However the two dishes taste the same but hardly any lo mein noodles but more vegetables and when I called them to tell them, they told me to look at the bottom of the dish lol and it wasn't like I expected and there was a few floating noodles! I ordered the chicken pad Thai lunch special (for $7 sounded like a great deal) and the place seemed clean. I waited about 10 mins for my food and took it back to my apartment. The color of my pad Thai was light yellow and it didn't have ANY sauce on it. They use a very watery brown sauce with no flavor and only put a small amount on it, so it fell to the bottom of the container. I can tell the team cares about their food, as I have never tasted better fast chinese food from the neighborhood. Good spot to order takeout, they honor online requests if you ask for extra sauce and stuff. Tried the Moo Shu Pork (aka chinese style fajitas) and it was really good. Good strong "pancakes" (chinese tortillas) that held up pretty well, lots of extra hoisin sauce, and everything tasted great. Also had the Scallion Pancakes - also pretty good except they give a spicy ranch dipping sauce instead of the regular garlic/ginger dipping sauce, which was weird and a bit dissapointing. My gripe is that the portions are pretty small and they fill the takeout containers with 2/3 rice and 1/3 entree. Like that they use fresh cut vegetables rather than frozen ones. My go-tos are chicken w/ mixed veg, crab Rangoon(a tad too sweet) and dumplings. Ask for their chicken dumplings-they're good and taste homemade. BUYER BEWARE!! Pathetic is the word that comes to mind. This is the worse experience ever ordering take out since the beginning of the internet! It took close to 3 hours for the food to arrive and the food was completely cold. I kept calling to find out what was going on 3 times during the order The first time they promised a callback and never did. On the 2nd call, one hour after the order was placed, they said it was in route. A 3rd call was placed an hour later, again they said it was in route. 45 minutes later the food arrives and they have the audacity to ignore the delivery instructions to deliver it directly to my office and wanted to make me pick it up curbside, close to 3 hours late. The lo main was pretty decent, a big portion, and good flavors. We added a bit of extra soy sauce, and it tasted delicious. The chicken garlic was excellent, just like you would get it in a $$ restaurant in a Chinese neighborhood, like Flushing. Big chicken cuts, softly delicious and spiced on point. The vegetable fried rice was the only disappointment of the night, being under-spiced and bland on flavor. We added soy sauce and it felt more enjoyable. It's been a while since the last time I went, but there's this super nice lady that would always greet me when I went in and even the people making the food would come out sometimes and ask me about how I want my food made and make some small talk while they were preparing my food. No, this is not an authentic Thai restaurant so don't expect the best drunken noodles ever made, but these were SO good and for less than $10 they'd always stuff the container. Hibachi chicken with rice was also amazing. Actually tasted a lot better and less oily than actual hibachi places I've been to (you know the ones where they make the food at the table right in front of you). Everything else I've gotten has not been a disappointment, but the drunken noodles and hibachi are my favorites. This review is based on the fried shrimp and fried scallops that I ordered. The fried shrimp was good, although I noticed they weren't deveined which bothered me a little, but they tasted good. I did not like the fried scallops. They tasted like deep fried fish cake to me, but my friend had no problem eating them all for me. I had a bite of the seafood pancake and that was fine. The sauce it came with was very good. Our order also came with a free egg roll which was nice, but I didn't get to try it. I wanted to try other things, but I tried searching online and couldn't find descriptions for anything on their menu! I think there was something called creamy shrimp, I really would've liked to know what that looked like. I wish they had a menu with descriptions and/or pictures somewhere.
