The service here really missed the mark. It felt like the restaurant was stretching itself too thin by trying to do hibachi, sushi, and seafood boil all at once instead of focusing on one specialty. Our drinks arrived only after our food, and the place seemed disorganized with very few servers attending tables. It was disappointing since we were excited to try it but ended up waiting too long for attention. Came for a weekend dinner with a group of 5 . We didn't have a reservation, but they were able to seat us after a fairly short wait. I ordered a few frozen lychee martinis which were SO yummy. A friend got the frozen espresso martini which I liked as well. We got some gyoza for the table which were delicious and came with a tangy dipping sauce. The crab Rangoons weren't my favorite that I've had, but they were still good. I ordered the Tom Yum soup, which was the perfect level of spicy with fragrant fresh lemongrass. Honestly thought they were closed because of the covers on all the windows but to our surprise they were open! I can definitely see how they can get busy on the weekends. The food was okay. I know veg sushi can be tough because it's simple but I've had some very delicious veg sushi at other restaurants. The sushi here was just okay. Let's start of with the negatives the Scorpion Bowl was $18 and tasted like water. Neither me or my wife could hardly taste any alcohol. Now to the positives ! The waitress was excellent, very friendly, prompt and kept our table clean. This restaurant is always very clean looking including the restrooms. Went for dinner here based on Yelp reviews. Wasn't disappointed. Had the spicy Maki combo. Spicy crab, tuna, and salmon rolls with miso soup and salad. It was good but it wasn't chunks of fish like I was expecting rather it was pureed/chopped mixture. Total with tax and tip was $26. I would go back to try something different. Deducted another star because we made a reservation for 7pm on a Saturday for my mother in law's birthday. We walk in at 6:55 and give them our names. They tell us to at will be a 30 minute wait. My wife says what's the point of making a reservation if you are still going to make us wait 30 minutes? The guy at the counter had the gall to say if you hadn't it would be 45. I've been to this place twice now. Both times the service was horrible. You can't get your waitresses attention for the life of ya and that's when they are actually in the room. Today however, we made a reservation and were there ON TIME. They had us waiting for at least 5min at the door to be seated and then another 10 at the table as the waitress kept coming out of the back and then walking back in, making eye contact with me everytime. There may be an issue with their listed hours. Placed an order online after opening time. Went at scheduled time for pick-up and multiple people were waiting for staff. There were staff present in the back but no one came up to help. Left without order. This was 30 mins after listed opening time. I've been here before and enjoyed the food. Mainly just poor service this time. update: received a call over an hour after pick up time to state my order was there. I explained the situation, and was offered no apology and hung up on. Heard great things about this place, and it did not disappoint! I was hesitant pulling up to the restaurant the first time, as there were no cars in the lot and the windows were blocked with curtains. However, the inside of the restaurant was beautiful, clean and classy. The wait service was very attentive and timely. The sushi is hands down the best in the area - it was so good, we came back again in the same day and brought my parents along! (...and they loved it just as much!) Everything on the menu looks delicious, however my favorites were the pork gyoza, and the spicy tuna, California, and Yum Yum sushi rolls. We decided to stop in for a snack around 8:30pm. Parking is in the lot in back of Honey Dew next door (or maybe that was just for today?). When stepping in the restaurant you are greeted with a clean, modern, fun atmosphere complete with bright color lights. We opted for restaurant section since we were just getting snacks. Next time definitely doing Hibachi. I ordered the sweet potato tempura roll, my husband ordered eel avocado and chicken tempura rolls. Service was friendly and waters were refilled during our visit. Sushi was served on a beautiful plate, presentation was gorgeous. The food was even better. We are so happy to have this new addition and can't wait to keep coming back. Ordered $50 for delivery. I have never had an issue before but this time I received a call asking if I had ordered food, which I replied yes, they said okay and hung up. Two hours went by and I still did not receive my food, the website showed it was being picked up, and then they cancelled the order with no explanation. I called the restaurant and they said my food was STOLEN by the driver ??? They did not offer to refund me after charging my card and they didn't even offer to make new food and deliver it. Horrendous! Walked in on a random Wednesday afternoon and stood in the front for 5 mins before someone came and sat us down. Once we were seated we just sat there and looked around for someone to take our order and for 15 minutes we didn't see a single person, so we got up and walked out. Not acceptable! With all the small business being closed down because of COVID-19, this place didn't seem to care about customers and as a business you should be thankful for every single person that walks in the door. read more

The food's pretty good here and the place looks nice, but the service is very low quality. We had a reservation for 6:15, got there a couple minutes late, no one actually came up to the front until 6:23 ish, and even then our reserved hibachi table wasn't even ready yet. Once we did get to our table, not a SINGLE server came over for 20 minutes at least. I don't actually know when a server did get there because we went up to some server at around 6:45 and requested to sit at a table instead because we weren't even getting served. At our new table we finally did get service, but our server after we signed the checks just stood at our table staring at us and basically trying to tell us to tip her more (we tipped 15%). Overall the food was pretty good, but I would never come here again. read more

Great service and entertainment. The first time I ate teppanyaki cuisine was in Epcot, so anytime I go to hibachi, it always brings me back to that memory. We had a party of 10 for my birthday so we sat in a semi privite room and it was a good option so that our group being a little rowdy/ laughing didn't disturbed the other guest trying to enjoy their meals. The scorpion bowls where very good. The sake, egg, and fire tricks are always a crowd pleaser. The food was great, noodles/ rice/ proteins, all cooked to everyone's liking and being served right off the grill. I usually don't like to go to the same place twice but for this place I can't wait to tell my family who lives in that area and to get a big group together again for a fun time. After showing us to our seats, our waitress showed up almost immediately, she was very pleasant in demeanor. I've been to this place a few times before and I've never had a bad experience until last night..... we got a few roles of sushi and a chicken hibachi and it was horrible. The rice tasted fishy and just disgusting. The fish from the sushi was not fresh at all. Not even 5 hours after eating from there I was throwing it all back up, I thought it was just from the alcohol but I continued to throw up threw the night and the next day. This review is based on the following: Jalapeño Bombs Kani Salad Sexy Girl Roll Spicy Kani and Salmon Avocado Hand Roll Hibachi Shrimp and Scallop Dinner The fish was so extremely fresh that no soy or wasabi were even necessary, it melted in your mouth. The jalapeño bomb appetizer is a must, they managed to perfectly cook the tempura, it was so light and crispy, the crab was seasoned perfectly. Kani salad took over as the best one I've had outside of Japantown!!! Our friends ordered hibachi and said all the veggies were cooked perfectly and the sauces were divine. Great tasting food, but I mostly appreciate the way it is presented. Some of the dishes look like artwork!! Very pretty and relaxed environment. They are also accommodating for the whole family. I had my kids with me and they spilled a glass of water, the waitresses were very kind and understanding as they helped us with the mess.
