The hibatchi is th e best part of this buffet. It has many choices for vegetables, meat and sauces. It has the most choices out of all the hibatchi buffets ive been to in HR. The choices on the buffet are extensive also with something for everyone. My favorite thing on the buffet was the plaintains, great flavor and cooked well. My bf enojoyed the crawfish the most, im not sure how many plates he had but if he had one more, they would have probably kicked us out. This place used to be somewhat better. I wouldn't jump out on a limb and say it was ever "good", but definitely better than tonight. A great deal of the items were cold and mostly barely warm. The flavor of the Sweet & Sour sauce was bland and consistency was thin. This was clearly thrown together without checking. Dessert selection was skimpy and what was there not good. Real chill buffet, constantly you see groups coming in and out which is a great thing being you always see the buffet getting refreshed. The options were also pretty good and good kid options some item were s little spicy for my little one but no issues for me. Went on a Sunday night with some hungry people. I have an aversion to buffets, because of hygiene of so many people handling the utensils, short people below the sneeze guard and I want to be served when out not get my own, lol. This is ultra casual here. Patrons apparently don't wash their hands before they eat, gag. I'm not phobic but c'mon people let's minimize the germs we pick up throughout the day. This place appears clean, the trays are refilled often, typical selection of Chinese foods and American staples. They offer crab legs for dinner but not lunch. They have raw oysters but they look unfriendly, and there is mounds of chilled peel n eat shrimp. They've even got Kimchee. Today my issue was all these kids SERVING themselves, I'm sorry but that's a big fat no-no and the staff stood by and didn't say anything. Second turn off was the amount flies at the tables. There was no obvious reason for them so I assume there's a yucky reason, it's very cool in there too? Third strike was the big roach strolling across the wall like it was a VIP. I'm not naive about critters in kitchens but I don't want to see a roach with a pit bull on his back. And certainly not a 5&6 yo's handling the utensils (they looked like they came from a day in the park on top of that!) So I stayed safe with my food choices and ate crab legs and shrimp they come in natures shell. My friends loved their stuff and I didn't share my observations or opinions, ignorance is bliss. This is one of the better buffets. Not quite Captain George's, but about a 6 on the buffet scale of 1 to 10. After seeing the commercial for this place "You come, you like" I KNEW I had to go and like. The food was all pretty fresh and someone was continuously walking along the lines to make sure pans were full and counters were clean. They have all of the usual suspects: orange chicken, general tso, beef and broccoli, white rice, fried rice, lo mein....and yes crab legs. That's a hard thing to do at a buffet, maintain cleanliness that is, people are SLOPPY McDIRTY... Needless to say, the atmosphere is nice, lots of fish in tanks and if I had to choose a local buffet to go to, I would come here again. read more

This is a disgrace. A pathetic excuse for an establishment. Myself and some friends visited here our of curiosity. Loud, Dirty, and Inexcusable. I thought Happy Buffet (located near Lynnhaven was bad), this takes the cake. By far! I don't even want to go into details about the mediocre servers, because it's not even worth it. Garbage. I went here with over 75 of my family members to end our family reunion. That's right. Seventy-five. There was plenty of room for everyone to sit comfortably and plenty of food for us to eat! The best thing here: The Mongolian bowl. You get to pick your vegetables, meat (chicken, beef, pork) noodles, rice and there are nearly two dozen oils, sauces and seasonings for you to pour in little cups to flavor your bowl. You pile everything on a plate, stand in line and a guy cooks your ingredients FAST. If your bowl tastes bad, it's your own fault LOL I did not try any of the seafood but it seemed to be a popular choice and there was also plenty of it: crab legs, scallops, clams, and shrimp on the buffet, well worth the $11.99 price on a Sunday. Yes, yes, yes!!!!! After my last trip to a Hampton Chinese buffet (that was somewhat disappointing), this buffet was spot on! We tried it on 9-25-19 for the first time and went back on 9-28-19 to celebrate a birthday. We both had the buffet for $22 plus tip! VERY GOOD!!!!! Huge disappointment again. We came for the Sunday Buffet. The main attraction is crab legs. They don't bring many out and it took almost 30 minutes to replenish them. I asked the manager and his exact words to me were, "This is not a seafood buffet. It's a Chinese buffet. Crab legs cost $40 a pound." WOW! Ok then don't have crab legs then. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and the setting was quite pleasant. There was a large fish aquarium that was very clean and nice to look at. On the opposite side as I entered the place I noticed a rather unmaintained fountain with goldfish swimming in greenish brown water..maybe algae buildup...uhh yuck! Anyways, We were there for dinner and the first thing i noticed gone( except for a few stragglers) were the snow crab legs. Mind you, My wife and I came there, craving crab legs..and even after we left, they never replemished it...Fail. oh well, next time I guess. Well wasn't very happy. I've been to plenty and when I find one I like. We will always go back often. Unfortunately this does not fall into that category. The selection at the Buffett was not very good, the food seemed to be kept at very low temperature. Almost glad they didn't have a sushi selection. Service was normal so no complaints there. Way over priced for its quality. I doubt we will be back. Also not child friendly, they must understand like other buffets do, buffets are usually a big family draw that brings children. My husband and I eat here pretty frequently. The restaurant is clean, the staff are attentive and the owner is a sweetheart. Crablegs are delicious as is the Mongolian BBQ. I try to stay away from Buffets because it inevitably leads to an uncomfortably full belly. However, I like this place because of their Mongolian BBQ grill. It's always fresh and well stocked. I can have a huge helping of freshly cooked vegetables with my own sauce choice. Then I don't feel so guilty about my healthy serving of Crab Ragoon and Spring rolls! =) The waitresses are wonderful and always play with my kids. My family frequently visit this place. It is probably one of the nicer buffet places that I have visited in the area. The place is big, food is good, and the place is clean. Also the cost is pretty cheap and crab legs are in included in your dinner buffet. The owner is nice and her staff is wonderful! I rated this 4 stars because on occasions my husband will go here and as soon as he leaves he needs to go to the restroom....and because I recently visited a place that had a pest problem and looked up their info on the local health department website and I did the same for this place and the past inspections weren't the greatest....I encourage everyone to check inspections before going to different places. read more

Well as far as buffets go it was hit or miss. I will say that at least this places crab legs were warm and they had melted butter for them but no way to open them efficiently. Most of their seafood was decent, although the salmon was dry and their fish filet was meh. I did enjoy their crab imperial. It was that faux crab but in a butter and cheese sauce. Very good. For their wanton soup, the broth was excellent but the wantons were mushy from sitting in it too long. I did not have the mongolian bbq though. I like Top Mongolian and Warriors too much to try another. The server was very attentive and all the staff there was very friendly. read more

Definitely best Chinese buffet in the 7 cities and I have tried almost all of them. If you want to eat light they have fresh salad bar, fresh fruit, and this awesome clear broth fish soup. I went for lunch approx. 1:30 today. Too much chicken. The coconut chicken was so dry and cold. The lomein was cold too. The sugar biscuits were hard and cold. Pretty much the food was dull. I come here when I want to get my grub on. You know, when you want to stuff yourself and have someone roll you out. This is my favorite place. They have tons of different varieties of American Chinese items. It's always busy. Presumably the owner is standing at the hostess stand and she's definitely friendly. The waitresses are all cute and young and keep your drinks filled and take your plates away in a timely manner. They love my 2 year old and flirt with him, he eats up the attention. He always scores us a ton of fortune cookies that we use as a bribe for future car rides. They also have a few American options like pizza and my husband loves their rolls. They also have ice cream, but it's kind of off to the side so we've been many times before I realized they had Jack and Jill ice cream cups. They're open every day even Christmas! read more
