The egg rolls and spring rolls were delicious. Our takeout order was ready when I arrived early, and it was easy to order from both the Chinese and Japanese menus. The ambiance is narrow restaurant in strip mall, with tiny sushi corner and dark panels. The sushi rolls tasted kind of Chinese to me, with extra sauces and thick breading on the tempura shrimp. The General chicken (called 'Gau' around Boston, 'Tso' elsewhere) was pretty good, but not the best. Sauces were quite sweet. While it's not inexpensive, the entrees were all large enough to share. I asked for house chow mein with a note about a shrimp allergy, and they were happy to accommodate, which I really appreciated. The chow mein wasn't as bold in flavor as some other spots, but I get the sense that's not what they specialize in. I usually go for the 3-roll maki combo because for the price it's hard to beat when you're just craving sushi without dropping money on the more elaborate rolls. Yesterday we ordered beef with vegetables. all that was added to the meat was a huge amount of stinky mushrooms that ruined the whole food completely! terribly tasteless, the smell alone was simply unbearable, I had to throw the whole food away! in another food, there was a lot of onion, in fact it consisted of half beef and half onion, it's just some kind of nonsense! Finding a place that delivers is hard in NB. When I saw that this location used grub hub I happily ordered. What I ordered : Large crab Rangoon- comes with 10 pieces. They were really good wish I had them warm. Large vegetable fried rice- My son and I enjoyed it. Yaki udon noodles- I was disappointed with them they were bland. I wouldn't order them again. Fries- still crispy when they arrived. It took them 40 minutes to deliver(normal) and they packaged everything well. I found it a bit pricey for what I ordered ($35). read more

Only decent Chinese and Sushi place around. We moved here from the Bay Area a few months ago. The lack of authentic Asian food makes me really homesick. This place is the only consolation. We've been here four five times now. I've been trying different dishes each time. Most are good. It is Cantonese not northern Chinese. Sushi is surprisingly fresh and delicious. I always wanted to give sushi a try but the sea weed always turned me away. The very friendly waitress (actually the owner) who I have became good friends with, urged me to try the Mapo sushi wrap which is a substitute for the seaweed. Ordered delivery for four People while working. Delivery driver is an older man wreaking of Pot. He is missing two orders which was paid for and one order is completely wrong. We call and explain the error and the Receptionist states she will Have the missing items sent back over. While waiting one person started eating their meal. Midway through they found two Short black hairs. We called again and the receptionist began talking in circles avoiding the complaint. In the meantime pot head returns with no food!! We begin asking him where the missing food was (not that I was going to eat after the hairs were found) and he yells "hey ladies I just work here" swinging his arms and walking out the door! When I lived in the south end, I used to dine here on a regular basis, and they used to be known as Lin's Cuisine. It was my ultimate go-to for delicious food in a peaceful and lovely environment. They recently underwent a change and became New Taipei, offering a larger, more varied menu, and an absolutely gorgeous dining area. I went today for the first time in a long time. I was immediately surprised by the new look and was pleased to see the familiar faces of the owners who were as friendly as ever. Service was prompt and the waitress was absolutely wonderful. I started with an appetizer of California rolls which were delicious and beautifully presented. My father and I both ordered the General Gau chicken and the recipe is reminiscent of the original that I remember from years ago, but improved upon greatly. It was an immaculate dining experience and it reminded me of how much I missed going there and brought back many fond memories. I'm looking forward to making another visit this weekend. read more
