The place is cute inside. They open early so it's a plus. I tried the matcha latte and it was alright. The matcha was very weak (not enough matcha?) and it tastes mostly milky

Fun and colorful spot in Downtown Portland! Baristas were friendly and knowledgeable of menu. Came for a quick coffee and tried their Oregon Latte. It was tasty, not sweet, so I'd add a sweetener packet next time but good overall.

Taking Les Fauves bag if coffee home with us to enjoy I'm the mornings for a while.

Never Coffee was a good coffee shop stop while on our last trip to Portland! This was very close to our hotel which was the McMenamins Crystal Hotel. We ducked in here one morning and got a bag of coffee beans to take home and enjoy freshly ground coffee in the morning at home. But we also wanted to try a coffee drink here and hang out for just a bit. We got a hot vanilla latte with oat milk. It was very good and the coffee had a nice, robust flavor to it. The vanilla blended in nicely to make it more mellow and add a bit of complexity to the drink. The folks that worked here were nice and friendly and it was enjoyable to chat with them for a brief moment. The atmosphere is clean and sleek which gives it a nice refreshing feeling.

I love this coffee shop. One of my go to's in Portland. This was my first time at this location. The cappuccino was really solid. They always do the prettiest latte art which I love. If you are into interesting flavors and syrups in your lattes they have a ton of options on the menu. Ambiance is great in here, spacious, bright, good amount of seating. Baristas are really friendly. Overall, great spot.

Amazing experience! Delicious, quality matcha and house made syrups. The shop is colorful and fun without being too bright. The art pieces are lovely and add to the atmosphere. The staff is kind and talented. The tables are the exact right height to get work down and the concrete benches are aesthetic without being uncomfortable. Just go. You won't regret it.

I came to Never Coffee, recommended by a local friend and I wasn't blown away. Service wasn't really friendly as a a customer or first timer asking questions; you really need to be direct when asking questions as they don't really want to converse / be friendly lol. The coffee wasn't amazing. To be honest, for the steep price of $7, it was mid af. Honestly, I don't seem myself coming back. I didn't try a specialty drink, as I'm a firm believer in basics and foundations.... If my basic latte was mid, I don't want to pay more for a basic latte covered in syrups.

Love the vibe of this place, the fantastic selection of unique lattes that other cafes don't do, and the quality of the coffee! Friendly baristas for the cherry on top!

I ordered the "Oregon" latte. I asked for a little Extra caramel sauce (Dulce de Lethe) as well as Extra Hot. It was excellent! The only reason I deducted one star is because the price is a little high for a small 12 ounce coffee. $8 is pretty steep! I asked the employee if they would upsize it to their a larger 16 ounce size, if I paid a little more. Unfortunately, she said it only comes in that size. Not sure if I will come back due to the high price. it's not like I'm a rich bit*^!! Not to mention, Portland has a lot of great coffee for less money.

Never Coffee will always be a staple in PDX. From their unique lattes to their whimsical ambience, this place is unmatched. The service has always been great, and the baristas know what they're doing to make delicious drinks!

I love love love Never coffee! It's such a creative space with a creative coffee menu. My hubby got the yuzu and salt latte and I ordered the seasonal lavender haze latte. Both were delicious and unique adding subtle and creative flavors. I also took home a bag of coffee and really enjoyed it on my espresso machine! You have to check out this lovely shop when in Portland!

I love, love, love the aesthetic! I was immediately taken by that. Very colorful, arty pastel. The impasto wall behind the main counter area is gorgeous. They have a nice variety to the menu and selection of beans. I didn't check it out other than from a distance but looks like very cute merch. The cold brew is solid. Which is my usual go to. Flavorful, strong, and potent. Very very nice. I got the iced orange creamsicle latte special with oatmilk. This had a great flavor but a little more milk in it than would be my preference. I would just ask for less next time.

Iced Yuzu and Salt Latte and hot Oregon Latte
Jesica V.

I was looking for a place with adventurous coffees and Never did not disappoint. We had an iced Yuzu with Salt latte and a hot Oregon. First off, the quality of the beans is exceptional and makes for a silky smooth latte and the syrups are subtle and sophisticated. I thin though, that the Yuzu disappeared in the ice so next time I'd get it hot. Because the aroma and delicate flavor of hops in on the hot Oregon Latte was one of the most delicious things I've ever had. Service is good and ambiance is serviceable. It's a regular cafe space with a few tables and window seating -- so this is somewhere you come FOR THE COFFEE. it will not disappoint.

Grabbed a drip coffee here on a cold, rainy day, and it was very good. The barista was friendly and accommodating.

I love the coffee, somehow it manages to have a unique vibe among portland coffee shops and usually it's not too long of a line.

Love it. Great vibes, great drinks. I had "The Fall" and it was a great amount of caffeine. Will definitely come again.

This reminds me of the Korean cafes that are sprinkled all over Southern California. We were delighted to see it here! I ordered a black sesame late and a black sesame mochi donut. Being only one barista, right after you order, he makes your drink immediately. You can hear and see the espresso shots being made and the ice filling your cups. Dependent on your order, he pulls out the cream for the top. I can see the black sesame cream top being very thick and full. A lot of patrons were ordering their tiramisu latte, and I don't blame them! It's what is very popular here. Personally, I enjoyed the black sesame latte very much. It was the perfect amount of cream and sweetness. The taste didn't overpower the coffee, which is nice. Their mochi donuts were good, too, with the consistency of mochi dough. Definitely would make another stop here if I'm ever around!

They are located outdoors within a repurposed trimet station, which add such a a unique Portland touch to their vibe. Although usually a 1-2 person operation, drinks always come out relatively quick! I tried the tiramisu latte and the black sesame latte. The tiramisu latte was easily my favorite. The cream top is rich and delicious, and when mixed into the coffee it really tastes like a classic tiramisu dessert. It's sweet, smooth, and feels like a treat without being overwhelming. The black sesame latte was also great, especially if you like nutty flavors. It has a natural sweetness with a deep roasted sesame taste that almost reminds me of peanut butter, making it both comforting and unique. I've also had their regular latte before and really appreciate the quality of their espresso. The coffee itself has a smooth, balanced flavor that stands out even without added syrups or toppings. A great spot to visit if you enjoy creative specialty drinks but still want genuinely good coffee underneath it all.

Great service from friendly barista. I ordered the Chocolate Jesus and my kid had the Arabic People's Latte. Both drinks were unique and superbly delicious with cardamom accents. I've been here quite a few times and have really enjoyed the Aribic People's latte with its strong cardamon overtones, the Chocolate Jesus and today, the Mucho Calliente, which promises a chili infusion, and cinnamon infused espresso with dark chocolate! But wait..., oh no, I forgot to ask for oat... this is probably (certainly) dairy. Argh! Sorry, I have no Viking blood and can not digest cow milk. I would rather battle the aforementioned Viking before I'd endure the results of ... dairy! So, I brought my drink up fully prepared to pay for another and everyone there, EVERYONE, in almost unison, refused to take my payment. They kindly and quickly made another and... oh... spicy indeed, but chocolatey and balanced! One of the best spicy mochas I've had anywhere ... and I am an absolute Spella snob and proud of it!
