I love this place! The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is super quick and friendly. The restaurant is clean and I like the booths. Their egg foo young is to die for! It's so yummy and the gravy is on point. The pu pu platter is a great way to taste a little bit of everything.

You never knew you needed Chinese Fajitas (Hibachi) we absolutely love it here it is not trinational so don't go expecting that but with the sauce and the vegies it give a flavor way beyond any of those bland Hibachis around. There is not really any duds on the menu. In the colder months the spicy beef noodle soup is amazing and it really does pack a kick, its got a rich beef broth and a hearty flavor than will fill you up. My go to is the happy family or one of the Hibachi the steak or the chicken although the sauce is a brown sauce that works well with beef its also no slouch with chicken either. You can't really go wrong here, my biggest compliment is the way they cook the vegies there are never mushy or over done so they have a nice snap when you bite into them. This is the spot that probably is the best Moo goo gai pan a dish most places do too gooy but its just right here. The fired rice used in dishes like the Yangzhou fried rice is just right not too oily and has lots of flavor, I don't really care for generic fried used in like a lunch special I much prefer these full dinner portion I think the meats and veggies gives it a better taste. This place crushes it and there is an ice cream machine you and a table with a few inhouse treats to end off your meal if you are inclined. Most places have had there quality drop off in the last few months but New Royal has kept consistent.

We tried this place a few days ago. Honestly, it wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about. We had the Sweet & Sour Chicken with Wonton Soup and the Sesame Chicken with Hot & Sour Soup. The food was good, not great. The atmosphere was good. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. If I was already in the area and with people who wanted to eat there, I would.

Quiet, sleepy little strip mall Chinese food restaurant. I went in for lunch because I had some thing nearby. There were two or three tables and it was pretty quiet. I ordered the spice beef noodle soup (Not a typo it is just spice). Giant bowl of soup came out loaded with sliced beef, bok choy, and tons of noodles in a very rich beef broth. It was so big I was able to take an equal size portion home. It was good, but difficult to eat and required slurping so I ended up getting some on my shirt ha ha ha. The other problem is the beef strips were so thick and large it would have been nice to be able to cut them but I did not have a knife. Additionally same goes for the bok choy, so big it did not fit into your mouth and one bite. This was easily fixed when I was able to cut it up at home my second serving. So ask for a knife and fork with your soup! Soup really hit the spot on a cold rainy day, it was a little bit on the salty side but the beef was nice, not fatty or too tough. The noodles were amazing! Also I bought a tin of perfectly crisp sesame cookies on the way out and they are absolutely amazing and worth stopping by this giant just for the cookies!

Found this place through yelp goes to show that this app works ! Place was clean quiet atmosphere would be what you would expect. Service good fast friendly waitress was quiet but on top of her game, food really good Korean bbq ribs were good but would be better basted through cooking. Egg foo young spot on huge filled with onions chicken peppers, came with side gravy to top it off. Definitely will return

Fried wonton wrapper chips and plum sauce.

Unless you are well versed in the variations of Chinese cuisine, menu pictures are vital for making a good decision. The New Royal Dragon's meals commence with a Chinese equivalent of chips and salsa. A warm plum dipping sauce and fried wonton wrapper chips are provided to keep you occupied while the food is prepared. The service is fast. Very fast. The soup that comes with the lunch special, will be there before you have had no more than a few bites of the chips. Our choice of soup, "hot and sour" was not the best in flavor compared, to other versions we have had. For the meal, we focused on the familiar, less risky items of the Lunch Special list, Kung Pao Chicken and The General's Chicken. Both came with a large and good tasting, egg roll. Not a lot of descriptive effort is needed for these common Chinese meals. Simply Good! New Royal Dragon summary: big menu of familiar Chinese food and sides, fast service, fair value on the lunch specials, overall, another 4-star comparable Chinese restaurant. More inessential guidance......... to assist in selecting a tasty Chinese meal! Back to my initial point. First, check the menu picture of the Chinese food to make sure there are no chicken feet visible on the plate. Next critical criterion. If the protein was alive, and it escaped, and was found living among Oklahoma's pristine flora and fauna, would it be considered an invasive species? If you are comfortable with information that you have ascertained, proceed to the final and decisive factor, the method of preparation. Is the protein raw, in a soup/broth, stir fried or is it breaded and deep fried? Raw, in a soup, or broth, well... That's an edgy call. You are on your own with that decision. Stir fried, a preparation style that might be to your liking. However! If it is unrecognizable, breaded and deep fried, put chili sauce on it and "Eat It!" Who cares what it was?

Our server was extremely friendly and quickly brought us drinks. Since this was our first time it took us a while to look over the menu which was quite extensive. The entire back page of the menu was filled with lunch specials which are priced very reasonably at $7.99. We all ordered from the lunch menu. I ordered Chicken lo Mein anda cup of Hot & Sour soup. The other people in my party ordered Sesame Chicken and General Tso's Chicken. All three of us were extremely pleased with the service and the quality of the food. My hot and sour soup was extremely delicious. It was chock full of sliced mushrooms and several pieces of tofu and it was almost a meal in itself and was served very hot. My Chicken lo Mein was equally delicious. The others in my party praised their meals as well and all three of us felt that we had finally found an excellent Chinese restaurant. I look forward to my next visit.

You can get all the common dishes here but you can also get some unusual dishes that are very authentic. My grandson once ordered jelly fish. You can't get that at very many local restaurants. Another thing I like is that they have a couple of large round tables with lazy Susans. Our extended family sat at one of those tables once. It was fun putting the things we wanted to share on the lazy Susan and being able to spin it around and try what we wanted. It made for fun conversation talking about the different dishes. That was when our grandson ordered jellyfish. The restaurant is fairly small but the large tables make the restaurant good for groups. I think this would be an excellent place for a Yelp event. They have a lunch menu but you have to ask for it. It includes some of the popular Asian dishes for $9:95. They have smaller portions that come with a choice of soup or egg roll. Danny and I asked to see the lunch menu, but decided to order off the main menu. We split Crispy Tofu with garlic sauce and egg rolls. I liked the presentation of the egg rolls. They were cut diagonally and arranged nicely on the plate. The tofu dish was quite tasty. Next time, I plan to get Mei Fun. I have had it here before and loved the variety of flavors. The service wasn't terrible but it wasn't wonderful. We got our food in a timely manner, but we felt rushed to order and she didn't check to see if we needed anything or refill our water glasses. Service here has been excellent in the past. I am glad we came back to Chengdu and were reminded of how much we like it. We will be back soon.

I have had the opportunity to eat at some of the finest Chinese restaurants throughout San Francisco and have eaten at some of the best Chinese restaurants in Baja Mexico (I realize this may sound ridiculous, but Mexico has some of the best Asian restaurants). It may surprise you but the Chinese influence and culture is very rich in Baja. And, I like some heat! I am also somewhat familiar with the Schahuan region style of cooking recognized for being spicy and hot! I was visiting from Texas, my cousin and kinda fell upon this restaurant accidentally! Truly I forgot what all we ordered but I know I had the Green Beans and Chicken Lo Mein. This is one of the top three Chinese restaurants I have ever eaten at! The food was so authentic, just enough heat and delicious! I would love to return.

When I moved out of Tulsa in 2015, I made sure to eat there every single time I visited town (which is at least once a year). Unfortunately, on my last recent visit, the food had sharply declined in quality. Others had told me it had declined the last year or so, but obviously I had to try it myself. They clearly changed the lo mein recipe A LOT. It used to be my favorite lo mein on the planet, now it's so painfully average you could get the same lo mein anywhere else. The vegetables and tofu also weren't as flavorful, not was the kung pao chicken. The sesame chicken was still pretty good, as were the egg rolls. I'm BEGGING you all to please bring back the old lo mein recipe and go back to what you were doing before. There's a reason you survived in that cursed strip mall for so long while so many other businesses failed. Your old recipes competed with Flushing Queens (NYC, best Chinatown in the country) and now your food is average.
