Our group, 8 adults and 1 kid went today. We loved the vibes and view. Service was great! The place was pretty empty and our server was on top of it, got our food fast. The food however was pretty disappointing. We tried street tacos, shrimp tacos, margaritas, chicken burrito, fries, beans, corn, etc. between the whole group we tried half the things on the menu. Overall, everyone was disappointed with the food. - Street tacos were flavorless and meat was tough - Shrimp tacos tasted fishy, which is concerning because it's hard for shrimp to taste fishy. - Mahi mahi burrito tasted fishy too - The fries were all undercooked and soggy - No free chips and salsa - One side option for the tacos was "chips"... but it didn't come with salsa. - Margaritas were alright. We were there Sunday and we were planning on going into the restaurant for a couple of drinks but our attention was caught by the girl at the bar on top of the stairs. She was all by herself just jamming to tunes and her vibes immediately drew us in. The vibes at this bar were beyond what I expected and the whole experience was one to remember. Rachael was so attentive and even let us choose some songs to play so we could all jam out together. We had just eaten so we just ordered some drinks with our group. We went to Neon Taco on a Sunday around 3 o'clock. The street level hostess greeted us and we said we wanted to sit outside lakeside. She directed us to the lower level hostess who greeted us and sat us at a table outside. We were quickly brought water, but the outside waitress did everything in her power not to make any eye contact with our table. There were only 3 other tables with people so the waitress didn't appear to be too busy, but she just ignored us. After 20 minutes we decided to leave. We mentioned our experience to the lower level hostess and she looked up from her phone and said "Oh" and went back to her phone. The street level hostess seemed concerned over our experience but by then it was too late. We had the same experience when we went in 2021. There are many other good restaurants on the strip so I see no need to got to one with terrible service. read more

I'm only giving 1 star because there isn't an option for zero stars. We waited an hour and a half for food and weren't offered chips or anything else complimentary while waiting. Food was wrong and had to be sent back, twice. Still wrong. The manager, who only offered a 10% discount despite our horrendous experience, was annoyed that she had to keep returning to the kitchen with our wrong order and literally dropped it on the table the last time. Had to ask for boxes twice. The 10% comp wasn't applied to the bill. Had to ask for that also. The food actually was good. That's the only positive thing I can say about this place. Our group of 7 went on Wednesday, 8/24/22, for the Bagnell Dam Strip experience before the Shootout. The atmosphere was the bomb!! Live music, she was really good, and accommodating with our requests. Had the guac/queso/salsa appetizer...amazing! Tried a steak, bean and guac burrito. Oh, and don'tforget the drinks!!. Great stuff! Servers attentive and friendly. Tacos were so full that you couldn't pick them up. I used the chips to eat it. Burrito was very good as well. Great queso and pico (the menu notes pico and salsa Fresca. The server said they were the same). We love guacamole but their guac was not to our liking. We simply don't feel beans belong in guac and the flavor was sort of off. No free chips and salsa was disappointing at a Mexican restaurant but the salsa was really good!! Stopped in for lunch and was blown away with how amazing the drinks and food were. I started off with the spicy margarita and it was delicious had a little bit of heat from the jalapeños but was refreshing and not to sweet like most margaritas. I would highly recommend to try one!!! For lunch we had fish tacos and steak tacos on flour tortillas both were loaded up and for the price thought it was a good deal. Would recommend both tacos but my favorite was the fish. If you are near the Dam and looking for some good drinks, fabulous view & good tacos this is your place.
