Found this breakfast spot that's fairly close to freeway since we were heading back on a long drive and I was slightly hangry, and fiancee wasn't in the mood to deal with endless options. This place was pleasantly packed on a Wednesday morning so I knew I picked a good one. The parking lot is shared with other businesses and we got a spot right out front so I was already feeling like a rockstar. All the staff were friendly and we got seated right away, the waitress brought our coffees and took the order within a few minutes of us being there. Honestly I barely got to look at the menu but I already knew what I wanted from the pictures I saw on Yelp as I was searching for a place. I got the pork belly bowl on the suggestion of the waitress (I was debating between that and the pork belly Benedict) and it was amazing! I don't know what kind of magic they use, but the food stayed hot to the last bite. Fiancee got the chorizo scramble which he enjoyed, but it didn't look very attractive (in my opinion.) We arrived after church at about 10:30 am. The estimated wait time was 45 minutes, which ended up being close to an hour. We were seated at a back table in front of the Vestaboard. It was entertaining to watch and a nice conversation piece. This became a good distraction from the longer than expected wait for service. When our server finally got to us, we were ready with our drink and food choices. My husband had the Pastrami & Eggs with home potatoes. I had the Pork Belly Benny, also with home potatoes. Our daughter chose the Churro Waffle. She added bacon and scrambled eggs. Her boyfriend ordered the Pancake Short Stack with chocolate chips and a side of bacon. Everything was so, so GOOD!! The pork belly in my Benny was melt in your mouth delicious. Unfortunately we had a couple small issues. They forgot the chocolate chips in the pancakes so we waited while they remade them. Our drinks were not refilled until the end of our meal but our server offered to place them in to-go cups. My husband took that for his. Very, very busy place. Nice staff. Amazing food. Easy parking. So glad we decided to stop by here during our road trip to Yosemite! This cute and quaint restaurant has amazing food and a super friendly staff. What we ordered; - Cinnamon roll: super tasty, soft, everything you want a cinnamon roll to be. It is small, and normally sells out! Get it while ya can. - Pork Belly Bowl: absolutely delicious. I loved how much flavor is packed in the teriyaki itself. The pork belly was tender. Eggs and green onion complimented the entire dish well. The rice was good too. - Country fried steak and eggs. Gravy was finger lickin good. It was cooked perfectly. Got it with a side of fruit because life is all about balance. The restaurant is clean. Our food came out so fast. We came from out of town and searched on Yelp locally owned places and found this location. We got here and had about a 45 minute wait but once inside, we were optimistic that because it was small, the food would be great however, we were not impressed. We ordered the lox bagel plate and the chicken fried steak. The lox bagel only had enough salmon for one slice of the bagel so I made a salad out of the remaining spinach, tomatoes, and onions. The chicken fried steak was a diner classic, a bit greasy but the sausage gravy saved it as it was the star of the show. The service wasn't that great. Our waitress didn't check on our table and we had to get the attention of another server to ask for things we needed. Overall, it felt a little bit more of a Denny's than something local. This would not be on the top of a list to go back and try other food items. read more

On 4/7/26 at approximately 1000 AM I entered the establishment. I was greeted by a young man with reddish hair and he escorted me to my booth. I sat for approximately 10-15 minutes with no one bringing a menu nor asking if I wanted a drink. The restaurant was not crowded. I observed a male possibly Filipino who was bringing a couple ( male and female) their menus... At no time did he look nor come to my booth. The couple had arrived after me. After waiting, I approached the initial male who greeted me. He identified himself as the acting manager. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the initial lack of service. This happened to me several weeks ago. I did leave due to the same issues. However, it was crowded and I wanted to return. The food is good. I will not be returning due to the two incidents. I do remember and older lady who was on top of carrying out her duties in a proper manner. I think he name was Rosie. Apparently, she is gone. I do wish the establish good fortune. read more

I decided to visit this restaurant for a late breakfast to indulge in some excellent coffee and comfort food. They're the first place in town to serve Intelligentsia Coffee, which was a major draw for me. I also had a craving for their delicious but indulgent fried chicken and waffles. I'm glad they had a table available as I was taking my to-go order and was available, and made my choice to dine in rather than take out. Having the food and their yummy latte made into perfection hot right there was nice. This spot is incredibly popular, and I knew from experience that securing a table, especially on weekends, can be quite a challenge. My family and I have tried to come here several times before, only to be deterred by the long wait. The consistent queues are a testament to their quality, despite the restaurant's cozy size and somewhat out-of-the-way location. Closing time is always at 2 pm and this must have been a reason why I was able to get a table because I got there close to closing time and they were nice to have me sit on a table. Overall, the experience was worth the wait. The bold coffee lived up to its reputation, and the fried chicken waffles were as scrumptious as ever. Also, I have tried their other healthier options before with my family, so I already what I'm going for. Service is quick and the owners ( this is a family owned and run shop that I like to support such hard working entrepreneurs) are super nice and helpful. If you're willing to endure a bit of a wait during their busy hours, this place is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend this place and this place is now one of my special places to go. Came for breakfast food in the late morning. They had a single table available for my party of one. Coffee came with a selection of creamers, of which I tried the cinnamon strudel (I believe that's what it was called)... It was tasty, next time I'll try the Mexican hot chocolate version, which will likely be just as tasty. This visit I had the biscuits, sausage and gravy, with eggs over easy and crispy hash browns. They delivered on all fronts. Over-easy eggs had nice runny yolks as expected (though there was still a hint of runny white that another 10-ish seconds could've fixed, but that's just being extra critical - it's not too unusual for that to happen with eggs ordered over-easy). Biscuits were tasty, sausage gravy was thick and flavorful, and there was enough to have some with every bite. The hash browns had a crispy exterior as expected. Ultimately, it was a quality breakfast with pretty good service, and no real complaints. If anything, the chair wasn't as comfy as I would've liked. That's about it though. I'll be back! read more

First time there we got the thai tea pancakes with bananas foster (special of the day), breakfast pork bowl, and and horchata french toast. Everything was flavored and cooked to perfection. They also have homemade creamers of which we tried the mexican chocolate (in coffee) and strudel (in tea) both were delightful! Second time there we got a standard breakfast (eggs, bacon and pancakes), a loco moco, savory crepes, and a cinnamon roll. Again, everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The crepes and pancakes weren't chewy at all (sign the batter has been over mixed) and my husband said the loco moco was the best he's ever had. This time he had the homemade vanilla creamer with his coffee which is probably his new favorite. The cinnamon rolls was VERY cinnamon-y (my preference rather than less cinnamon and more sugar) and doughy. Maybe slightly underbaked for some but absolute heaven for us. My only complaint is they're a little skimpy on the green onion and I need to remember to ask for more whenever I get a dish that has it. read more

Because one failed to cross off the party already seated with the same name brought confusion to the staff, which was in NO way shape or form OUR error. When brought to the gentlemen's attention that the party had already been seated(BY HIM) he was rude and said " yeah, were working with TWO party's with the same name today". In which we had advised he had just seated them. Upon checking with everyone that works there, he then comes back out and said my bad sorry we can place you right here. Our family noticed that they were all discussing the situation as if it was OUR fault and in some weird way we and our service were treated very poorly thereafter. The youngman that seated us asked the ENTIRE restaurant if they needed coffee refills, the table right in back of us if the had their drinks squared away and brought them all water. Never once asked OUR table, you could tell he was avoiding us/our table. Afterall, he was probably embarrassed of how he responded when it was in fact his error. As we waited close to 10 minutes before we were even asked about our drinks!? Waited another 10 minutes for them to be brought, only to be told our server would be right with us thereafter!? As she was tending to the table in back of us that was seated after us. We felt as if we were being punished for a mistake that was made by YOUR staff. We treated our sever with kindness and respect. Even after all that y'all no longer had one of the dishes we wanted to order(it was end of day). We STILL stayed ordered something else. Even purchased a pastry while waiting and STILL tipped our server regardless of ALL the mishaps. The WORST experience we have had thus far. We're locals and SUPPORT MANY small businesses. We were treated horribly this time around. Took everything out of us not to bring it to the owners attention as he showed up when were were finishing up. Maybe you care, maybe you don't. This is my first time at this joint. Excellent. Let's start with the waitress when we hit the door. She welcomed us & was very attentive. Service is so friendly here despite how busy they get. There's usually a long wait to be seated, of course, depending on the time of day. They are open daily from 8a-2p, with exception to them being closed on Mondays. This past visit (on a Sunday around 11-ish) we had to wait 40 minutes to be seated, which I didn't mind. There's nothing else to do in this plaza so we sat in the car because it was cold and drizzling outside and there are no outdoor heaters, but there are chairs and a bench in a covered area you can sit and wait to be called... no wireless paging system and they don't take your phone number, nor do they take reservations or any calls ahead to put your name on the list. My local dentist recommended the Matzah Ball Soup and we were fortunate they still had some, just enough for one last serving cup because apparently it's popular there. It was tasty, but so was everything else we tried. Good cuts of pastrami in our Pastrami & Eggs order. We ordered the Churro Waffle for the table to share as our dessert, that was delicious too. They have homemade flavored creamers for your coffee as well as various homemade jams for your toast. I do want to mention that the Mexican Omelette was supposed to be topped with guacamole and pico de gallo according to the physical menu, but it's actually only topped with fresh tomatoes, a small sprinkling of salsa verde and cheese... and it only had one tiny piece of bacon inside, maybe even half of a bacon because I only had two bites with bacon in it and we asked for the home potatoes and hash browns to be extra crispy. Unfortunately, they weren't so I didn't enjoy them, but that's just my personal preference. I was so excited to try this place after seeing it on TikTok--especially for the duck eggs Benedict. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing, and not because of the food itself, but the total lack of support from the staff. We were seated directly in front of a very loud, rowdy group of men who continuously bumped my chair, stood over me while talking, and even coughed on me while we were waiting for our food. I brought it up politely to two separate servers, clearly explained I wasn't comfortable and couldn't eat like this, and asked for our food to be packed to-go. They apologized, but no one offered to move us or resolve the situation. We waited 45 minutes for our food, and ended up eating it out of takeout boxes at the same table--after the group finally left. The food itself was good, but we didn't get to enjoy it.
