Our group of 10 came in for a rainy tues lunch. We were seated immediately & Celeste our server got our drink orders. There are no prices for any of the drinks - doing understand why this is. I sampled the house & Cadillac marg but ordered the Top Shelf margarita. I thought the house marg tasted kind of funky but the other two were really good & packed a boozy punch. We munched on endless chips & salsa ($7.99) while we waited for our food. The salsa is a medium heat level. My chimichanga looked a & was tasty mostly because of the cheese sauce & enchilada sauce. Street corn was salty, sweet & had a nice seasoning on top. Our server provided good service but with not much friendliness just business like. The food here is delicious but I feel a bit over priced. The prices can be justified by the water view and live music which are an added bonus to eating here! The place has a super upbeat and fun vibe to it. The frozen margaritas had the perfect consistency (we really liked the strawberry banana one). I see others had a bad experience here, and because we were visiting on Lake Race Day, my expectations were super low. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The hostess seemed a little confused on what was going on, but once we were seated, our server was great. He was very attentive and checked on us multiple times. We ordered a bowl and a taco, and thought both were very good! They didn't skimp on the bowl toppings and the fries that came with the taco were crispy and really good. Drinks came our quickly each time, but the food service was very slow. Maybe because of the event (or based on other reviews, maybe they are always slow). I came here for the boat race event. I did not try the food but the experience was amazing. The view of the lake and the dam were gorgeous. You're on the main strip and the experience here was so nice. They have boat slips for rent and have indoor and outdoor seating. Two bars and awesome margaritas. My simplest advice would be for the owners to watch taco chronicles on Netflix. The taco is a simple street food. This place tries way to hard to make it a fancy dish. Way too much crap on the taco! We decided to do our annual Bagnell Dam bar hop in the hear of the day....not the wisest choice we've ever made. Neon Taco was stop two and new to us. They have a deck off the main strip and two decks overlooking the lake with an amazing view (Better than Skinny Dipz view which will be my next review). They have indoor dining as well but it was just as hot inside as it was putside...a/c just cant keep up. $24 for a bucket of domestics (5 beers) or $26 for a bucket of imports (also 5 beers). We decided we needed a snack at this stop and got the $7.99 bottomless chips and salaa. Very tasty salsa (not chunky with a nice heat). Menu appears to have a good selection. read more

Great location! Close to the dam and has some boat parking. I would probably give the food just three stars but the service was excellent. Our waitress Chloe recommended the quesadilla, the street corn, and the neon bowl. They're all pretty good, but my favorite was the quesadilla. Even when it was crowded, the staff seem to be enjoying themselves, and that's always a good sign to me. We will go back for the view and the service. I know they just opened so for being brand new on the strip- kuddos! We came a weekday evening, late afternoon. We had a larger group- my 4 young girls and, my husband and my in-laws. We originally wanted to sit on the porch but the wind was awful and blowing everything around and over- so we asked to sit inside instead. I can't wait for their larger menu to hit- but honestly the bowl I got was incredible and the trio appetizer was great. The guacamole, salsa and queso were really good my only critic on that is they either give more chips or offer unlimited with that appetizer. We needed up with a lot of dip and no chips left. Enjoyed this place so much came here 2 days in a row. The views were stunning with lots of choices of where to sit. Live music both times we came and Blake and Aaron were wonderfully talented musicians. The tacos we got were delicious ad full of flavor which I wasn't expecting for Missouri. We got the street tacos and neon tacos and both were exceptional. The ranch water was delicious and the margaritas were great and not overly sweet. The atmosphere is great but I feel like that's the only thing they got going for them the drinks are incredibly strong and they only have one flavor for a margarita and it's not that great. It is an AMERICAN Mexican place. For endless Chips and salsa is $8 but if you want Queso guacamole and salsa I think it's around 15. I wasn't impressed with the food either our chips were greasy and at the bottom The grease settled. The Queso quac and salsa was kinda bland, it was missing spices that I would normally love. The neon bowl all together was bland and my rice was kinda crunchy. After two drinks and my bowl I spent 40 dollars. My Friends payed 50-90 dollars when we could have went to an actual Mexican restaurant and payed 15-25 read more
