Best restaurant in Albuquerque and possibly the South West. Their Green Chili Cheeseburger is so massive and delicious. The burritos are massive as well. The Green Chili they use is tasty.

Finally made it here after years of hearing about it. Service was fast and friendly with plenty of tables to sit with simple decor. I ordered a breakfast chicharron burrito, plus an eclair and cookie to share with my sisters. The eclair was delicious, the cookie seemed stale. I got Christmas on my burrito. The chile was nice and hot and flavorful. To my liking, the chicharrones were good but were way too big of pieces and made it hard to chew. Would've been much better if they were smaller.

They have the very best teacher burritos around! The food is reasonably priced, the service is always prompt in the restaurant is nice and clean! A must if you're looking for authentic New Mexican cuisine!

Everything about this place is AMAZING! It's a big easy access when you walk in pretty straight forward. Call in orders on one side and the counter the place your order on the other side. The stuff was very polite and super prompt. Inside wasn't loud it smelled of wonderful food was very clean. Every single thing looked delicious. I got a steak lunch burrito with Christmas. The chile was incredible perfect flavor not too hot but perfect! This is probably the best place in town I'm shocked they don't have more reviews.

My first time stopping here to get chicharron burrito And a carne adovada burrito. They Were very pricey for a burrito. I suggest eating it at the restaurant if you can. Otherwise. It will be soggy mess. For the price alone I probably will not be back.

Bring your appetite. This burrito was huge. The inside is simple and clean. I picked chicharones with red. The chicharones were super meaty and had a wonderful chew. The tortilla was also perfect. It had enough pliability to hold everything in without ripping or dripping. They also have a little coffee bar connect that I picked up a horchata from. It was refreshing and the service was great. I can't wait to try more from this spot!

My wonderful mom brought back takeout from this spot. Hands down best chicharron ($8 for a quarter pound) I have ever had. Crispy, flavorful, totally addictive. We also tried the Philly Cheesesteak ($13) and the Chicharron Burrito ($10). Hearty, filling, and amazing. I am so glad this place exists :)

Excellent food! Clean tables. Friendly staff. Crowded, which is a good sign. Had best breakfast burritos well balanced with egg and meat and cheese, it was filled full with potato as the filler. Love the tortilla around it. Thin and tasty! Also had one of the best apple fritters I've ever had for $2.70. Was heavy and actually had apples in it. Have had way too many fritters in other places where the apples are hardly there. It was hefty in weight! Delicious. The beef jerky was wonderful, and the chicharrones came out warm, fresh, and delicious! Highly recommend!

Sausage and green Chile breakfast burrito

Went to NM Jerky Company for Brunch this morning before hitting the growers market. The food came out fairly fast. Charles Chavez had the sausage breakfast burrito with green chile and I had the taco burger with red chile and chile cheese fries. Both had amazing flavors. The burrito was worth two meals and was worth the price. The chile had a little heat to it. The taco burger will give me another meal as well. The red Chile was not spicy but the flavor was so good. We were able to find a seat, but the next time we may just may a phone call and pick up the food to go.

Tried this place 3 times. First a chicharron burrito. Too much gushy un rendered fat. Second: same Third: tried a Philly. Not like the ones I've enjoyed, never even saw the onions and the bell peppers were undercooked. Not cheesy. The meat was tough. I am surprised because so many people love this place. The atmosphere is great and the people there are great.

The number Ethan told me to text

I used to love NM Beef Jerky Co. They were my go to whenever I was near Downtown. But last week, I picked up my order and after getting back to work, I realized my order did not match what it said on my receipt and what was printed on the bag ticket. I called to ask for a refund and spoke to manager Ethan, who also took my order over the phone. Ethan agreed to give me a refund for me getting the wrong food (after demanding I text him a photo of my meal, which I did...) but I never got a refund. Instead, I was double charged for my food, which I could not eat because it was not as I ordered. I guess I will have to dispute the original charge that should have been refunded and the extra charge with my bank, because all Ethan did was lie to me and treat me like a fool. I love the food here but poor management can lead a place to go downhill fast. I will never be returning and urge everyone to think twice before visiting because this establishment does not value its customers, their time, or their money. Very disappointing.

Last I knew of this place it was a little local restaurant and it closed and reopen as nm beef jerky co. I thought it was just jerky until I yelped it while looking for places to eat in the area. I was shocked at the full menu and superior reviews it had so we had to stop in. It's super crowded but very fast. You order at the counter and either sit in the restaurant or take it to go. We opted to try the chicharron burrito smothered xmas and steak and onion breakfast plate. Everything was delicious! The burrito is so massive I couldn't even eat half of it! The chicharrones were perfect with a little fat and a lot of meat. The place is very clean too. There's a little coffee/pastry place inside that has delicious lemonade and massive apple fritters too!

Our server was there promptly as we were seated taking our drink order and finding out we were first timers, pointed out common favorites as suggestions. We shared a biscuit and gravy breakfast plate, which the restaurant was kind enough to split for us in the kitchen. The menu stated they used sausage gravy and photos from here on Yelp supported that; we however got gravy with zero sausage. It wasn't even a creamy country gravy. It was so thin. The taste was good but still disappointing. The potatoes were excellent. Well seasoned with crispy bits. The egg was perfect for us. Over easy order=whites solid with runny yolk. The egg was so good I ate most of it before I remembered to take a picture. The food I'd give 3.5 stars but the service pulled my rating up to 4. We do plan on returning for their amazing looking pancakes, waffle plates and or French toast. When we left the restaurant at 10:10 AM the waitlist had started. All benches by the entrance were full. A very popular restaurant!

The kids are happy, I'm happy, and honestly, that's a successful breakfast in my book. The only downside is the limited seating. It's a smaller location, so it can fill up quickly, especially during the breakfast rush. If you happen to come during a really busy time, you may have to wait a bit to find a table. That said, I don't think it takes away from the experience you just have to time it right. We usually come for breakfast since they're open for breakfast and lunch, and this time I tried the Grande burrito. And let me tell you, "Grande" is not an exaggeration. That is a LOT of food. I got the bacon-smothered burrito with red chile, and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I could not finish it. I do wish there was something between the Grande and Junior because the Grande is a serious commitment, and I'm not sure the Junior would be enough. I'll have to try it next time and find out. My daughter ordered the steak sandwich, which comes with an Angus sirloin steak on Texas toast. It looked a little wild when it came out, but she ate it and said it was delicious, so apparently the presentation was just part of the experience. My son got the sausage, egg and cheese biscuits. He ate the whole thing, so clearly he approved. His only complaint was that the biscuit kept falling apart, but considering he's a little kid, I'm going to blame that one on the user rather than the biscuit. The staff has always been friendly during our visits. On this particular morning, a gentleman came around several times to refill our house coffee, which I always appreciate. Good service and a full coffee cup go a long way. And if you're into pastries and coffee, they have plenty of options. I've tried their blueberry muffin, and it is divine. They also have different baked scones, and I've had their lattes and macchiatos, which have all been really good. I still need to come back during the lunch hours because there are several things I want to try. The hot beef sundae caught my attention, and the Philly also looked really good. There are so many different options that I feel like I could keep coming back and ordering something different every time. This is definitely the kind of place where you can stop in, grab something really good, enjoy a little coffee, and get on with your morning. It's casual, welcoming, and consistently good. Limited seating is really my only complaint. Otherwise, I've been here multiple times and have yet to leave disappointed. Definitely a must-try!

For our meal, we ordered two Chicken & Waffles plates, a Blue Corn Lavender Waffle, and a kids' plate. The Chicken & Waffles were the highlight of the meal, offering a satisfying balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Blue Corn Lavender Waffle was a unique touch and a fun way to try something distinctly New Mexican. Neither my wife nor I cared for the drip coffee, so we asked a staff member if we could swap it out for double espressos. They were happy to accommodate us, and the espresso was a significant improvement. The service was friendly, and the staff made a positive first impression from the phone call all the way through our visit. For our family, the total came to about $80, which felt a little steep. We ended up eating inside since the patio tables were either occupied or unavailable (due to a sleeping homeless person). The restaurant is housed in a renovated older home, and they've done a nice job making the most of the space. One of my favorite touches was the collection of retro waffle makers displayed along the walls, which added a fun, nostalgic charm to the atmosphere. All in all it was just a piece of toast with an egg DROWNING in sour vegan hollandaise and pesto with asparagus and an inedible fried mushroom thing. And to say 'thing' is even offensive to 'things.' Upside! The place is cute and the people I went with seemed to really enjoy their meals! So take my review with a grain of salt. Maybe it just wasn't for me?

They have the maple pecan donut back for fall and it is delicious. We also tried the pumpkin donut…read moreand it didn't disappoint! We were planning on stopping for lunch but heads up they now only serve their pasties, drinks and now burritos. The rest of the menu is gone. So this trip we just stuck to the donuts!
