A few standout dishes were the oxtail hummus, which was absolutely incredible even for someone who usually doesn't like oxtail, the seasonal raw clams with pineapple, which were a surprisingly perfect combination, and the sinigang clams with lemongrass, packed with flavor. The seasonal octopus with squid ink risotto was also excellent, and the passion fruit mousse made for the perfect finish. We were celebrating an early birthday, and the staff surprised me with ice cream, which was such a thoughtful touch. Every server was attentive, warm, and genuinely kind. Sparrow & Wolf is a restaurant that I have always wanted to go too but since I usually stay on the strip I usually end up eating on the strip. I chose the $145 menu for each person, and also added a $14 ( yuzu lychee drink) There is also an option for unlimited drinks for $45 each but my group is not the largest of drinkers so I didn't choose that one. At Sparrow & Wolf I feel like we really got our moneys worth compared to going on the strip. A meal like this on the strip would have easily cost $250 - $300 per person. We were started off with a seafood tower which had lobster, oysters, shrimp, and a charcuterie /cheese selection on the bottom . We had the choice between steak or fish for the main course, I chose the steak. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. I also really enjoyed the pomme puree ( it was so buttery and delicious ) I really enjoyed all of the food that I had here and would definitely recommend Sparrow & Wolf for dinner!

A seasonal Italian kitchen with great cocktails sounded right up our alley, so we made a reservation for lunch. It was on the arts district so nice area to walk around as well. There was some street parking a few blocks away that was actually free during lunchtime hours to encourage business. The joint was hopping inside. We were greeted and told our table would be ready in a few minutes. The interior was very aesthetically pleasing, lots of tables of various sizes and a large bar area. While waiting I saw Howie from the Backstreet Boys come into the restaurant! He also knows what's good. You could smell the amazing sourdough bread baking when you walk in the door, so we knew we were ordering that and also got the three choice of dips to go with it. We got burrata, fegatini, and a third I can't recall. I enjoyed all three. Definitely some flavor profiles I hadn't tried before. But it was fun to try some new dips. The sourdough was pure perfection, soft and warm inside with crunchy and flaky crust. It also came with a salted butter and olive oil. You can order a loaf to go which I recommend if you can. You gonna be thinking about the bread all day anyway. For the rest of our food we decided to share a couple thongs so ordered a salad, two sandwiches, and a pasta. There was so much on the menu that sounded good. First to arrive was the Garlic Oil Poached Tuna Salad. It was a mix of refreshing mixed greens, tomatoes, a nicely poached eggs, and pieces of tuna. I was thinking it was going to be a seared tuna, but it was cooked. Regardless it was well seasoned and tasted good. To me, the Chittara Cacio Pepe was the entree star. It's such a simple pasta topped with pecorino and peppercorns but when it's done right, wow. The pasta was clearly freshly made and the sauce was so creamy. Yum! The sandwiches came with some mixed greens and various potato chips including purple and sweet. The Garlic Roasted Turkey Sandwich was deli style turkey served on a sesame roll, topped with a slaw and parmesan frico. The Meatball Sub was also on sesame roll, topped with pomodoro, basil ricotta, and provolone. The meatball was a little different, shaped more like a sausage but similar flavor. The tomato sauce was excellent as expected. Of the two the meatball was my favorite, but both were solid. This was a first class meal and I highly recommend coming to Esters if you want to break away from the strip and okay to pay for a nicer lunch experience. You can taste the quality and honestly worth it to just stop in for the Sourdough bread alone! The service was also top notch, very attentive and prompt. We all agreed we wanted to come back next time we are in Vegas to try their dinner.

Once I stepped foot inside and saw a completely packed house with an hour and a half wait and barely standing room at the bar, I knew it was worth whatever wait or process I had to go through. Ultimately I lucked out as an individual. I was able to snag a bar top seat pretty quickly and had I known then I was sitting down to what was going to be one of the best meals of my life, I would have been visibly more excited. Not only was the service absolutely top notch, the people and the regulars there were extremely friendly and outgoing. The vibe was perfect, a strange mix of a place that felt like it had been there for 200 years yet was somehow high energy and vibey. From a killer cocktail recommendation to one of the best steaks I've had in my life and coming from Oklahoma City, where I work a mile away from the stockyards and can get great quality fresh beef six ways from Sunday, that's saying a lot. I usually despise most things truffle but if I was forced to eat that truffle mac and cheese every day for the rest of my life I would consider it a life well lived. While I would have never ordered it on my own, a customer next to me recommended the porn star cocktail and I have to say it was also one of the most delicious things I've ever had in my life. Ten out of ten, top notch experience. Would recommend. Will be back every time I'm in Vegas, no questions asked.

NOPE. You got a nice bowl of soup and a decent size salad. Taste and quality is excellent! Our only tiny bit of feedback would be that the soups needs to be hotter every time we've gone it's lukewarm. Their gumbo soup is really good too. Every meal we've had has been a very nice size portion the quality has been really good, the steaks are tender not full of fat, and nothing has been overcooked or greasy (which I would kind of expect for a diner type of place). I was hesitant about trying the burnt steak ends with the kimchi fried rice and egg off of the summer promotional menu but I was actually quite impressed with the taste and quality and portion size it was way better than I anticipated. On the fried items such as the sampler platter appetizer the quality of it is good and it's not overcooked but the oil needs to be changed because the product is coming out kind of dark and makes it look like it's overcooked (but yet the chicken tenders were not dried out at all they were quite good. Probably the best ones I've had if they had just changed the oil) Whatever brand they're using for their salad dressings is excellent (It's not uncommon to find Caesar or ranch to be on the tangy bitter side but not theirs) We really like that they rotate the soups and the vegetable options everyday. And they also have one soup option that never changes. I wish they would do that for the vegetable as well and have one option that never changes. Service every time has been really friendly and attentive. There have been no issues with the timing of our meals we've never waited excessively long for any anything to come out to the table, drinks are always kept filled as well. Prices are reasonable especially for the portion of food size and the quality as well. And we don't really know any other diner type restaurant such as Denny's or IHOP that would include soup AND salad with almost every entree. The atmosphere is pretty much your diner style decor, the restaurant is very clean and we've never had any issues that we could see. We also really liked the promotional scratch off cards that they gave out for several weeks. That was one of the reasons it kept us coming back and trying other entrees. So other than that tiny little bit of feedback we will absolutely keep coming back. We've heard they're looking at opening three to five more locations around the valley and we look forward to one hopefully opening near the south summerlin area.

The restaurant was always busy, there were often long waits, and we understood why--it offered a very enjoyable dining experience. Unfortunately, our last couple of visits have been very disappointing, especially during my son's recent visit from Southern California. The food simply was not prepared to the standard we had experienced in the past, and the overall experience fell well below our expectations. After that visit, one of the managers, who is no longer with the restaurant, invited us to come back so they could make things right. We appreciated the gesture and accepted the invitation. However, when we returned, we were greeted by a gentleman who introduced himself as the General Manager. Rather than listening and showing empathy, his first response was that he needed to "go check" what had happened. That immediately gave us the impression that our concerns were being questioned instead of acknowledged. One of the issues during our previous visit involved being charged for soda water from the fountain, something that many restaurants provide without charge. Instead of resolving the matter in a customer-focused way, there was resistance. Even after being invited back to make up for our previous experience, we ended up paying the full bill without any effort to honor the goodwill that had been promised. To me, great restaurants are built on more than just food. They are built on hospitality, accountability, and creating a customer-obsessed culture where guests feel valued and respected. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I've also noticed the restaurant doesn't seem to have the same level of activity it once did. I don't know the reasons, but from my perspective, changes in management and a lack of attention to the customer experience may be contributing factors. I truly wish Honey Salt the very best because we once enjoyed dining here. However, based on our recent experiences, I can't recommend it. Others may have a different experience, and I sincerely hope they do, but for me, first impressions--and how a business responds when something goes wrong--leave a lasting impression.
