Small space we discovered one night as we arrived in Denver in a rainy night. Ramen was the perfect vibe and this place did not disappoint. The only downside is that the seating capacity is limited and on a very busy day, you may need to share a table. Both the pork belly bun and ramen was very good for CO standards (still doesn't compare to west coast restaurants). The bun was a little smaller than what I'm used to and for the price ($8 each) I would've expected a bit more
The ramen here instantly transported me back to the meals I had in Japan, it's incredibly authentic. The spicy miso ramen was so flavorful yet perfectly spiced. The black garlic ramen was also really good - if you like garlic this is the your perfect ramen order! The shrimp was so freshly friend, loved it! Service is quick! Totally worth the 40 minute drive from Parker!
We wanted something warm but everything was closed at 10 PM. We settled for Neko because they closed late. We called to make sure their kitchen doesn't close earlier than posted closing time. They're next to the Domino's and Starbucks. Inside the decor is trendy with Japanese-themed cats. Neko is cat in Japanese, so duh. You order at the tablet, then take a table number that's in the box to the left. I got whatever spicy ramen they had for $17 regular size. You have to pay extra to get the spicy sauce, which was actually spicy and good. I dropped the entire container into my ramen and even used it to dip the karaage. I didn't like the karaage. It was too "American". The ramen was ok. Noodles were filling. I wish they didn't put fried onions. I might have missed that option when ordering? I vaguely remembering that you could add toppings though. Service? Where? Maybe they were new? One didn't speak English. -Bathroom available -parking lot with plenty of parking -No outdoor seating -Fountain drinks, self-served
Awesome little hole in the wall ramen place. We were searching for a ramen place open late and stumbled upon neko. I had the black garlic ramen and it was very garlicky and delicious. Our only complaint was the egg in the ramen was poached rather than boiled, which we prefer boiled eggs. Also the decor is very cute and fun. Staff was very nice as well.
Excellent ramen spot, a great comfort food spot we enjoy frequenting with eclectic music (I love when they go anime) and its vegetarian friendly (my gf loves the vegan creamy ramen). You order via a kiosk and then they deliver the food to you when you sit down via the number you're given. Sailor Moon in neon eating ramen is a very nice touch too, but keep an eye out for the evil Neko. On the top, via spotlight from the far left it's the second from the left. I recently gave Neko Ramen & Rice a try after noticing its appealing storefront and trendy ambiance on some online photos. The decor is definitely a strong point. The place is filled with fun Japanese paraphernalia that creates a cool, immersive atmosphere reminiscent of a Tokyo ramen bar. Ordering is done via kiosk, which is convenient enough. After placing my order, I received a number and waited about 15 minutes for the food to be ready. The process was smooth, though the staff seemed pretty uninterested and disengaged. Not rude, but definitely not warm or welcoming. As for the food: I had higher hopes. I got the spicy miso ramen, and it tasted fairly generic and lacked that rich, deep umami flavor that defines a good bowl. The broth didn't stand out in any particular way, and the pork was overly salty -- to the point it tasted like it had been over-marinated or left too long in soy sauce. It wasn't inedible, but it wasn't satisfying either. Coming from Southern California, I've had better spicy miso ramen. Overall, while the setting and concept are appealing, the actual food and service didn't live up to my expectations. I really wanted this to be a new favorite spot, but unfortunately, it left me a bit disappointed. There's potential here, but it needs more attention to flavor and guest experience to stand out.
Really enjoyed our spicy and black ramen with vegan meat. We tried the lunch special as well which was good just had to add a little soy sauce. The service was great and enjoyed the sailor moon decoration!
Just an update that the owner did contact us and refunded our meal. This was the right thing to do and I am glad no one got seriously sick. They did mention how they are reviewing their food handling practices.
When I first walked in, I noticed how hip and cute it was with the decor and neon lights. This place has a self-serve kiosk and you order first and grab a number then find a table. I ordered the corn butter ramen with pork instead of chicken and it came out quickly. I liked that the corn butter option was unique than other ramen spots, but I found that the taste of the ramen overall was ok. The pork pieces were small and weren't as fatty as some of the pieces you get in authentic ramen. Overall, it was a good experience but not the tastiest ramen I've had.
I'm so glad this place is located here! The food is outstanding and the service is wonderful. The food is rich and flavor and on a cold day, just warms the soul. The atmosphere is a taste of what it might be like in Japan. Highly recommend!
I came to Neko Ramen & Rice for a late dinner. Upon arriving, the place was packed, but despite this, the line moved fairly quickly. The speedy service continued after I had placed my order, with my food coming out within several minutes. As for the quality of the food, it was pretty good for a fast-casual restaurant. The broth was flavorful and complemented the chicken, whereas the egg was perfectly poached. On top of the excellent service, two employees here have the same first name as me! Overall, I would recommend Neko Ramen & Rice if you're looking for good quality ramen served at breakneck speeds.
Such a cute spot. Doesn't hold a lot of patrons on the inside but they sure do turn and burn Togo orders! The staff were all super friendly and nice. This is an order at the front and they'll bring you your food type of place but the employees were still coming around and asking if everything was going okay and if we needed anything. There were only two front of house employees and they were doing awesome. Food! The ramen was amazing! Probably top 3 places in Denver to get Ramen. Everything about it was so good.

This place is 10/10! The food was amazing! It was some of the most flavorful food we have ever had at a ramen shop. The bang bang shrimp are a must! So is the pork bun! The spicy miso ramen had a unique in-house spice that could not be replicated at any other shop! It was unlike any spicy ramen we have ever had. The chicken curry was made with Japanese fried chicken, and had extra flavor and spice compared to other Japanese curries I have had. I'm eating this by food standards. Yesterday I went for lunch because I was craving soup and Ramen always hit the spot. The place is nice and the service was also nice. Loved the decorations and the ambiance. The broth was delicious is a good place for a quick ramen craving. It wasn't that hot thought. I tried to put more heat in to it and definitely gave me a kick. I didn't realize it was an "order at the counter and get it served" place which I really dislike. Seems like a way to skirt waitstaff of tips to me... I digress This place is fairly small, about 6 tables and maybe some high top chairs along the window. We thankfully got there just in time to grab and save the one open table before our friends got there. I got the spicy miso ramen and a water. They do sell alcoholic beverages and sodas as well. Food took a bit to come out, but my ramen was very good. Broth was tasty, not too salty, and the meat was super tender. The menu is relatively small, but you don't need much from a ramen place, I don't think. I was very happy with my choice! Neko ramen was a cute and cozy ramen shop serving up hot ramens and curries. You order at the front and seat yourself and the waiters will bring out your food - fast casual style. The miso ramen was delicious, especially the noodles since they were cooked so perfectly. We also tried the pork buns which just okay. And the prices were very affordable. It was pretty busy inside and only a hand full of tables, but luckily we were able to grab a four top. The staff was super kind as well. This would be a great spot for take out if I lived in the area! read more

I came here on a Friday night and it was bustling with people! Great thing is that it is located in a plaza with a good sized parking lot. The front staff were super welcoming and friendly. There seemed to so many different options but she recommended the Black Garlic Ramen and I got it substituted with chicken instead of pork. The bang bang shrimp seemed to help really popular so I will have to come back to try that one... The broth was so good - it had a deep flavor and all of the toppings meshed so well together. If you're looking for a cute and simple ramen dinner this is your spot! It's nice to be getting some quality ramen/asian eateries up north so we can avoid having to drive to Aurora whenever we have a craving. It's a smaller style restaurant so definitely plan accordingly if you're going during prime eating times or with big families. Tables are first come, first served. The soy garlic chicken was definitely my favorite! Juicy, tender chicken - Yumm! I especially loved the fried garlic on top. I tried the Tori ramen and they prepared the ramen noodles exactly how I like them - Al dente. The broth and toppings were good but I felt as if the flavor wasn't there for me. This is the best ramen I've had out here in Colorado. Broth is amazing, noodle quality was awesome, and the broth was clean. Appetizers such as bang bang shrimp, soy garlic chicken, and spicy garlic edamame were all flavorful and cooked to perfection. I ordered Neko via DoorDash. My expectations were tempered because I understand freshness is typically sacrificed with delivery, but Neko nailed it. I ordered the miso ramen with no egg and an appetizer of the bang bang shrimp. I also ordered a side of chili/spicy paste (kudos for having this option!) for $1 and a side of extra noodles for $2. Highly recommend bang bang shrimp- great app! The shrimp was still warm and breading on the shrimp was crispy even with wait of delivery. The ramen was also excellent. I purposely ordered miso for a more bland flavor. I was surprised about a sweetness to the broth. I liked it but was also glad I had the chili paste to add some balancing heat. I don't disagree with some other reviews this ramen is unique- I'm not a ramen aficionado so I don't know exactly what makes it different but it's good regardless. The noodles and pork chashu were the perfect tenderness after following prep instructions. Great portion, value, and flavor! For a delivery order, it's little things that can make a huge difference on your experience. My order was speedy- it was picked up within 15-20 minutes of ordering. Second, everything was cleanly and neatly packaged and included complimentary chopsticks, plastic soup spoon, and napkins (if you ever ordered delivery ramen, you know that these are luxuries). These brought the sprinkle of ambience from the restaurant to my place. Combination of ramen ingredients and final prep was easy and well directed with clear instructions. When you arrive, you can order at the counter and take a number to your table. Nice little restaurant with six tables and a long counter along the window with about four or five seats. Tip, check in on Yelp before you order for a free drink. The bang bang shrimp was excellent. The Ramen was pretty good, although the egg was a little too soft and the white dissolved before I could get to it. The associates working there were extremely nice and interested in how I enjoyed my meal. They brought my meal to my table, then the person who took my order, came out twice to make sure everything is good. Then the gentleman from the kitchen came out to see if I'm enjoying it and wanted to make sure everything is good. Service was top-notch and I was impressed. Short: Fast service, featuring tasty food! Atmosphere is friendly and the restaurant is super clean. Long: I went out to grab a quick bite to eat for lunch and was extremely impressed with Neko Ramen and Rice. First the place is super nice, clean and a great atmosphere, and the service is great as well. I ordered a Bao bun and the black garlic ramen. Both were exceptional, I really enjoyed the black garlic ramen, as I do love super garlic-y things. The broth is full of flavor and the pork belly is super tender. The BEST RAMEN I'VE EVER HAD! I was craving some warm ramen after a day of snow boarding and this was exactly what I needed and more! The staff was absolutely wonderful! They were so welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive! We weren't from the area so they guided us through their menu. I order the black garlic ramen and it blew my mind! It was full of flavor and all of the ingredients were so fresh! The pork belly bun was full of flavor and so soft and fluffy! The honey chicken was juicy, crispy, and made fresh! The matcha and strawberry mochi added a nice sweet touch to the end of my meal. The restaurant ambiance was so cool! They had nice decorations and gave the place a great touch! I chose this place because it was on the way from the airport to Keystone. I was hesitant as soon as I saw the menu because they only have chicken broth and I'm used to pork broth. Ultimately if you gave me this broth without telling me it was chicken broth, I wouldn't have guessed it! I like the fact that this restaurant is open late at 11:00 pm. We arrived at around 9 pm and the restaurant was not too crowded. I loved the overall interior of the place. It was cute and inviting. When you enter, you order at the counter and seating is self seating. We ordered 2 ramens and a takoyaki as an appetizer. You're given a number to place on your table so that the server may know where to place the food once they're ready. Takoyaki: it came out first and the food was warm but not hot enough for the bonito flakes to flail around for dear life. There was also an overwhelming amount of sauce that overpowered the flavor of the Takoyaki which did not taste good at all. Ramen: the ramens tasted fine. Each ingredient complimented each other. It came out warm as well but not super hot. I typically like my broth really hot since it brings out the fragrance of the soup really well. As for the broth, it's interesting they use chicken broth instead of pork broth. I've never had chicken broth soup base ramen before and it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. It just kind of threw off the overall flavor but not enough where the ramen didn't taste good. After awhile I wasn't able to continue eating anymore since the flavor was just off. If you'd like to satisfy your late night ramen cravings then I recommend coming here. However, if you prefer the traditional pork broth base ramen, I would suggest going elsewhere. read more

Alright, I've been on the hunt for a solid ramen spot here in Denver & I think I just found it! First of all, the restaurant itself is casual, but the decor is amazing. I loved the lucky nekos (cats) and the neon lights. It definitely had the essence of a street vendor in Japan! The menu is on the smaller side, but offers great options for appetizers and main courses alike. I was torn between the black garlic ramen and corn butter ramen, so I ended up ordering the black garlic ramen and adding corn and butter. It was soooo rich and delightful. The noodles had a nice and chewy consistency and the egg in the bowl was a soft boil, which you don't usually get at ramen shops in the states! Everything tasted great and the service was also wonderful. There was never a moment where we had leftover plates or napkins on our table... This place has so many cats! The walls are all covered in lucky cats which is so cute and fun. We got ramen but the menu also had sushi options. I had the black garlic ramen and my friend got the corn butter ramen. We demolished our food - it was fantastic!! The servers were very nice although it was mostly self-service -- you order at the counter, they bring your food to your table, and you bus your own table at the end. Very simple and lovely. I posted a picture on Instagram and they DMed me with a coupon for a free appetizer which was so sweet! I'm visiting from out of town though but hopefully I can visit again sometime in the future. read more

We got into Aurora late, checked into our hotel around 10 PM, and were seriously craving some Asian food. We found this ramen place on UberEats and decided to give it a shot--not expecting much, to be honest. But wow, were we surprised! I had the black garlic ramen, and it was amazing--so savory with this incredible garlic aroma that made the whole dish pop. I also tried some of the spicy miso ramen my dad ordered, and it was just as good--perfectly spiced and super flavorful. For a late-night meal, this place really hit the spot. We'll definitely be ordering from here again next time we're in town! read more

I found Neko through an Instagram post. When a friend of mine came into town, we decided to give it a shot. The first thing you'll notice about Neko is that it's quite small. I believe there are six four-top tables and also some bar-style seats along the wall. To order it is counter service, then the staff will bring the order to your table. My friend and I both got the Black Garlic Ramen. I loved the broth in this ramen! It was so flavorful. It was all really well cooked. I highly recommend stopping here to try the ramen. I will say, be sure to find a seat when you can as it is a little tricky and saw many people receiving their orders standing up who were eating at any surface they could find for space. read more

We tried their Miso Hot Ramen; their spicy miso paste is made from scratch. I think it's a perfect bowl and not too spicy! Melt in your mouth chasu(pork belly) and an eggthat is perfectly cooked. Black Garlic Ramen. I can never say no to a bowl of this. Get it! It's delicious! The ingredients are plentiful, and the meat is tender. Las Vegas's loss is Denver's gain, where Vincent is from. This authentic Japanese ramen place just opened last week and is a great addition to the Park hill area. The owner/chef, Vincent, and the manager, Joan, are so kind and will have your delicious food out within minutes. The decor and fun music makes for a great ambience as well. You order over the counter and the food is brought right to your table (or you can get it for takeout). There is about 10 or so tables for dine in. They have a variety of appetizers to start like takoyaki (octopus ball), gyoza, pork buns, bang bang shrimp and spicy chicken in addition to edamame, kimchi, crispy brussel sprouts and seaweed salad. I would highly recommend the bang bang shrimp as they were incredibly flavourful (but not too spicy). They have a few ramen options to choose from but you can also customize and add on whatever toppings you like. I thought the mi-so spicy was absolutely perfect and the spicy miso paste is made from scratch. The pork belly in the ramen melts in your mouth and the egg was cooked perfectly. The grilled onions and bean sprouts take it up another level! For dessert we tried both the matcha and strawberry mochi which were so delicious. Give this place I try! Was craving ramen and this was one of the places close to where we were going. We got the firecracker shrimp (flavor was good! A bit too much sauce and shrimp was small), the Brussels sprouts (this I recommend!), mi-so hot with vegan broth and black garlic. The flavors were great and the noodles were cooked well. For the price I think there should be a bit more noodles and toppings in the ramen. Also would like to see sriracha on the tables. read more
Rated 2nd best ramen in Denver at this past month's ramen festival! Neko Ramen has some very tasty ramen options. The noodles are cooked perfectly and lots of flavor in the broth. The pork was a bit too soft for me and didn't have much of a chew. The fried garlic and egg were very good though. The shop is on the smaller side and you seat yourself so be prepared for a short wait if you come during a busy time. The restaurant has very cute decor and feels very authentic. read more
