The food 15 years ago with another owner was good too. This time, trying out their Mongolian beef was very good. Finally had the chance to come back to the restaurant after a long time. Came here for lunch with my dad and we both ordered the #6 plate. The #6 plate consists of chicken Chow Mein, Broccoli Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, and an Egg Roll. The portions were big! This was enough for 2-3 meals. In about an hour, the food was ready for pick up so I was really impressed by their quick service. To say it was fresh from the freezer is putting it lightly. The 2 pieces of battened chicken weren't even golden brown. They were more of a blonde color, yet cooked . The "sweet and sour" pork had no pineapple and was more like dry battered pork chunks tossed in a thin sweet and sour glaze. The stir fried rice and chickenless chow mien was bland. This little gem is a small kitchen with 5 tables, 4 seats each, if you decide to come eat here for lunch. The cashier at the time I visited was very sweet and brought out my take out to me when it was ready. While waiting, I was studying their menu. I would drive across town to the berryessa location and was extremely happy to find out there was one near me. I started ordering here and loved the food. Taste and quality isn't my issue. Last night I had my son pick up my order of fried rice, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork, and tempura shrimp. The Mongolian beef was just a massive amount of onions and peppers, literally 4 pieces of beef that I had to dig to find and the shrimp was over cooked and very tough to chew, I gave up.
