I would assign ZERO stars if I could! Owner did not finish my alteration on the date she set [nine…read moredays]. When I arrived to pick up the garment one day after she said it would be done [May 1 rather than April 30], she said it was not done. I asked if she had my phone number [why didn't she call to inform me it wasn't complete?] - she said she did. She set a new pickup date of May 4. I picked it up on May 5 and asked for a small discount, given her lack of communication about job completion, as well as a completely irresponsible attitude about the job. She said her price - $48 for a simple, front-only alteration of a blazer - was normally $78, and that I was "already getting a discount"! [She was asked to hem just ONE side of the blazer - why would I be charged an outrageous $78 fee for such a simple request?] She stated that she had told me that she was discounting the price from $78 to $48 when I dropped off the blazer on April 21 [she did not]. Moments later, her daughter came from the back, staring at me, asking me why I was "screaming" - which I most definitely was not, and calling me "passive aggressive". [Perhaps she needs to research the term, as I was most definitely NOT being passive aggressive. The owner then told me her daughter was a psychologist and plans to be a doctor. Ridiculous!]. The owner offered several times to show me the camera footage of our initial conversation on April 21 to verify that she had made statements on that day that I disputed today. I asked if the camera footage had recorded our conversation as well. She said yes. When I informed her that I would be posting a Yelp review - she became even more upset. She made several statements that were either untrue or embellished. Her attitude, by the way, changed entirely when she stated a customer was approaching the store. She was apparently more concerned about how she "appeared" to a male customer than resolving the issue. All in all, a very negative experience. By the way, I requested two years ago that buttons be moved on another blazer. The garment now does not hang properly because the buttons are not lined up evenly. Despite this, I did not complain or return for an adjustment, deciding to let the matter go. There are many other dry cleaning establishments in the area - I would suggest another one where family members do not demonstrate bullying tactics, do not name-call, and where the owner stands by her word. Shameful.

I like the regular…read moreschedule...knowing I can dump stuff in the box one day and it will be delivered back a couple of days later...fire and forget. One thing I don't like is that they remove the collar stays on my shirts, ostensibly to launder and iron them. This makes perfect sense, but they don't put them back in! So then I'm scrounging around looking for collar stays at home. This is not unique to Prestige but can't figure out why this is so hard for cleaners to understand...if you take something out of my shirt, please put it back. And if you can't put it back, can you at least give me the collar stays so I can put them in myself?! Also--in one isolated incident--they charged me extra to try and get the wrinkles out of a seersucker shirt. I would have expected that a company that specializes in fabrics and fabric item care would know that seersucker fabric is BY DESIGN puckered and rough...but no amount of ironing is going to remove it! (see picture). Overall, the work they do is fine. I don't think they are better than any cleaner and they certainly aren't worse.

I got my wedding dress back around 2-3 weeks after dropping it off. The box it comes back in is huge! I wish it was a little smaller because it makes it a headache to store in my house, takes up slot of room. But the box is sealed with a transparent cover so I can open it and view it without ever jeopardizing its integrity.

My wife even had her wedding dress preserved here after we got married. The reality is most dry cleaners offer pretty similar services, so what really separates them is customer service and how they handle problems. I had an important interview coming up, so I dropped off my suit and shirt early like I always do....just in case something went wrong. This time, something did. When I went to pick everything up, my shirt was missing. I'm sure Kelly saw the look on my face while I was mentally trying to figure out how I was going to replace it before the interview. Before I even had to push the issue, she stepped up and made it right. She paid for a replacement shirt and comped the suit dry cleaning. About a week later, they found my original shirt attached to someone else's order, and I picked it up yesterday. Mistakes happen anywhere. What matters is how a business responds when they do. Kelly and the team handled it the right way, and that's why I'll keep coming back.

We recently downsized to an apartment and had to give up our washer and dryer. We reviewed a few and decided to try Joy Laundry that was just a few blocks away. We were blown away! The place was spotless clean and modern. The owner was extremely helpful, welcomed us like a guest in their home, and walked us through how to use everything. In addition, they explained their additional services sush as there washer and fold, and they offer pick up and delivery. My wife actually likes this better than our former home setup because she can wash a week's laundry all at once! We are not techies but we downloaded their app which tells you which machines are available,how much they are, and even lets you customize the washer settings and pay. We won't be going anywhere else!

I needed it altered in less than 2 days. Instead of altering which would've taken days, I decided to add buttons so it didn't look so big. Elena was wonderful. Sure it's a little bit pricier, but it's a premium that I'm willing to pay for the service I get (they're driving to and from you!). I've had coats, dresses, and even traditional Indian wear handled by them, and each time it's been delivered cleanly and efficiently. The one time there was a delivery hiccup, it was resolved and addressed quickly. They also have a great web interface to keep you updated on progress. Overall I'd recommend this service if it fits your needs!

They have these huge washers that you can wash 8 loads of laundry for like $11!!! That's super cheap! There is an app you can use too. The speed queen app and you upload your laundry money there and every $20 up add you get a free $5 added to your funds. So that's pretty cool. If you don't do the app you can still use quarters (there's no extra $5 with that though. But I highly recommend the app. The woman who works here is super sweet and very helpful. It only took a couple hours so I'm thinking maybe this place is really fast so I waited a day picked up my order the next day. Didn't think of anything of it until I finally opened up the laundry to see that two shirts had stains on them on the front one had ring around the collar. And both were wrinkled . I have planned to make this place my go to for dry cleaning because of the service and speed and now I noticed that it won't be. I'm sure all the stars that this place have been accumulated because of laundromat. It looks to be a clean laundromat, i had to walk around and find the attendant They just lost a great customer.
