I went to Dr. Sorkin at New Age Dental for an emergency with my top molar. I was in horrible pain. I have never been treated so well at a dentist office. They took me right away, listened to my concerns and examined my tooth. The tooth was cracked and needed to be extracted. Dr. Sorkin knew how much pain I was in and was very careful to make sure to explain step by step what she was doing. The most important thing to me is that she actually cared and showed it. She even called to check on me after the procedure. I don't know of any dentist that does that. I highly recommend New Age Dental and Dr. Sorkin. I can't imaging going anywhere else. read more

Dr Sorkin is nice and does an appropriate job cleaning teeth. The office is clean. There is ample parking. I never have to wait long in the waiting room and the waiting room is never crowded. They've gone through a slew of dental hygienists over the years. The new front desk / office manager person is abrasive and pushy. Every time I talk to her it feels like a shakedown. Her customer service skills are definitely lacking. I miss Jen. It recently dawned on me - and I got confirmation - that I have been being over-billed for services that were not rendered. This is unethical and doesn't sit well with me. So after years of going to New Age Dental, I plan on taking my family's dental business elsewhere. Pay attention to what they bill you - you might be overpaying in unnecessary copays and/or they might be scamming your insurance and saying you received services that you never received. read more

Absolute best care. We have been going here for many years, and I highly advise this place to be considered by anyone. Fantastic professionals, really good customer care, and the whole experience is made as pleasant as possible considering there is nothing pleasant about fixing teeth to begin with. Results are perfect and fillings and crowns I got here last for a very long time. Dr. Sorkin is the best dentist I have encountered, and she is really good at explaining the options and finding the best solution. My wife and I have been going to Dr. Sorkin for the last 10 years and cannot be more pleased with Dr. Sorkin. We drive an hour away just to see her twice a year and it is so worth the drive. She had been bugging me for a couple years to get a night guard but I always said no. This year I tried it and wow what a difference it has made for me. I used to snore a little and with the nightguard I'm able to breathe so much easier at night which is making me feel extremely refreshed in the morning. Dr. Sorkin is an outstanding health provider. She's interested in knowing your full health history. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2017 and some of the drugs I take cause my body to be very dry, especially my mouth. We discussed things and decided I should come in 3-4 a year for a while so she can make certain my gums stay healthy. I've never had a moments trouble or pain with any of the work she's done (crowns, and replacement fillings). She and her whole team make you feel at ease and you never worry about hidden costs because everything is written up for you before any work is done. Everyone here is very friendly. But thousands of dollars later, I'm left with 2.5 awful crowns (a piece of the 3rd crown just broke off while brushing my teeth tonight), and a root canal where I can still feel every single ounce of pain I was feeling in the tooth before the root canal. I thought the whole reason for a root canal was to remove the nerves so the pain would stop?! The second crown fell out after only 2.5 months. When I went back for her to stick it back in she somehow got acid all over my lip which caused a really bad burn on my lower lip that was very painful and took weeks to heal. All of this work was done about 2-3 years ago. Crowns should last longer than that! I had one from 1994 in there! I kept complaining of tooth pain and she kept asking me if I have sinus issues. When I breathe in and air hits my tooth and it hurts, that's not a sinus issue it's a tooth that's sensitive for a reason. She did the dental cleaning herself (no dental hygienist) and it was the shortest, most incomplete dental cleaning experience I've ever had. So many steps were missed that I was used to having performed by other hygienists. Run away from this place. read more
