute duck, which they have on the menu. The waitress just said, "oh, we don't do that." She didn't offer any other solution, like subbing chicken or anything. So I ended up getting the drunken noodles with chicken. The sauce was pretty good - it had a nice mix of sweetness and spiciness. The noodles were fresh and not too mushy or greasy. But instead of pieces of chicken, it was ground chicken, which I didn't really like. And they totally skimped on the tomatoes, and there were no bell peppers, which are some of the best parts of what usually come in drunken noodles. If I were driving by and wanted Thai food, I wouldn't steer away, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. read more

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the Vienna/Tysons/Fairfax/Oakton area. Their red curry is really good. So is their satay. They make some crispy fish entree that's yummy too. I've never had a bad meal here. All my friends who have gone with me here have liked it too. The only things that could make them better is (1) if they delivered and (2) if they were a little closer to my house. read more

Yum! I topped off a trip to Michael's with a quick lunch at Natta Thai and was very pleased with the choice. The place is small, but the staff is very warm and friendly and service was quick. I felt like I was the only non-regular there - everyone else who came in was greeted with hello again and were standing around chatting with the waitresses like they were old friends. I had a delicious soup for $3.95 that came in and unexpectedly large portion and was satisfying. I wish I remembered the name - it had chicken and shrimp in noodle shells and some vegetables. I then had chicken in ginger sauce. Yum! The dish came out as advertised without disgusting peppers in it and the portion was perfect. It was really good. If I had one minor suggestion for this place, I would say that some of the ingredients could have been cut into smaller portions. The spring onions could have been cut down more, and in my soup there were slices of cabbage that were too big/awkward to get into my mouth. Slicing them in half would have made it perfect. All in all, this seemed like a friendly place with great food. I'm not in this area often but would definitely go back again. read more
