Rats? Not any more son. Called up this stone cold savage and asked if he could make em all "disappear". He tells me not only will he make that happen, but he'll also get rid of my garbage insulation, replace it with brand new top of the line stuff. Then he promised to seal up any holes new rats could get back in, like if they were looking for their missing rat friends. To top it all off, they bleached the whole place so it was clean as hell, no evidence for the rat cops to find. Was it quiet? Is a whisper quiet? You're damn right it was quiet. I was at home all day working and these dudes were presumably over my head vacuuming up "evidence", I don't know cause I couldn't hear anything. I gotta be honest though it came at a price...a totally reasonable price, even got a discount for knowing the right people (local home improvement magazine) The results? Well for starters my house smells like cotton candy now. Which is pretty sick. Also it's quieter. And as it turns out replacing 2 inches of 50 year old garbage insulation with 8-9 inches of the good stuff means the temperature in my house is the same in every room, I'm not sure how it works but I'm pretty sure it's science. My cat passed away six months ago, so we have had a rodent problem in our attic. So, I called NEO Attic Solutions. This was Thanksgiving week, but Manny came on Wednesday to get a quote to get rid of the rats and to have our attic insulation replaced. We agreed on the price, and Manny's crew came on that Friday. They arrived at 7:40 and were finished by 4:30 that same day. They did a great job. They removed the old insulation and patched the holes where the rodents were making a home. After my husband died early this year, I decided to take care of some things in the house before I have to go back to work. One of these things was inspecting (and upgrading/replacing if necessary) my attic insulation. I found these guys in one of the remodel coupon books delivered to my home. Got estimates from 3 companies in total. These guys had an open day the week following me choosing them to do the job, gave me a bit of a discount if I could do it then (so they didn't have a down day) and I agreed. The team he sent was on time, communicated clearly, protected my house from mess, finished on time and left my house as clean as they found it. Now, my attic has twice the insulation it had before, all animal access has been closed up, and they even were kind enough to replace the filter in my furnace "while they were up there anyway."
