We have a neurospicy child and he wouldn't last dining on location. But we were happy to order takeout online!!!)) I heard from another waitress at another restaurant they are calmer and more quiet earlier in the day and at lunch time. They had great reviews so I really wanted to try them. This as walking distance from the rv park so we walked over. It was a "seat yourself" afternoon & open concept with fresh air blowing in the bar/ stage area & there was also an inside area with fans & such. I had fish & chips & it was great! Didn't leave enough for leftovers. It was cooked perfectly & not overcooked like so many places. My margarita didn't come In a margarita glass which through me off but it also tasted more like a mule than margarita. Didn't taste right but was still good enough to drink. Hubby got the chicken tenders & said it eases cooked good & he also had no leftovers. Server wasnt great but wasnt bad. Great spot for a meal! We would dine again. read more

We enjoyed the Nauti Beaver Hut. Five of us went to dinner here early on a Saturday night. They could not seat of at a low table, so we ate at a hightop near the bar. Our server, was excellent. He really knew the menu. I ordered the Buffalo Shrimp appetizer. It was served with fries. Their fries are very good as was the shrimp. I had the Red Fish with rice. Very good. My wife had the Stuffed Flounder topped with Shrimp. Also very good. Our friends had Fried Oysters and Fried Shrimp. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service here. This place continues to empress me. The food is outstanding, my wife and I had dinner there after having lunch there earlier. Both lunch and dinner were great, we split a burger at lunch and then had crawfish and stuffed shrimp for Dinner.Our service was second to none other, Carla was our waitress and she was so friendly and made sure we weren't waiting for anything. This place is the cleanest place I've seen at Crystal Beach area. We even had one of the owner's stop by our table to make sure we were being taken care of.. I can't say enough GREAT things about this place. We're down for spring break and we have gone every night for dinner and once for lunch. They have the best entertainment on the peninsula. Pools tables are great. (As long as you're 18) The absolute BEST food! Awesome daily specials. We had a rather larger group and no problems accommodating all of us. Not one of us could find anything negative to say. Fast service, very friendly workers. We met the owners and they were GREAT! Very fun place to visit. We just had appetizers and drinks. The fried mushrooms were fantastic as was the Beaver tail...I think it was called. Jalapeños stuffed with seafood and cream cheese. Believe what the comments say about the owner. Tried to get some information so we could order food. The owner proceeded to take the phone off the hook, or rather block calls for the rest of the evening. The company website is wrong for the days and hours of operation. When I pointed that out she got very rude with me. It would appear the only business this owner wants is drunk sloppy people and not real credible customers who would come back. She is looking for the occasional tourist, a drunkard, a snooki if you will and dare I see even snooki wouldn't return to that place. Stingaree is a much more professional establishment with far better food. Do yourself a favor and head there instead. We did talk to somebody the following day and they said to avoid it because the food was really greasy and the staff was rude. This seems to be a popular opinion of this restaurant and I have to agree. I would bet money she's going to reply with something nasty and snarky like she did on the phone. With the economy the way it is I'm rather picky about where I choose to spend my money and it certainly won't be at a place like this. read more

Fun name. Fun food. These folks have down when it comes to beer battered seafood. The portions are huge and the batter light though a bit bland. Loved that they included the batter crumbs. Wished there had been maybe some malted vinegar. Nonetheless this is a fun and relaxed location for decent food, laughs and watching the game. The food was much, much better than I was expecting, and the service was very good as well. Knowledgeable staff, not pushy but they'd check in with you to see how you liked everything. The building is relatively new and looks very nice; the restaurant has a nice ambiance. The only thing I didn't like was the volume. They had a DJ playing tunes and leading a game of some kind, and OMG it was the loudest level of sound I've ever experienced in a restaurant or club, it was just nuts. I sat as far away as I could and even there it was rough. I don't know if my experience was typical or not. I'll definitely return there with earplugs and likely just get food to go. read more

The wife and I stopped in for lunch. We heard from some family members that the food was good. The name is quirky and a little strange but didn't have an effect on our experience. Walking in we found a dark bar vibe area with music and lots of red shirted employees serving patrons. We were ushered to a high two top by the hostess. Carla our waitress was prompt and attentive. We ordered an appetizer and decided to split the red fish meal. The wife ordered the pina colada and I a Blue Moon beer. The entree arrived before the appetizer but no worries. We rolled with it. The redfish with rice and steamed broccoli sides was delicious. The appetizer arrived a few minutes later. Fortunately, we had already enjoyed some of the fish because the appetizer was way over fried. Everything was dark brown and dried out. If that would have been served first, we may not have ordered anything else. Carla took the appetizer away and removed it from the bill. We finished up the fish, paid, and departed with mixed feelings. I would come back again because the red fish was tasty and I wanted to try other entrees. The wife...nope. I guess she uses all her second chance chits on me. There are a lot of seafood options in the area. It will take more than an unusual name to make it on the peninsula. A must visit place for sure, my family and I visited Crystal beach for the first time in a long while for a birthday and this is a amazing addition to the area, we had a large party and were easily accommodated in spite of it being extremely busy, service was amazing, food was outstanding and some great live music. Appetizer platter was cooked to perfection with a variety of boudin balls shrimp kisses and a bunch of other good stuff, my wife loved the stuffed flounder and i had fish and shrimp which was also so good, awesome drink selection and not one of our party left disappointed or hungry. Our server needs a mention too I think her name was Kendal, could be wrong, we met one of the owners Mona too who was very welcoming. Will absolutely be back next time we visit. read more
