First time eating in under the new ownership. The food and service is still outstanding! The servers were friendly and efficient as they have been for years. Will continue to take out and eat in when possible.

Easy to find the place and abundant parking available in the area. 7-9 tables in total. It is good to have reservation, if not they will be accommodate walk-ins. But wait times isn't that long. Ambiance is okay, table height is decent and atmosphere is very calm. Staff and service is quick and excellent. Feels like a family owned business which shows in a good way. Language is not a barrier. Food is great, I have tasted some of the best curries and duck dishes here and attention to details is good. Dishes are well presented. Ginger rice dishes are amazing. Drunken noodles has good taste. I liked it spicy version during lunch a lot so I visited the place again for dinner but felt a sweet tasting drunken noodles. Would prefer more consistency of items to be repeated customer I especially liked their appetizers more - Crispy butterfly shrimp, Golden triangles and Kanom Jeeb. Will definitely return for more.

I love Natta Thai. Their pad see ew is my favorite. I've tried a lot of Thai food places yet I always come back to Natta for this dish. It's consistently cooked well and I like the sauce. The restaurant is small but comforting.

Our server Lexy really made our team dinner experience special. She was so intuitive about people's tastes and made perfect suggestions. We ended up ordering all of her suggestions and were not disappointed! She gave suggestions based on her on experience. She was even so nice when it came to customization and sides. Highly recommend the Anolini and truffle garlic bread. The hot chili oil is the best I've ever had! The deserts were really good. Very decadent. The ambiance is very upscale. Good for groups, dates or work dinners. The kitchen is behind a pane of glass and you can see them in action while you eat. Wonderful experience overall.

The place was good. I do wish my spicy basil rice was spicy but other than that it was delicious. The crispy kale salad was really good

Tonight we decided to come back and ordered some yummy Thai food. However, I am super disappointed with my pineapple fried rice. It's totally different from what I expected. It's not fried rice. The rice is so sticky and you can taste the artificial canned pineapple in every bite. In this dish, we asked the chef not to put the cashew nuts. When we saw this fried rice, there were only chicken, pineapple chunks and eggs. No dried shredded pork and raisins, different from the menu descriptions. In our beef green curry, the beef is not tender at all, super tough. And the soup of green curry is too flat. Also, the receptionist was very rude. She kept interrupting us and asked us to wait by yelling. I strongly felt that we were treated like a 5-year-old. Sadly, we will not visit Natta Thai again.

Never fails tried and tested.... A recurring hit with my family and always requested by out of town guests.

Chicken drunken noodles (dinner portion) - takeout

Ok, so after reading the Yelp reviews, hearing from one friend that Natta Thai is "natta good" and another saying she loved it, I had to make a determination for myself. Tonight I stopped in and got chicken drunken noodles to go. My rating: 3.75 stars - I'll round up for stars although I must admit I wouldn't give a full 4. The drunken noodles had a nice spice level (I can always go spicier, but I like to try each place's drunken noodles with the restaurant's "base spice" to have a fair comparison), the noodles were prepared well, the food was fresh, hot, a good portion, and not overly greasy. I wish the chicken wasn't minced. The website doesn't specify, and while one of the Yelp photos did indicate minced chicken, I wasn't sure if it was prepared that way all the time. I prefer when drunken noodles come with bigger pieces of chicken - I find that there aren't as many "chewy bits" that way. The price: standard for the area - $12, which is what Sisters Thai and Elephant Jumps charge. On this particular Tuesday night, around 8:15pm, there were two tables occupied. I've noticed some reviews where they say the take-out takes a while...perhaps they are getting takeout on really busy nights? I had no issues with the timing. They were right on time with my order: they told me 20 minutes and it was ready in exactly 20 minutes. Oh, one thing? When I left, they asked if I wanted chopsticks...after mentioning he did not include a utensil in my bag...not sure why but this just struck me as odd. Overall? I'd say the food is 3.5 stars (I really don't like the minced chicken, but I know that's a personal gripe), and the service and price are 4 at least from this experience. Good, not great -if I needed Thai in a pinch and needed it to be close by, I'd go there again and order something different. (For comparison, my favorite drunken noodles in the area remains Elephant Jumps.)

Came here with a friend for dinner as soon as they opened for dinner. Plenty of parking outside. The place is nice and clean. We were seated right away and our seever gave us water right away. We ordered fried calamari for appetizer and he was back with those in no time as well. They were soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. I was a fan, the smell was very overpowering though so brace yourself with the fishy smell. For main dish, we had the pineapple fried rice with chicken and and pineapple chicken curry. The flavor was great- I think the curry was nicely flavored but there was a lot of pineapple vs chicken. Will probably go back again to give it another try.

Whenever I'm around Vienna, Natta Thai seems to be my go to place for lunch. The pad Thai is so good and to balance out this sweeter dish I like to get the chicken chilli and basil for some spice. Although not pictured, I also got the chicken green curry, which is always a hit.

We had experienced Thai cuisine across multiple states and countries, we always approach new Thai…read morerestaurants with excitement and hope. Thai Mom caught our attention, and we walked in with high expectations based on the buzz we'd heard. Service & Atmosphere: I have to give credit where it's due - the service at Thai Mom is genuinely excellent. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, attentive, and friendly without being overbearing. They checked on us at just the right intervals, refilled our water promptly, and seemed genuinely invested in making sure we had a good experience. The hospitality alone made us want to love this place. The Appetizers - Where Thai Mom Shines: We started with their BBQ pork skewers, and honestly, these alone are worth mentioning. What sets Thai Mom's version apart is their unique preparation style - it's noticeably different from the standard BBQ pork skewers you'll find at most Thai restaurants. The meat had great char and flavor, and the accompanying sauce was tasty with a nice balance of sweet, savory, and tang. This dish gave us real hope for the rest of the meal. The fried calamari came next. Yes, the portion is on the smaller side, especially if you're sharing, but the quality makes up for the quantity. The batter is well-seasoned and achieves that perfect crispy texture without being greasy. The calamari itself was tender and fresh - clearly not frozen rubber rings. A solid execution of what could easily be a throwaway appetizer. We also tried the crispy pork slices. While the slices are quite thin (thinner than I prefer, honestly), the sauce they're served with is absolutely awesome. It's got depth, complexity, and that perfect balance that makes you want to lick the plate. The sauce honestly does the heavy lifting here, but sometimes that's all you need. The Entrees - Where Things Fell Apart: Unfortunately, this is where our experience took a disappointing turn, and I'm genuinely puzzled by the disconnect between the appetizers and mains. The boat noodles were our first red flag. If you've had authentic boat noodles - whether in Thailand, at hole-in-the-wall spots in Thai Town, or even at some of the better Thai restaurants stateside - you know there's a very specific flavor profile: deep, rich, slightly funky, with that characteristic broth that's been simmered for hours. Thai Mom's version was missing... something. We couldn't quite put our finger on what exactly, but the soul of the dish just wasn't there. The broth tasted flat and one-dimensional, lacking the complexity and depth that makes boat noodles so addictive. The Kapow fried rice was even more disappointing. Kapow (holy basil) is literally in the name of the dish, yet there were barely any leaves to be found. What we got tasted more like a standard Chinese-style fried rice heavy on soy sauce - not necessarily bad, but completely missing the point of what makes Kapow fried rice distinct. Where was the aromatic punch of holy basil? The slight heat? The wok hei? It felt like someone made fried rice and just labeled it "Kapow" without understanding what the dish is supposed to be. The real letdown, though, was the Ba Mee Moo Dang (egg noodles with red BBQ pork). Given how excellent their BBQ pork skewers were, we had high hopes for this dish. Instead, the red pork tasted boiled - like it had been poached or steamed rather than given that signature charcoal BBQ treatment that creates those crispy, caramelized edges and smoky depth. It was a completely different product from their appetizer pork, and not in a good way. For a dish where the pork is the star, this was a significant miss. The Verdict: Here's the pattern we noticed: every single appetizer we tried was good to excellent. Every single entree we tried ranged from mediocre to disappointing. That's not a coincidence - it suggests that either there's a different cook handling appetizers versus mains, or the kitchen's strengths lie in smaller, simpler preparations rather than complex entrees. As someone who reviews restaurants regularly and understands that every place has off nights, I wanted to give Thai Mom the benefit of the doubt. But the consistency of the appetizer quality versus the entree quality suggests this isn't just a fluke. Would I Return? Honestly? Probably not for a full meal. If I were meeting friends for drinks and apps, Thai Mom would be a perfectly fine choice - the service is lovely, the BBQ pork skewers are legit, and the atmosphere is pleasant. But for a proper Thai dinner where I'm craving those comforting, soul-satisfying entrees? I'd look elsewhere. Three stars feels fair - it's squarely "it's okay" territory. The excellent service and solid appetizers keep it from being two stars, but the disappointing entrees prevent it from reaching four. Thai Mom has potential and clearly has talent in the kitchen, but they need to bring that same care and authenticity to their main dishes.

The Crab Rangoon arrives with a satisfyingly crisp shell and a creamy, well-balanced filling--pleasant, if not particularly distinctive. More compelling is the Hae Geun (fried shrimp rolls), which deliver a flavorful crunch and prove immediately addictive. The Tom Yum Shrimp leans toward a classic interpretation, emphasizing bright sourness and gentle heat. While the broth is lighter and less complex than some traditional versions, it remains enjoyable and refreshing. A standout is the Phuket Island, where a sweet red curry envelops perfectly cooked squid and shrimp; the seafood is tender, and the sauce strikes a harmonious balance of richness and sweetness. Before we even had the chance to do so, our waitress came back to our table with an angry and confrontational attitude and said, "Excuse me, something is wrong. You didn't give tips." We were shocked by how rude and presumptuous this was. We explained that we had written "cash" because we planned to leave a cash tip. Instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding, she simply walked away. Tipping is something we gladly do for good service, but no customer should be approached and questioned in such an aggressive manner. The assumption that we weren't going to tip, combined with the rude attitude and lack of any apology, completely ruined what had otherwise been a pleasant meal. We asked to speak with a manager because this behavior was unacceptable. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and this waitress's attitude was unprofessional, arrogant, and disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression and makes us think twice about returning.

But the place was pretty empty, and I think I can understand why. The food here in my opinion is below average. I ordered a medium spice level Drunken Noodles with Chicken but I swear this was Extra Spicy--this is coming from a person that has a pretty high spice tolerance. Not only that, but it had a very tangy flavor to it as well. I've never had drunken noodles be this tangy. It did not taste right at all. This is one of my go to Thai dishes that I have ordered at many many restaurants. My husband got the Kob Kun Fried Rice. His dish was okay, but sort of strange. They kind of just plopped some crab on top (see pic) and didn't actually mix it into the fried rice. The crab they put on top was kind of cold, while the rest of the dish was hot. I thought that was odd. Even then it was better than my dish. So my husband, who has an higher spice tolerance than me, offered to swap dishes with me but even he could not handle it. It was spicy in a truly unenjoyable way. This sucks because I ordered a medium and they did not take that into account at all when making it. I had to do what I very rarely do--I asked if I could kindly send the dish back and I explained my issue. They were nice enough to let me order something different. I got the green curry with chicken. Sad thing is I got this mild in an effort to not have the spice issue again. However this time, my curry was completely sweet. I do actually like some spice in my thai food so this whole experience really sucked. I feel like I've made better thai curry at home, I will not be going back.

As we sat down, we were greeted with glasses of water along with a plate of boiled pods of edamame beans along with a sauce plate of sriracha & sweet soy sauce. Yummy. A sign of a good Thai restaurant is their Drunken Noodle & Thai Fried rice. We ordered the Chicken Drunken Noodle medium spicy & Thai Crabmeat fried rice. Let's see if it has wok hei? After 15 mins, our food arrived. The portions for both plates were above average. First the crabmeat fried rice. See the picture. Very colorful. There were large lumps of crabmeat as well as flakes/strands throughout the fried rice. I smell some wok hei. There was a side of spicy Thai lime juice sauce. It was good but odd that it came with the rice. The fried rice was very crabby in flavor and smell. But the taste was missing a little more salt. Here is were you order the Spice Tray. Throw some fish sauce with red Thai chilis. Or, what I did was mix some sweet soy sauce to elevate the flavor profile. Salty and sweet with the fried rice. The star of the show was the Chicken Drunken Noodle. So many flavors of spicy, sweet, salty & herby from the basil. Add some vinegar & chilis along with fish sauce & chilis to give the sour & umami flavors. The noodles were very soft and piping hot, even after 10 mins. Some wok hei too! This is probably one of the best Drunken Noodles in the area. Even my son said it was full of flavor & best he has ever had. Service was good. Our glasses of water were refilled multiple times. It's a little one higher end of moderate but the quality was very good. We found a gem! Definitely recommend & we will be back!
