I used to think this place was 5 star, but tonight my experience with carry-out service changed that. All was well placing the order and when I went to pick up food while their was a line no worries it's a busy Friday night. Sadly though as I waited in line I looked back in the kitchen and observed elderly gentleman rubbing his nose then continue on working. My hope was that he was just mopping and sweep up work as he was not standing directly in the food prep area. My food had already been packed and ready to go so I didn't say anything as the restaurant was full and to this point my food and service has been 4-5 stars. Continuing on I get home and proceed to serve food to family only to discover one of main dishes was incorrect. I return to restaurant and nicely speak with cashier and they proceed to make correct dish. As I'm waiting i look in the kitchen and observe a different staff member that was scooping white rice into the carry-out containers rub his nose with fingers then continue on working and to top it off when rice got on his contaminated hand and he flicked into the container of rice he was in the process of closing. One time is a fluke or mistake, but multiple occurrences in the same night by different employees is a strong indicator food handling guide lines are not being followed in this kitchen. read more

Was looking for a new Chinese place to eat since the last place gave us food poisoning. This place was pretty good! They're egg rolls were really blan though :( But the pineapple chicken, egg fried rice, chicken lo mein were GREAT! We also tried the Dry sautéed beef chow fun... I love this place! We ordered lemon chicken, vegetable fried rice, crab puffs, and egg drop soup. Everything was so good. The crab puffs were the best I've had, and the fried rice was amazing, with lots of fresh vegetables. The chicken was tender and the lemon was just right, not too overpowering. I order from them during work with a bunch of people. They always come pretty quickly even with the vast amount that we order. I ordered from home a few times and they said 30-45 and get here way faster than that. Their portions could be a little bit bigger on some of the entrees for the price, which is why I knocked off a star, but if you order fried rice or lo mien, great portions for the price. Their lunch specials are really awesome too. So if you're looking for great flavor and are craving the buffet Chinese flavoring without going to the buffet, they are great to order from. You need to purchase $15 or more for delivery, but that's easy to do with just an entree and a side, or you can just go and pick it up. Happy eating. read more

The food was hot and tasted amazing. I used to order from Pink Flamingo but this place won my business for as long as they stay consistent. Here is what we ordered: Crab Puffs- Wasn't a big fan of them, not a deal breaker Egg Rolls- Again not a big fan but tasty nonetheless Shrimp Fried Rice- LARGE SHRIMP!! COOKED PERFECT, most places overcook their shrimp in the shrimp fried rice but these were cooked perfectly plump Mongolian Beef- Prefect amount of spice and flavorful new favorite Orange Chicken- Very Tasty!! Might have to dine in next time because the condensation from the take out box took away the crispy it should have been but that entrée didn't last long. Might have to get 2 orders next time. Love this place. The deliveries are always CRAZY quick, the food is hot & fresh. Generally I get the Veggie fried Rice- has a TON of broccoli and other veggies in it, not all bamboo shoots and water chestnuts like some of the "other" joints in the area. My boyfriend and I love this restaurant, the food is great, the service is always pleasant, there isn't anything I have tried that I would not recommend! My favorite is shrimp fried rice with its large, perfectly cooked prawns, moo shoo porks fresh vegetables paired with their special plum sauce, the wonton soup is always in our order especially during the cold weather, their lo mein is never dry or old always plentiful,colorful and delicious, the orange chicken is always crunchy never soggy! We order frequently in or out they never forget anything or leave anything out! They deliver promptly and you can run your credit card when the delivery person arrives. I ordered the lunch beef and broccoli and it was very tasty. It came with rice, crab puff and an egg roll. I also ordered an order of crab puffs which were really good and they gave me a good amount. They delivered my food fast and hot. The portions were more than enough and the price wasn't too bad at all either. All in all I have to say I will be ordering from this place again. It's just your regular run of the mill, hole in the wall chinese joint. No crazy special dishes or anything unexpected. As decent Chinese delivery options seem to be sparse for those of us who live North of the 101, this place is pretty good. Ordered four different spicy dishes, though not as spicy as I or anyone else who was eating with me wanted, all the dishes had a good flavor. Nothing was over salted, the meat was a decent quality and unlike other places I've eaten and wasn't all fat and gristle. They also get extra points for not using that red sickly sweet, sweet and sour sauce. It was light pink and still a bit sweeter than I liked, but it was tolerable. We like this place for delivery. They are quick, friendly, and affordable. We like the chicken lo mein and the chicken with broccoli. They use white meat and the sauces and veggies taste fresh and hot upon delivery. They put lots of veggies in the lo mein. My daughter and I had food delivered yesterday. O my goodness everything we ordered came hot and freshly prepared. My favorite was the Crab Puffs and the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Just had delivery for 1st time yesterday and I was so happy to finally find a Chinese restaurant in the area that was good. I have tried several over the years and usually they are way to greasy, chewy or bland. I had the Mongolian beef and I really liked it. I had the lunch special, good price, so I also had their egg roll and crab puff. It was all really good. Just ordered delivery for lunch. Beef and Broccoli and Cashew Chicken. The broccoli was delicious but the sauce was just a little salty but overall it was very good. I could take or leave the Cashew Chicken. Nothing to write home about. The zuckini in it wasnt very fresh or vibrant. Both meals were only $4.95 on the lunch menue and they come with brown rice, crab puff (more like dessert than anything. I could eat a dozen of these things), and an eggroll (wich was.. an eggroll.Nothing really to be said). The portions were pretty big and for the price you really cant beat it. Overall, the price and speed of the delivery were what will get me to try it again. We went here for date night and we got there after 8 so we were the only patrons in the restaurant. Service was attentive and the food was great. We had the pu pu platter, Dry beef Chow Fun and Shrimp in Lobster Sauce. The lobster sauce wasn't what I expected - more a brown sauce than a fishy (lobstery), but it was still good.
