I have been a Vivant customer for 3 years. I would never do business with them again. I just…read morespent 1 hour and 22 minutes on the phone trying to cancel my service. I have never had an experience like this. I was transferred 6 times, processed my request 2 times, and was offered "discount deals to stay over 20 times on the call. It's sad their employees have to follow forced scripts and transfer customers like they do. I had a similar experience earlier when I needed to move the equipment and found out for the 1st time I had actually purchased equipment and committed to 36 months. I've used services like CPI and ADT before and never run into this. Horrible. Avoid. RUN!

For me it's those two things that really stand out. Customer service and "it just works." In terms of customer service, it's hard to do better. The company's response time to questions is very fast. That's pretty much what you want. As for "it just works," the Alarm.Com system and equipment they are a dealer for really gives you peace of mind. It's actually secure. In spite of what they told me two months before upon an inquiry I made. Instead they continued to debit my account. There is no way to stop it from your bank. Be aware of the scam and of their lies. When I cancelled with a form that I have to fill out, there was no acknowledgement. They still debited my bank account. They argued that there was a 3 days cancellation policy; this 3 months after my 3 year contract has ended. I have to yell for them to promise a refund for only 1 month. I am holding my breath. If this goes on, I will take them to court.

I'm not sure I can call myself a customer, because I was never given an invoice, but I had a very…read moregood experience with Easter's and thought I should share. I had an emergency with my front door where it is old, had broken, and was a major security risk as I could not secure the door from the outside. I was desperate to have someone look at it, hoping to get any help possible, and had called 3 local lock & key operations. I had a visit from another outfit who left me with a $200 bill and no actual resolve, because the lock was busted beyond what they could fix on the spot. Easter's had given me a window prior to the other guy coming out. So, when he left, I called Easter's to see if I should still have them come out, or if the guy that came from another company had done everything that they would have done. The lady from Easter's who helped me (I feel so badly that I've forgotten her name) was so incredibly nice and helpful. We were back-and-forth via phone and email for over an hour, at which point she agreed that her technician would likely run into the same problem of the lock being so badly broken, it wasn't something they could fix on the spot. Even though they never actually came out, I felt as though they were so willing to help, thorough, and really made me feel like they went the extra mile for me, without even coming here to do the work. Our first interaction with Advanced Security Safe & Lock occurred when our moving company left us…read morein the lurch with two safes that needed to be moved from our garage to our basement. The movers said it was impossible to put the larger of the two safes into the home without damage, and we didn't want to store safes in the garage where they'd be vulnerable and not in a temperature-controlled environment. When we called Advanced Security Safe & Lock, they said they could absolutely do the job. They arrived on time and placed both safes exactly where we wanted them in our basement without damaging anything. We were so impressed that we later hired them to change our locks. The job turned out to be more complex that we'd thought, since there were two types of locks in our home. But the technicians were able to switch out the cheaper locks for a reasonable price so we only needed one key for all of them! Every worker we dealt with was professional and responsive. It's the week of getting house stuff done before I go on vacation. So my door has been drafty,…read morecreaky, and crooked for a while, but I finally decided to get it addressed. Right after putting in an inquiry on here, I got a message and then a phone call not long after that. I scheduled for the 2-4pm time frame for someone to come and give me a free estimate, and two guys showed up at 1:53pm. I was surprised, because I was told I would get a text, but I didn't. It didn't work in their system for some reason, I saw him try in front of me. But it was a pleasant surprise, I was available! Their names were Elmer and Kingston. They assessed the door, told me what they would have to do to fix it, gave me the honest price point, and asked me whether I wanted to hold off or have it done immediately. I decide to just get it done, and so I asked them to hold on for me to secure my cats so they wouldn't run outside. They literally had to take the door off of the hinges! They used that time to go grab tools and a patiently waited for me to let them know when my cats were secured. The job didn't take that long, I didn't actually time it.... Maybe about 40 minutes? They were efficient and really did their thing. So now, my door is fixed and I'm ready to go on vacation. They aren't the closest geographically, but they do serve the entire area. Would recommend if your door is having issues!
