Best lo mein I've had in Denver! The sauce is so flavorful and actually sticks to the noodles. The fried tofu option is so good. Huge portion sizes and made really quickly. Uploading a menu because their website was a little funky to navigate.

I've been a regular at this place since I first moved to Denver over 20 years ago, back when it was…read morestill called Hemingways. The atmosphere is just a gem, a truly unique treat for the Wash Park neighborhood. It's cozy in winter with the fireplace in the front room. It's hopp'n during warmer seasons with the open concept of garage doors onto the side patio and the accordion doors in the front bar for all the fresh breezes. The tiki bar is fantastic for private parties and special occasions. But, that's just the layout. I love meeting friends there because it's reasonably priced, has a great happy hour, is central to downtown, and consistent with food as well as service. For someone who only eats chicken and seafood, that's another reason I enjoy this place and their oysters.

We tried the lobster Benedict, and it was my favorite dish. I wish they would offer this all the time, but it was just a special. The breakfast potatoes that came with this were the best I had ever had. Seriously consider making this a full time dish guys!!! We also ordered the shrimp and grits. I'm from Alabama, so I know this dish well. It was fabulous. My only complaint is the amount of broth with the lack of grits. More grits with less broth would be more favorable. We also tried the grilled calamari. It was good, but I don't know that I'd order this again as it was not a dish for me. With that being said, we will be back to try more specials. The vibe of this restaurant is so on point. It feels like you're stepping into old Florida!

Absolutely Exceptional…read more Jack's on Pearl exceeded every expectation. As Texas transplants, we've enjoyed some incredible steakhouses over the years and have traveled extensively, but this was truly one of the best dining experiences we've had. We even drove up from Colorado Springs for our 18th wedding anniversary, and it was worth every mile. We started with the wedge salad, which was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor--easily one of the best wedge salads we've ever had. The warm bread service was incredible and paired perfectly with the house-made spreads. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and absolutely unforgettable. The highlight of the evening was the Wagyu steak topped with cheesy potato croquettes. It was cooked to perfection and so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor and was one of those dishes you continue talking about long after the meal is over. What impressed us most was that every single item we ordered was exceptional. The quality of the ingredients, attention to detail, presentation, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. After reading some of the reviews beforehand, we weren't sure what to expect. In our experience, this restaurant is incredibly underrated. Our meal, service, and overall experience were outstanding from start to finish. If you're looking for a special dinner, anniversary celebration, or simply one of the best meals you'll have in Colorado, Jack's on Pearl is absolutely worth the visit. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you to the entire team for making our 18th anniversary so memorable. -- Andrea & Sergio

We ordered the salmon Sashimi to start (epic), the Hipster Wedge salad, (yummmm) and the filet Champion style. THAT was one of the best steaks we have ever eaten. Incredible. The service was outstanding, the lighting/ ambiance were perfect. Pearl Street in Denver is a cool little district to walk around when the weather is nice too. Loved the area! We will be back!

Our server, Malik, was so professional, courteous, engaging, gave us great suggestions and our meal experience was even better with him as our server! We ordered the Happy Hour cocktails of lemon drop martinis and a regular martini. Ordered a half-dozen of the Pearl oysters and they were so yummy, we ordered another half-dozen. Well-presented and delicious! We then ordered the Nantucket Risotto (only been on the menu for 2 weeks), the Blue Island Diver's Platter (ask for the octopus), a Happy Hour Crispy Slider and Fish Taco. We combined this with a glass of white wine and red wine. The meal was absolutely fabulous and we then finished this spectacular meal with sharing a key lime pie. Once again, Malik made this meal even better with his genuine smile, attentiveness and efficiency. I will say for the oyster deal it has been good, but sometimes the oysters aren't cleaned well. Again a hit and miss. The ambiance is nice and soothing, very ocean blue. We have also tried some sides and other entrees. The shrimp entree was good but lacked some salt. The burger was amazing with the bacon jam and always have the best shoestring fries. I also got an order of the crispy rice that has a salmon and a tuna. The salmon was way too sweet and had a fishy aftertaste that I disliked. The truffle tuna was definitely the better one of the two. However, the rice itself was absolutely mushy and not necessarily crispy. It also didn't have the best flavor. Desserts tried were the olive oil orange cake and the brownie. both are OK and nice and sweet, but not something I would spend money on Overall, truly think this place is a hit and miss. Just depends on the night.

But this was Monday evening and we were seated immediately. Our server said that we had 5 minutes left for Happy Hours--thank you!!--so ordered Caliente Margaritas and appetizers. The nachos were delicious--and messy! The Margaritas were as well. I had a nonalcoholic Athletic Brewing Company Cerveza Atletica (Mexican style copper). There were several other NA cocktails and beers available as well. We were all very pleased with our entrees. They were all luscious. Two of us are vegetarian and there were plenty of choices. I had Crispy Avocado Tacos, which came with black beans, and a side of Street Corn--both great choices. My friend had quesadillas and Potato Flautas , which I tasted and almost wish I had ordered as well. Our carnivore gentleman partners were also very happy, with one of them choosing a sampler, "Perdida's 'Best Of' Plate." Perdida is a great new addition to the Wash Park area.

The private room was small, but light and airy with huge windows/French doors that opened to a patio. Having the evening air come in during our meeting was so refreshing after being trapped in an office all day. The impeccable service offered by Kenny and team was very noticeable in the sense that we did not lack for anything we asked for. I ordered a gin and Yuzu Curaçao cocktail that came in a martini glass with a hydrogen bubble on top. Every time I try to take a picture it would pop right before I could do it! Kenny came to my rescue starting a new bubble at least five times so I could get the right video! The drink was solid and I would definitely order it again. Great wine list Kenny took care of my wine choice for me when I wasn't sure what to get by asking my preferences and suggesting three choices. A prefixed meal was ordered by the event planner, which gave us an awesome sampling of the sesame crusted Aji tuna over the best fried rice rice ever! I couldn't stop eating the rice, which was frustrating because I wanted to eat other things too! The chicken was tender and served with a lovely, light sauce. The mashed potatoes were decadent with a cheesy topping. The asparagus was grilled to perfection. Oh, and the appetizers were fantastic too. There was a delicious Caesar salad and some kind of cheesesteak eggrolls that were addictive. The desserts included a type of bananas, Foster, I believe and the most amazing chocolate lava cake, and a pineapple upside down cake. All were decadent and delicious. I am saving this restaurant for my guest to come to town with discriminating restaurant taste!

I feel fortunate because read other reviews here that said it took 2 months to secure a Monday reservation. I recently decided that I am not going to live a gluten free lifestyle even if my 4th cousin from 23andme suggested that everyone on earth is gluten intolerant and there is a global conspiracy to poison us all with gluten ataxia. Starting with the bread, we were already impressed. The texture was perfect, crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. There was another review that said it's not that great. Not sure what that persons problem is. I didn't know what to order so got the pasta rustica, a little marinara some ricotta. I understand from the other reviews that this is American Italian food but worked for me. My partner enjoyed the steak/Gorgonzola pasta. That was tasty too, I had the leftovers the next day!
