    Wor Wonton Soup
    Elena N.

Date: Thursday, June 12th, 2025 Time: around 4pm Meal: Early Bird Dinner / Late Lunch Takeaway *Wor Wonton Soup The bro in law was grabbing food on the way home and asked me if I wanted anything. He picked the spot, I just had to look at the menu. I hadn't had soup in a while, so decided to try the wonton soup. It had a good amount of meat and seafood and a few veggies - mushrooms, spinach. As expected, the wontons bloomed so the wrappers were very water logged and separated from the filing. That didn't really bother me as this always happens when I get wonton soup takeout. I just wish restos would separate the dumplings like most do with the noodles in noodle soup. Taste wise, I found this a little salty. Maybe due to a bit too much MSG? Don't get me wrong, I love MSG. I grew up with it. But sometimes, it can be a lil too much. I did try to balance it with a bunch of white pepper I had at home. Based solely on the wonton soup, I'd rate this in the middle. A-OK. Orange Chicken Fried Rice and Egg Drop Soup looks very appealing, but not as flavorful as it looks.

I really was excited to try Fu Kee. We went for lunch and ordered the Orange Chicken with Fried Rice, Mongolian Chicken with White Rice and an order of Bok Choy Shrimp Dumplings . It is counter service restaurant , and the young lady was very friendly and helpful. It's a very clean restaurant, with lots of seating. I liked the food, but my palate found it light on the flavor side. I was hoping to love it. It was hot and fresh, but not memorable.

Always a solid spot for good food. The service is always friendly and the restaurant is clean. Got the family special which is enough for three adults. The kung pao chicken is perfectly spiced and the potato beef is my favorite. The prices have risen but still decent prices...

As a person who has been traveling this past week, this place was actually very good. The service was fast, and delicious. However, the Mongolian beef was a little different than what I used to, (texture wise) but that doesn't mean it was bad! They have outdoor and indoor seating, but it was perfect for me and my family to eat in. One thing I dislike was the crab puffs but other than that. Everything was great!

Was craving some sort of Chinese food and saw this place in a nearby plaza. Didn't know what to expect but figured they would have some variety. I ended up getting the Mongolian beef plate for dine in. Staff was nice and service was quick! The portion was filling and once I started eating I knew I'd want to come back to try more of their dishes.

Yummy dumplings all day. The dessert dumplings are fire. I like how they also have chinese food options and soups too.

Good every-day lunch place. Don't expect Michelin stars, but it hits the spot. Reliable and the dim sum options are decent.

Although it's an online menu, we ordered via the server and food was freshly made. The tables are not big and we had to shuffle dishes around. Food quality wise was not that impressive though. We tried: - coke chicken wing: does not taste like coke chicken wing, lacking the fried element on the outside, more like a sweet soy sauce chicken wing - pan fried buns: ok, has juice inside, but some part of the bun was too hard. - regular XLB: tasted ok as there's soup inside. The wrapping can be thinner. - rainbow XLB: the most disappointed dish. They were almost all broken when we tried to pick them up. The pink one I got was curry beef and it just tasted weird. The green one which we presumed is spinach wrapping is actually a veggie XLB. - Garlic noodle with spam and veg: This is the best dish of all. There are slices of soft mushroom, good garlic flavor, we had spam and cabbage added. $13.60 for plain noodle and toppings such as protein and veg are each $2-$3 on top. -Garlic Kale: also good, chopped garlic brought up good flavors and the kale are fresh. -Ube buns: freshly made and not overly sweet, good size and quality, but 4 for $13.5 is not that affordable. Total damage before tips is $104. I think I still prefer Shanghai #1 for pan fried buns and other Shanghainese dishes.

You place your order through a QR code, which makes the process quick and easy. This visit, we ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings, Tidu Sliced Beef Pot, and Tianjin Eggplant. The wings are a must-order here. They're always perfectly fried and crispy on the outside while still staying juicy and tender inside. The Tidu Sliced Beef Pot reminded me of a dry hot pot. It had a great mala flavor with a subtle numbing sensation, and the peanuts added a nice crunch and texture to the dish. The Tianjin Eggplant was simple but delicious, with flavorful pork that paired really well with the soft eggplant. Overall, the food here is comforting and satisfying. It's a place I'll definitely keep coming back to.

It's in a busy complex, but there was enough parking. When I walked in, I noticed they had a half-empty dining room but a ton of to-go orders wrapped up, including mine. I really loved the Mongolian beef, and the eggplant dish we got was good too. The chow mein was good. I did like the cucumber salad, but it would be better if it were sliced smaller, so the marinade could infuse the cucumbers. Service was friendly. Food was very fresh. I did notice the portion sizes were generous and we had plenty of leftovers!

Not the same Mayflower that I went to growing up but this place did NOT disappoint…read more We were in the mood for dim sum on the way to the T&T grocery store opening and yelp brought us here. We walked in right at opening to a completely empty dining room. Instead of leaving, we browsed the menu and ordered XLB, pot stickers, jelly fish, and pea sprouts (my personal fav) so glad we didn't leave! The XLB are a nice size, with each precious dumpling cradled in its own foil wrapper for maximum soup retention. The potstickers were full of flavor, packed with protein, delicately wrapped, and had the crispiest, golden bottoms! Jelly fish was fresh and the pea sprouts were a hit! The poor owner answering the phones made sure (in all languages) to inform folks calling in that there were a different May Flower than the other place-felt terrible for her but also understood the importance of differentiating right up front. I can only imagine the number of misorders they have probably dealt with. By the time we were done, the dining room was filled with a mix of what seemed like regulars, locals, large groups of families, small groups of friends... this feels like we stumbled upon a tiny hole in the wall restaurant where everyone who has been before just knows the quality and taste they are going to be getting! Highly recommend you check this place out for a dine in or take out order!

This is one of the handful of American Chinese restaurants that stood the test of time. As is typical of these places, there was an old lady manning the counter and also acting as the server. And as is typical of these places, there was table at the end where they were prepping the fruits and veggies. It's truly remarkable how they are all similar in these ways! We got a couple of dishes and they came out at lightning speed. * Chowmein-3/5- delicious with lots of umami flavor but shockingly greasy. I mean I am used to oily noodles but this one exceeded some limits. *crispy salt and pepper eggplant-3/5- I had a stellar version of this dish at another restaurant in Sunnyvale and was stoked when I saw this on the menu here. Unfortunately it was a poor representation of the dish I loved there. The batter was too much and the dish felt heavy. The hot oil or sauce they had felt old and extremely vinegary as well, I would recommend avoiding it.
