Store is clean, orderly and well stocked. Produce section is extensive, prices are very reasonable. I will be back again.

Not sure what happened to my original First To Review?? But I guess I'll write it again:( The Commissary is the grocery store on base to serve families who are typically living on base. However, those who have served and are still on active duty living off base reap the benefits of shopping at this grocery store too, which offers lower prices than the typical grocery store. It's not convenient for me but the prices on produce, meat and dairy are worth the drive. No taxes charged here, so great savings. Alcohol is purchased at the LIquor store not at the commissary, and its located just down the street. I always carry some cash with me to tip the helpers that carry the groceries out to my car. Around .50 cents a bag I heard is acceptable. I can't find all the items I need/want here but when I'm on base I load up with meats which are wonderfully priced. Bakery always has nice AF themed cakes too. You need a valid Military ID at check out when purchasing your groceries so don't forget it!

Ehhhh , its a hot and miss at this place. It's not that cheap but I like going here because it is quality meat . And I can order big orders during the holidays ( I usually call it in 2 days before). Sometimes you can get good coupons and sale. But it's really not that cheap like people think. When you shop here be ready to have a few dollars after checking out for the baggers. They Bag and load it to your car. Please also be aware that you may only shop here if you have a military ID or if you are being sponsored inside the base.

The organic selection keeps getting larger!! Who needs expensive "whole foods" if the com has everything you need for cheaper price.

The ambiance at night is nice and dimly lit. Great menu and nicely priced. There's currently a 3 course special that comes with a salad, salmon, tiramisu, and bottomless wine for $60! It's definitely worth it. The goat cheese spread tasted great with the salad. The salad also comes as a big portion. The salmon was huge and perfectly moist. I got the foie gras on French toast. It had the perfect amount of salty and tart sweet flavor with the blackberry-cherry sauce. It comes as an appetizer, but because it's so good, I don't recommend sharing since the portion is so small. I got the spicy seafood pasta, and it was amazing! It had the perfect amount of spice and it comes with a hefty amount of seafood along with a whole big lobster tail! The shrimps that it came with were also huge and there were plenty of calamari and octopus with the pasta. This dish was such a great deal with the portion and the amount of seafood it came with. My only complaint is that they can lighten the amount of fresh basil they put in. I highly recommend! Last, we got the creme brulee, which comes with orange biscotti. It's a shareable portion, and perfectly sweet. Our server Zoe was also amazing! She was super friendly and answered all the questions we had with the menu. Great place for a low key date at Desert Shores and some awesome food!

I am torn as I really want to give this place more stars because the food was really good (more on…read morethat later) but there was something that made that hard to do. We have dined there in the past and have always sat at a table but we came in on a whim and there was only bar seating, which was fine. But the girl bartender (Annie??) was extremely mean and rude to us for some reason. We were polite, didn't complain about anything, didn't ask to modify our food at all and left over 20% gratuity. When we asked questions she talked to us like we were stupid. Everyone else was outstanding. The guy with the braids and Frank were awesome and the Sommelier was really cool and was passionate about his wine list. My fiancé and I are both industry vets and we understand that sometimes you aren't always in the best mood but this felt oddly personal. Again, we have no idea what we did wrong. The food was exceptional. Some highlights are: Oxtail hummus: The best hummus I've ever had and the oxtail was cooked to perfection. Oysters: we did half and half of both options and they were both great and super unique. Banh Cuon: Usually made with pork, they use duck and it is awesome. The sauce should be bottled. Octopus: Perfection on a plate. Passionfruit dessert: So, so good. Perfect way to end dinner after some spicy elements in the food. Pandan cocktail: One of the better drinks I've ever had. We had more food but these are the items I can remember off of the top of my head. This was from about a month ago but my Yelp account was hijacked and I haven't been able to get it back yet and had to make a new one . So overall everything was amazing except for that one issue.

I certainly understand the Michelin recommendation. The service was outstanding, we asked for an off menu cocktail and a split dish (half and half oysters) which they accommodated. They kept up with refilling our waters. Some standout dishes for me were the dry aged bluefin tuna, the oysters, the "dan-dan" rabbit paccheri, and the Spanish octopus. I did enjoy our first visit but this was much more memorable. Everything we tried was beautifully plated, all of the ingredients served a purpose and blended beautifully together. The ambiance with the small table lamps was enough to see the beautiful dishes but keep the mood relaxed and intimate. The cost was much more reasonable compared to other higher end restaurants of similar or lesser quality in vegas. I highly recommend

Firecracker Shrimp was enjoyed by Diane minus the firecracker Sauce. Tater Tots were a little too crispy. Flakey Salmon with Red Peppers was fine.
